i was ranting to my friend who doesn’t play genshin earlier because everybody else is fed up with me spouting nonsense about genshin meta but he finds it interesting when we both realized he doesn’t know what half the shit i say means.

so yk what i did?

i started writing a document on the basics of genshin, and terminology often used!!

so if anybody is interested let me know ig, its not proofread or anything and some stuff is sorta worded weird but it works!

i was farming for hu tao (trying to get her to 90!!) yesterday, and so yk had to fight pyro regisvine,,,

since i was using childe and he wasn’t doing too well on his own i switched around half my hu tao build to xiangling and then put half my sucrose build on her (2pc wanderers 2pc crimson).

childe crit 90k.

Yanno what, I'm gonna say it.

It really annoys me how soft and clueless the fandom makes Zhongli out to be sometimes; whether in romantic relationships or otherwise. Yes, he's a kind person. Yes, he's calm and collected most of the time. But that's only most of the time, and even a saint's patience runs out. Zhongli literally tells Aether if Childe causes any trouble he'll "take care of him", he can BARELY stand Hu Tao, he beat up that Fatui dude in his quest when he got mad at him, and during the war he was pretty violent (he's still unlearning that. he's still learning how to be gentle and how to integrate into society now that he's not an Archon) .

Zhongli will throw hands in literally seconds you try that man if you want to you'll be in the dirt. Does this look like the face of a soft man to you?

He's not dumb, either. He was literally two steps ahead of everybody in the Archon quest and Childe had no idea that he was being duped until Zhongli revealed that he was the one behind the big plan; Zhongli is very calculating and analytical. He thinks in terms of results; only issue is it seems he's not the best at analyzing long-term results (like his financial situation); but even that can be chalked up to trying to adjust to human life. Zhongli is not stupid whatsoever. There are things he may not quite understand, sure, but he is a VERY intelligent man and I am tired of y'all dumbing him down!

He doesn't seem the best emotionally wise either like ..did he stop to think about how his "death" would affect the other adepti emotionally...??? Mmm probably not- but again, that's just poor social skill, he's not dumb, ya feel me? He's just got a lot to learn.

seriously considering writing some fics for genshin but i’m not sure what i want to write about :/

the genshin community is being so toxic rn in response to George (notfound) playing for a *sponsership* and the mcyt fandom “finding” genshin.

tell the people who are saying fucked up things to not and educate them. all of whatever genhin tiktok is doing rn isn’t necessary. 

on top of that a lot of people who watch mcyt already play genshin, myself included!

of course this is all my opinion, though i’d love to hear others thoughts on the matter
