How similar in temperament are your versions of Molly and Hermione? I can't help but wonder if they would be thick as thieves or Dire Enemies if they were contemporaries
Thoughts on Hermione
Thoughts on Molly
Oh, Hermione's a thousand times worse than Molly. Molly's the normal amount of judgement and spite you expect from a person. Yeah, she's not as nice as Harry thinks she is, but she's relatively normal. Hermione will cut your face.
As for whether they'd get along or not...
It depends.
In canon they get along fairly well but do have their moments of friction. Namely, in fourth year, Molly believes that Hermione's a gold digger because of the Rita Skeeter articles and that she's after Harry and Viktor and who knows who else. Now, they got over it, we discover Rita's a fraud, Hermione shuts Rita up, and Molly moves on to hating Fleur instead and thinks Hermione's just wonderful for Ron.
But they're both extremely judgemental and it's not so much about who the other is as a person but their veneer.
Hermione hates Lavendar and Parvati, and true part of it is their treatment of her, but a large part of it is that she views them as silly girls obsessed with makeup and boys. Hermione despises the very idea of them.
Molly, for her own part, likes girls next door who are pretty enough but not bombshells (e.g. Fleur) who know their place and have the humble virtues that she approves of.
It works out because they're at the ages they're at. Molly is so "mother" that Hermione doesn't think about the fact that she's raising these seven children, has no career, and has a very affectionate relationship with Arthur and is interested in things like household charms. She's Hermiones surrogate mother, not her peer. Hermione, in turn, is a bright young woman, Ron's close friend, and easily becomes a sort of Percy-like (but without all the betrayal) daughter for Molly.
I think they'd hate each other if they were the same age.
Hermione would think Molly is dumb, unambitious, too focused on boys and her future as a house wife while Molly would think Hermione's snobby, uppity, and weirdly focused on employment.

If you were to write a story with Bella being inhuman at the start of twilight (any kind, nisse, nesse, selkie, w/e) in any way, what would you pick and why? (And why would Edward think her a demon .... just kidding but maybe a little not lol)
I think I'll go with a nøkk.
Bella alternates between many forms when she is on land. She can be a piece of driftwood, a beautiful white horse, a beautiful young man, a bearded old man, or a small person with a red nisse hat. Her aim stays the same, she lures people and animals into bodies of water where she then drowns them. Unbaptised children and pregnant women are most at risk, and her victims' deaths will be attributed to accidents or suicide. She can also be an omen of a drowning to come.
She bemoans her solitude, longing for the deliverance of her Christian soul that will never come.
This is Bella:
Tumblr media
On meeting the Cullens, she lures Edward into the water only for him to not drown. They bond over their hideous appearances (once she's in the water Bella often resembles a gloomy, hairy, thing that gazes at you from the depths) and "wahh I'm never getting into heaven :/" angst.
Carlisle befriends her too and tries to persuade her to stick to drowning animals.

If you end up reposting the Sisyphus fanfic version after you finish publishing the series, could you technically call it crossover fanfiction? HP x HotW
Haaaaa, I suppose I could, but I'd leave it labeled as is as, if I were to write a fic of it, it would not be the way the original fic was as there's characters/things I like much better from the book version.

given everything you have said about harry, what do you think will happen to his kids? how will they turn out?
I ascribe to Cursed Child.
I think Albus Severus ends up essentially his father but with a much less traumatic childhood that results in him being more stable but still generally a little shit that no one likes. Harry thinks Albus is his least favorite but is actually by far his favorite because he and Ginny kind of forget their other two kids exist.
James Sirius is sort of remembered as he's the oldest and a boy but Lily Luna is completely forgotten and everyone's sure she's off doing something.

I shudder to ask but... is Prima Nocta Eleazar right about the influence a sire can have on their progeny, via your and Vinelle's worldbuilding? I think you hint at this during Carlisle's breakdown in Leech in the Rain. Is Eleazar the broken clock right twice a day here?
Prima Nocta by me and @therealvinelle
While we really don't know an answer for sure in canon (as characters have theories but we have no proof they're correct or incorrect) it seems as if Eleazar is wrong on this one: venom doesn't do shit besides turn you into a vampire.
We don't see gifts passed down at all through venom, or even vampires being gifted or not gifted through venom (Carlisle turns several, only Edward is gifted, Aro presumably turns a lot, very few are gifted).
We don't see personality traits either for that matter as, again, the ones we see the most of are the Cullens and they don't have anything in common personality-wise with one another.
Add onto that that in canon the vampires themselves don't believe it has anything to do with anything (when it seems like the type of belief people would really latch onto) and it's looking like it's just not the case.
Sire lore just isn't a thing in Twilight.

What do you think Carlisle would do if he realised Bella was a thrall, perhaps in a similar way as he realised the situation with Carlie in one of your fics?
But she's not a thrall in canon, I'm confused. Do you mean an AU when she's a thrall, if so is it the bewitched Dracula's bride kind or that Vikings stole her from her homeland and now she serves the local warlord?
If it's the former then Carlisle tells Edward to cut it out, and Edward denies she's under a thrall. They have a happy, fulfilling relationship. "Bella, do something impulsive," he calls out confidently, only for his confident smile to abruptly disappear when he hears stabbing noises from the kitchen.
If it's the latter then we're looking at an AU where William the Conqueror never defeated Harald Hardråde, and the Viking age continued into the modern day, and... I don't know where any of the Cullens would be. Carlisle, living in a port city in England, likely got killed by plundering Vikings in the 1600's, for one.

so i just did a speedrun through the paranoid bella posts and have to know... would she live if she joined forces w seventh seal hong?
also... what if everything was canon but we had, instead, paranoid renesmee?
Paranoid Bella. The Seventh Seal, narrated by Hong Bellamy, Bella's time traveling sentient gift.
Paranoid Bella and Hong
I mean, she did live. In the original timeline, Paranoid Bella survives, it's just that anons like to see her murdered in new and exciting manners.
In this case, the answer is no.
If we get Hong showing up in the wrong timeline, then while he'd make things no worse he wouldn't make them better, Paranoid Bella wouldn't trust him or Edward and he'd count this as a success.
Otherwise, if its' Paranoid Bella's gift, it never reaches the level of awareness that even Hong has reached as Paranoid Bella doesn't make it work that hard by being as contrary as canon Bella.
Paranoid Renesmee
... You mean from birth she thinks the entire world is out to murder her?
I imagine she tries to run away at some point in early Breaking Dawn. Somehow knocks out Jacob while everyone is busy and books it to the ocean where she splashes her way up or down the coastline.
Given her parent's complete lack of interest in spending any time with their daughter, she'd probably get a pretty good lead.
And then we have Breaking Dawn the, "I swear, there was a baby who wasn't an immortal child, but its disappeared and we have no idea where it is" edition.

What if anyone is Twilight got the Notebook from Death Note?
Anyone's a lot of people.
You'll have to narrow it down.
(But the long and short is you won't see anything like Death Note and it's doubtful the thing works on vampires so most vampires wouldn't have a use for it.)
