I'll be honest I didn't know much about her before 2.8

Or Fischl

But I am in love with their Older/younger sister relationship and will mention it a lot

Also this may involve some Fischl headcanons because when I published her post I hardly knew her

So

Fischl beat down her door to get her to come because of course she did

So Mona's first games were with Fischl, Bennett, and Razor

Despite her water-cloak speed, Mona would make a better Hunter than Rebel

As a Hunter, its kind of like she doesn't take it very seriously at first

She does what she needs to do, finds who she wants to find, and just puts minimal effort in it sometimes

It's no big deal if she loses

Unless

Said rebels are being little shits

Because Mona gets provoked easily

And when she does she gets 100x more serious

She will find and wreck your ass

Honestly though sometimes it's so hard not to mess with her when she's a hunter

Her reactions to bait traps are so fricken funny

Kaeya and Fischl use them so often and Mona is fuming

"AAH! WHICH ONE OF YOU DID THAT?? I SWEAR, I WILL FIND YOU AND I WILL HAVE YOU TAKEN DOWN, MARK MY WORDS"

But it happens so often

And honestly she usually does get said asshole rebel for it

She actually only uses her water cloak in emergencies, like when the Rebel is riiight there and she needs a boost

Games with people like Noelle, Sucrose, and Barbara she likes a lot because they aren't so bent on teasing her

Games with people like Fischl, Kaeya, and Lisa, she will go apeshit

That's basically how she is

She'd use teasing only sometimes, and usually as a close-to-last resort

And only on people she'd know well/ knows they'll react

So only really Fischl, Bennett, Razor, Noelle, Klee, and Aether

But she's good at it

Because even if she's never tickled you before she can just see your spots

But anyway

Hunter Mona

Now for Rebel Mona

She's quite decent

Chooses decent spots

Uses her skills to her best advantage

She's your average Rebel

Although very weak to teasing

She'll tease as a hunter

But she's one of those people who are the epitome of "cant take what you dish out"

Like she'll be idk a fucking lantern and then hunter starts teasing and she goes bright red

Also v ticklish so that's just an excellent plus

And and and it's fun to scare her when she doesn't see you coming

Lmfao I'm so sorry Mona

Like as a hunter, she'd only use her water cloak in emergencies, like when being pursued and having to make a quick getaway

The dreaded anticipation box is her worst nightmare

You know what I'm talking about

Rosaria's used that on her a few times

She died each and everytime

Her favorite people to play with would be Fischl (surprising but not surprising), Bennett, Razor, Klee, Sucrose, Noelle, Kazuha, Xinyan, and travelers

She has such a grudge against him for teasing her all the time, both as a hunter, and a Rebel

Mona doesn't mind him at all, but he's just such a bitch

But he is also easier to get back too, numbers can't count how many times she's wrecked this boy

She heard about it but hadn't really thought to play it

But when Beidou and Kazuha invite her to do it then it's just

She's equally decent at both hunter and rebel positions

Maybe a sliiightly better hunter

And she got the hand of it quickly too

As a Hunter, she mainly looks for any kinds of movements or changes in the area from before

I feel like she's got good eyes, so she's good at catching flinches and shit

And she's also probably got good instincts on where they are

Like Gorou and Yun Jin (and Heizou now that I think about it)

But the geos have good intuition on hiding spots as hunters new hc

But anyway

She's tall

So she's pretty fast

She can be outrun though, if you're someone like Beidou or Keqing

Rarely ever uses her vision

She'd only use it a little if she's running out of time and determined to win

As in

Someone (Beidou and Kazuha) provoked her

Mainly Beidou but Kazuha's just along for the ride

Or Keqing too

Probably not Ganyu bc she's a sweetheart but Keqings a little rebellious sometimes lmao

She'd materialize a little stone and make them trip😭

Also a fan of the dreaded anticipation box

She can be very evil

She'll tease you if she knows you good

Aka Beidou, Kazuha, Travelers, Ganyu, and Keqing

And boy, does she know how, too

Has fricken killed Ganyu and Aether before

Ok Rebel Headcanons

She is also good!

