Here I am, alongside Vinit’s #shadow when he kindly gave me my #firstlesson in riding a #motorbike with gears, which we borrowed from his cousin. You could hardly ask for a better location than the vast #desertplains of the #thardesert on the road toward the #samsanddunes as we drove #west toward the #settingsun They say you #cantteachanolddognewtricks so I figure that either that’s not true or I’m not yet old. Vinit is an #excellentteacher and was very patient with my initial lack of #coordination . The idea of changing gears on a #bike has always freaked me out a bit and #thisexperience has, to a great extent, put that fear to rest.
