5 best hijabs for winter
Winter season is here! The excitement of trying on hijabs every trip to the mall has subsided because now I know what hijab will match my clothing, keep me warm in this cold weather, and still look good.
I believe winter hijabs are extra special because they need to be able to keep you warm and your hijab must stay in place. So here are my top 5 hijabs for winter:
1. Satin Hijab (expensive but worth it)
Price Range: $15+
Satin hijabs are the most expensive hijabs on the market, ranging from $15-25 each and sometimes even more. They keep you extra warm and they are just so soft to the touch! I find it very hard (but possible) to wear cheap satin hijabs because they feel like plastic and make a lot of noise whenever I move. If you want an expensive hijab that will last long, satin is the way to go!
I have bought satin hijabs in the past and I was really disappointed because they felt rough on my skin. The good thing about them was that they didn't slip off easily, but it's definitely not worth the risk of ruining your hijab after one wear.

2. Acrylic-Polyester Blends
Price Range: $10-15
Acrylic-polyester blends are a cheaper alternative to satin hijabs. They keep you very warm and they don't make a lot of noise when they rub up against each other. I personally feel like acrylic-polyester blend hijabs don't look as good as the expensive satin hijabs, but they still look beautiful. They are also very easy to wear and they don't slip off easily.
They are great hijabs for winter because of their good quality and affordable price range. This hijab is from Inayah Collection.

3. Cashmere Hijab
Price Range: $20+
Cashmere hijabs are a great choice for hijab wearers who live in cold climates and need to stay warm throughout the day. They look really luxurious and they also feel very comfortable on my skin. There's just something about cashmere that gives you that expensive, classy look! I find it weird wearing cashmere hijabs during the springtime because they are too warm for me, but I wear them all the time in winter!
Cashmere hijabs feel amazing on my skin and it doesn't itch at all. The only downside to cashmere is that it gets dirty very easily, so you have to be careful not to bump into anything when you're wearing your cashmere hijab. This hijab is from Planet gates.

4. Nylon Hijab (Cheap & Easy to find)
Price Range: $2-5
These are the best hijabs for winter if you want something cheap, simple, and non-scratchy on your skin! You can buy them in any store for an affordable price of $2-5 each. Nylon hijabs are pretty thin so they don't keep you very warm, but they are perfect hijab styles for winter days when it's not too cold outside.
Nylon hijabs can get dirty easily and they also slip off your head very easily, but the warmth that you get from wearing them is worth it! This nylon hijab is from Modish Muslimah.

5. Acrylic Hijab (very inexpensive)
Price Range: $1+
Acrylic hijabs are the cheapest hijabs on the market and they usually cost less than a dollar. They keep you very warm and it's okay if you don't take good care of them because they're so cheap! I find acrylic hijabs extremely itchy on my skin and I don't like how they feel on me, but if you have a tight budget, they are worth considering!
Acrylic hijabs rip very easily so you need to be careful about taking them off your head or ripping your hijab. The major downside to acrylic is that it's really ugly and looks like plastic. This hijab is from Joom.