She's one of the taller people, so of course she'd have to be fast

Clever lady

Good hiding spots

She occasionally uses the bait trap to trick the hunter, only if she's sure it'll be entertaining

pls I'm gonna be mentioning Beidou so much here (so what if I ship beigguang)

But yea if it's Beidou or someone who's usually more confident then she often uses bait trap

And especially often whenever it's just them two

It'll pop and Beidou's just "Ohhhh you-" but playfully

And Ningguang can't say that she doesn't feel a little giddy from hearing that

I feel like she isn't very ticklish, and people like Ganyu, Hu tao, Traveler, and Kazuha know

Maybe Yelan

Ningguang doesn't find them knowing very embarrassing

But nobody really tries to tickle her if they find her bc they think shes not gonna react much and just get them back (esp Kazuha and Ganyu)

But when it's just her and Beidou

Beidou knows her spots very well so it leads to very fun endings to the game

Ah shit I got sidetracked

Favorite people to play with would be Beidou (if that was not made clear by my ramblings), Ganyu, Keqing, Kazuha, Yanfei, Chongyun, Shenhe, and Yun Jin

Not because her abilities are lacking at all, it's just her own head and personality

A better Hunter than a Rebel, though she has her good and bad moments in both positions

As a Rebel

She tries her best

That's the best I can describe it

She can pick out decent hiding spots

She would prefer to be somewhere that's more hidden rather than trying to blend in, because she most likely wouldn't be able handle it if the hunter were to be right in front of her

Teasing gets her too fricken bad

She'd be blushing a lot and noticeably shifting around lmao

And CHASING omfg

Way more likely to stumble or smth and accidentally get herself caught

This poor girl

Cannot handle anticipation

Anticipation box destroys all but especially her

Usually when teasing starts she'd make a few attempts to move her spot as well

The only times she really pushes herself to win are times when she's the last rebel standing (somehow) and someone from the captured rebels says "win for us!"

And then she just. Gets her head in the game

Gets so much faster

So much better at taking teases

So if she's gonna win as a Rebel it's most likely gonna be like this

Pls I'm sorry Noelle because of my ler mood you must suffer

For Hunter

Mmmghsfh

A little better because she doesn't have to worry about anyone finding her

Rather, it's her finding them

She does her best in looking around, and tends to make note of certain spots to check for any differences later

Does her best to be thorough in checking the area

And she does a pretty good job

If the hunter's an asshole (Kaeya, Lumine) they'd be much more likely to use the bait trick on her

Gets her every time

And then after it pops whoever did her in gets hit on the arm by Albedo/Amber or anyone else with sympathy who's on the Rebel team

Prone to getting scared once she finds someone

If they jump out like "BAH" then she's done

Cannot tease well to save her life

She's made attempts before though

They'd only really work on Chongyun and maybe Bennett, possibly Aether

But only possibly, cause while he's insanely ticklish and prone to teasing he may also be giggling at her poor attempts cause he's a shit like that

Her favorite people to play with would be Jean, Aether & Lumine, Barbara, Klee, Bennett, Sucrose (most of the knights), and Yanfei

It's obvious who wins but he's still be so nice but so mischievous and he'd scare her and everything but go easy on her at the same time

He'd be a menace but a sweet one

But yes I think people sometimes even playfully scold Kaeya for being such a meanie to Noelle but she doesn't mind him much

I can guess she's not very good at the game considering the fact that she's a zombie with a very poor memory

So yeah no exact strategy

However, in most of the games she's played, she ended up winning

Because sometimes

People are absolute softies and let her

Not really better at being a hunter or a rebel

Maybe better Rebel because for her, the task of "hiding" is easier than "finding", where she would most likely be alone

But as a rebel

Just hides

No strategy

She just hides

Sometimes without even a disguise

She'd just squat in a bush

It rarely genuinely fools people, but they let her be anyway

To make her happy

Even if she were to lose she wouldn't be upset or anything she'd just be "oh. aw."

Teasing doesn't work on her

I feel like she wouldn't be as ticklish anymore and forgets the feeling often so it doesn't bug her

Also half the time she can't understand what they mean

I mean that's a plus she has on most of the Genshin cast lmao

Anticipation box doesn't do much either, she's just "oh no I'm in trap"

And most of the time the hunter would let her win anyway bc they soft

Even when the hunter is Xiao

If there's a few people in the game then he's gotta do Qiqi in bc he has a reputation to uphold as an undefeated hunter

But if it's just him and Qiqi he'll let her win

Because come on

How can he if he doesn't have to

As a hunter

Also no strategy

Just tries her best tapping random things

If someone's being obvious about being there then she's probably gonna notice however

Not very good at chases

Short legs = disadvantage (minus Sayu)

The rebels often let her catch them still

They want her to have fun and if they make it too hard for her it would be sad 😞

I mean she's not gonna get upset but still

Sometimes she gets distracted too

She'd just start climbing random trees or walking around

Because she forgets what she's doing

And sometimes a Rebel would have to make themselves obvious for Qiqi to get her head back in the game

Thoma has willingly sacrificed himself many times for this cause

Not a teaser, it just doesn't affect her much

Also not a tickler, unless another Rebel tells her to when she's got someone

Pierro: he’s so bad at it. He always gets caught as a rebel, and he doesn’t know how to work the controls as a hunter. Certified old man moment lmao

Capitano: bad at being a rebel, shockingly good at being a hunter. Mf will capture people SO fast. Nobody lasts more than a minute, so everyone hates playing with him.

Dottore: he doesn’t like playing, but he loves watching people play. He calls it a “social experiment.” If he’s forced to play, he makes a great rebel. The only one who can catch him is Scaramouche.

Columbina: the best rebel by far. Literally nobody can catch her. Surprisingly good at being a hunter too. She won her first game as hunter so fast 😭😭😭 everyone is scared to get her as hunter.

Arlecchino: HATES playing. She thinks it’s “childish.” She’ll play if forced tho, and she usually does pretty well as hunter and rebel. She hates playing with Childe tho, and tries her damn hardest to make him lose no matter what. She fails.

Pulcinella: another certified old man. People let him win as a hunter sometimes, just to make him feel better. He knows this, and he sends them on really shitty missions as punishment. No mercy :)

Scaramouche: has to be forced to play, but he will do everything in his power to piss people off when he does play. He hides in the stupidest places and always manages to grab the favor first as a rebel, and he targets Dottore and Childe as hunter. Everyone hates him.

Sandrone: oh she ALWAYS targets Childe. She somehow always knows where he is (she cheats). She’s ruthless as a hunter, and while she may not always win, it’s always a struggle to escape her. Not as good at being a rebel tho. She never picks good hiding spots.

Signora: girlie is also a boomer 😭 she doesn’t know how to work the controls, and she refuses to learn. She will stand out in the open as a rebel, but she threatens to burn or freeze whoever dares to come near her. She doesn’t do well as a hunter, but she will manage to capture at least one person without threatening them.

Pantalone: oh he’s shit at it. He’s SO bad 😭😭😭😭. Mf will accidentally let go of his disguise and fall out of wherever he was trying to hide. As a hunter, he’s bad too. He’s such a dumbass. He tries to bribe people into letting him win, but it never works (unless it’s Dottore or Sandrone, they really want research money)

Tartaglia: terrible at being a rebel, but FANTASTIC at being hunter. Like he’s by far the best hunter out of all of them. If cap can get it done in under a minute, nobody lasts longer than 30 seconds for Childe. He looks like a damn maniac playing too, evilly laughing as he mows down all the harbingers. Even if they try their hardest to make him lose, HE WILL WIN.

Windtrace: Kazuha (hunter) x s/o (rebel)

• who are we kidding, this man could find and catch you in a heartbeat

• his hearing far surpasses that of any ordinary person, I’m sure he could hear grass grow if he tried

• not to mention his great familiarity with you, resulting in him being able to recognize and assign the pattern of your breathing and heartbeat to you even when surrounded by a bunch of other people

• it’s like a tune your body plays just for him, tempting him to come and get you already

• but he’s a gentleman and has a playful side to him, so he would at least pretend having to look for you

• and grant you the luxury of catching the other two players first, swiftly getting them out of the way so he can focus solely on you again (doesn’t take him more than 30secs tbh)

• like a predator on the prowl, he quietly sneaks around the area of your hiding spot, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce on you

• it’s not that he needs to be quiet per se, it really doesn’t matter whether you can hear him coming or not, there’s no escape either way

• but he absolutely relishes in the sound of your pounding heart and the smell of your fear and simultaneous excitement, only making his presence known right when he’s passing by your hiding spot from time to time

• he does it just to hear your breath hitch when you sense his proximity

• "Hmm, where might my beautiful angel be hiding?" he coos not even five steps behind you, his amused smile audible in the way he speaks

• *cue the other rebels cringing*

• at one point he manages to trigger your flight response when your body decides he’s gotten too close, activating the short-lived transparency function and slipping away in a desperate attempt to put at least some amount of distance between the two of you in the confines of the small arena

• ofc he hasn’t lost you, but he decides to entertain you for a bit longer, causing you to subconsciously lower your guard for just a second - despite knowing better - as he begins to move in the opposite direction

• so obviously that one moment of relief doesn’t last long, as it is enough to completely lose sight of him

• and before you know it, he’s already snuck to your front and gives you damn near a heart attack when you turn your head again

• he chuckles at your yelp as he quickly but gracefully wraps his arms around your waist in a tight embrace, leaving no space between your bodies

• "Gotcha" the soft-spoken samurai whispers in your ear, his fingertips playfully tickling your sides

• you can’t exactly be mad at him for teasing you like this, you had been fully aware you were a lousy player compared to your lover when you suggested playing this game with him

In this group: Arataki Itto, Barbara, Beidou, and Bennett

Oh boy

Ohhhh boy

He was introduced to windtrace through the Travelers, and really wanted to try it

He loves games like Hide and Seek, so he was super pumped for this

Sakoku decree is over yayyy

People can travel yayyy

I'm just trying to make some sort of sense for Inazumans in Mondstadt

His first game consisted of Aether, Lumine, Himself, and Thoma, with Him as the Hunter

He played several rounds with just about anyone he knows after that

He's a better Hunter than a Rebel, but doesn't mean he isn't naturally great at that too

As a Hunter, watch out

He will find you

And he will wreck you

He can scan the area pretty well, but his favorite and most used way to find a Rebel is to try making them laugh or make some kind of noise

That sounded a little spicy, these are not spicy headcanons

Common things he'll do is joke around, start trying to scare random things thinking it's a person, and of course tease whoever may be around

"BOO! Aw, guess that ones not you..how about HERE! Nope..."

"I'm gonna getcha~!"

"The tickle-oni's coming for youuu!"

You make even the slightest sound and he's fucking bolting straight at you

It's literally the scariest thing ever

He is Kazuha and Thoma's worst nightmare

Such a tickle monster when it comes to this

Rip Aether, Kazuha, Thoma, Gorou, and Yoimiya

He's caught almost everyone at least once before (Including Liyue people!) It's not uncommon for people from different regions to play together here

There's only one person he never and could never catch

And that is Sayu, literally a professional ninja who specializes in being sneaky

Damn this is getting long, I gotta talk about Rebel now

As a rebel, he always picks a good hiding spot and disguise

He's won countless games of hide and seek before, don't take this guy lightly

He used his power-ups to the best of his ability when trying to hide

Sometimes, if he knows he's about to get caught, at the last second he'll come out of his disguise and scare said Hunter by yelling "BAAH"

Still knowing he'll be caught

Yoimiya has fallen victim to this too many times

One time he even managed to get away from her after scaring her

He's just so good you know

He mainly loves playing with the travelers, and his Inazuman people (Ayaka, Thoma, Kazuha, Gorou, Yoimiya, and Sayu)

Lowkey likes playing with Kujou Sara and even Ei sometimes

He challenges Sara a lot as like a "rematch"

He usually loses, but he's definitely got a few wins against her

Barbara

She's not that great at it lmao

BUT she still loves it!

She's better as being a Rebel than a Hunter, because she dosen't have to do much

As a rebel, she usually pick a hiding spot in which would blend in with the setup around her

I feel like Barbara's the type of person to stay in one spot, and make some bold moves if the Hunter gets too close

Like if she knows the Hunter figured out where she is and is coming for her, she'd use the power-up where you go invisible for a few seconds to get away

It's worked a few times for her, but usually the Hunter can hear her giggling about it after she hides

Speaking of laughing, after she gets caught, she'd be non-stop giggling (even without tickling) because she's just having so much fun! Even if she did just lose lmao

As a Hunter, she's not completely awful, but she's not the best at it

She's trying her best though!

She isn't good at spotting movement very well, but she's got good ears

So a little like Itto, she'll try getting people to make a noise as her main tactic

Which includes teasing, if she knows the person well enough

Which she probably will, with her status and all of her fans, she may not feel comfortable playing with just anyone

So whoever she does play with, she's comfortable

And probably comfortable enough to tickle them once she finds them, if she manages to

Some people she loves playing with are Jean especially, Klee, Diona, Noelle, Bennett, Fischl, Sucrose, Amber, and Traveler!

But she loves playing with a lot of people

She really likes meeting and playing with people from different regions too!

She loves Xinyan and Yun Jin, exploring other types of music is fascinating!

Also because she loves their personalities too lol

She really likes Chongyun, Xingqiu, and Xiangling as well!

And of course Thoma, Ayaka, and Yoimiya when they came to see Mondstadt

Just let me have my crossovers

Out of everyone she's played with, the person she catches the most would be either Sucrose or Chongyun,

Probably Chongyun but who knows

She plays the most with Jean, however, because she's always working, and Barbara gets worried for her often

So what better way to destress than a game of hide and seek with your little sister and some of your friends?

Actually in the real world that's not very true but it is here so just go with it

In conclusion, Barbara isn't very good at windtrace but is super caring and still has a lot of fun!

Beidou

Beidou my second Queen (after Amber)

She's heard about Windtrace from whenever she sailed to Mondstadt for trading a few times, but never had the time to play

She does now

And she's a natural

A naturally skilled Rebel, and even better Hunter

When she went to Mondstadt, she happened to be giving Xiangling a lift as well as to get the trade stuff done, and figured she join her to play a few rounds

Beidou, Xiangling, and the Two Travelers played for a while, and both Beidou and Xiangling learned how skilled they were

Beidou's really good, she found out

As a Hunter, she's literally almost like a female version of Itto

I feel like she's such a big tickle monster when it comes to this

She definitely uses her senses when it comes to finding people, but often resorts to teasing them into laughing or making a sound

Just like Itto

Will wreck anyone she finds

Just like Itto

ESPECIALLY Traveler and Kazuha

Just like Itt-

Such a big sister figure to everyone

Just lik-

Lmao sorry

But yeah even Xiao likes playing with her

And may or may not see her as the kind of older sister figure she is to lots of people

Despite him being a couple thousand years older lmao

Everyone loves Beidou

As a rebel, she's also pretty good

Choosing her hiding spots and disguises very carefully, Beidou can be pretty tough to catch

Not saying it's impossible however

Shenhe's managed to catch her a few times

As well as Kazuha

And Ningguang

But she's still really good

Her favorite people to play with are:

There's a lot of people I can't list everyone by name

But probably the Liyue kids (Chongyun, Qiqi, Yun Jin,), Liyue Adults (Zhongli, Shenhe,) Liyue Adepti (Ganyu, Xiao) Liyue people in general, Kazuha ofc, Thoma, A whole lot of the Mondstadt people, Travelers,

I cant list everyone there's too many

She loves the game and loves a lot of people

She would be so fun to play with I can't stress this enough

EAH

He has so much fun he loves it

His awful luck messes him up at times (a lot), but other than that he'd be pretty darn good!

Makes a better Hunter than a Rebel, mainly due to his luck giving away his position lmao

As a Hunter, he's definitely good at it

He's not the best, but he has his fair share of wins and loses

Not really the kind of person to tease, because honestly he'd probably just get himself flustered more than the Rebel lmao

He has tried it before, when playing a 1v1 round with Amber

They are two of the most ticklish people in Teyvat, so teasing makes them both flustered, but Amber manages to stay quieter

He tried teasing her by saying "When I catch you I'm gonna tickle you~" totally not something she's done to him before but it came out like:

"When I find you, I'm gonna t-ti-...tic...tckl you!"

Save him

Mf actually managed to get Amber giggling at him, not because of the actual teasing, but the sad attempt to

Even though she lost that round, she still finds it hilarious

As a rebel, he would be pretty good if not for his luck

Being a good strategist comes with being an adventurer, and he tries his best to put that to use

Sometimes as soon as the Hunter gets free something would fall on top of Bennett, make him say "ow", and he'll fall out of his disguise

The Hunter can hear him like "UHHH"

Sometimes if they're nice, (Eula, Razor, Aether, Diluc) they'll be like "You need a moment there?"

"U-uhh, yeah! Sorry-"

"Take your time"

I find that so fckn funny

But if the Hunter isn't so nice (Kaeya, Albedo, Lumine, Sucrose surprisingly)

They're gonna dash for him

And he is gonna get his shit wrecked

Maybe not Sucrose, but I feel like she def has it in her

Teasing works so well on him omfg

His face would get bright red and he would start verbally keysmashing

Hhh I love him so much

His favorite people to play with are Razor and Fischl, and they've played countless games together

He plays with the Dragonspine gang (shadows amidst snowstorms) sometimes too

He loves it

It's so fun

10/10 as a Rebels, it runs so fast tf?! Also loves to annoy the hell out of you, doesn't even try to hide he would just run once you spotted him.

8/10 as a hunter, I actually learned from them as a hunter, they are pretty good and most of them fulfill the tasks.

Albedo

7/10 as a rebels, very good at hiding, some of the disguised as Diluc's maids in his mansion but I think they are the 2nd who got caugh.

5/10 pretty bad at being a hunter, and small legs cant even chase me. I bet all Albedo user as a hunter is so mad at Childe and Kaeya.

Diluc

They are pretty scary omce the location is Diluc's house!! From being a rebel to also being a hunter.

Venti

10/10 absolutely menace in every place, in every role y'all takes.

Diona, Sayu, Klee, Qiqi

6/10 as rebels because they always hide somewhere in high place. And it's easy for them yo locate, but may I asks why tho.

4/10 as hunters, If Albedo can't chase me, what more if it's children?

7/10 as rabels, they sometimes hide in the most obvious place.

10/10 absolutely menace as a hunter, she's so scary. Like pls mam calm down!!

Nosaichi Playing Windtrace Headcanons 🍃 🦝

A round where they"re both rebels and are able to use "The General" as a secret favor skill! They'd drive the hunter absolutely crazy by dodging each attempted capture along with their 3rd teammate

When one of them is the hunter and the other was a rebel - They'd either go after each other first or leave them for last!

Ichihoshi (the rebel) would be the lil hot shot who would go after the favor to insure his teammates victory and just barely escape being captured by turning invisible while sprinting away with his prize.

Nosaka (the rebel) would let Ichihoshi (the hunter) obtain the favor on purpose but then hide on top of the tallest trees, jumping to different ones whenever Ichihoshi gets too close before laying down a trap to run off in a direction Ichihoshi can't see. ((And yes he'd try to blend in with nature again)).

On the last few days of playing they'd probably goof around a bit with Nosaka casually sitting in chairs or walking around open areas while the hunter runs past each time (oblivious to Nosaka's presence before catching on after some struggling to find him).

Instead of hiding in plain sight, Ichihoshi would mess around with the hunter before the round could even start by jumping up & down in front of the barrier in front of them. Depending on the hunter is he'd either be captured as soon as the barrier went down or befriend them & hop around for the entire round.

By the time windtrace is gone they'd come up with a new game of hide-and-seek in their teapots or just in the world around them.

i was playing windtrace and got captured by a kazuha main rly fast (whole team down in ~60 sec). then, i was hunter and got everyone within 2 minutes. if you were on na server and got captured by a shenhe named genya, sorry lmao

OH BUT FUNNY STORY today i got the kamisato estate map and i climbed up to the roof with zhongli, and later on when the hunter used their power we found out there was an albedo on the roof too LOL and the hunter (beidou) couldn't get up i guess so they sent 'cobardes' in the chat and i googled it and they were calling us cowards LOL

my apologies to the beidou who had to play with us but it was so funny LMAO
