MULTIVERSE MADNESS !! -- WILSHIRE EVENT #006

what happens when worlds collide? when a person from a universe where superheroes are commonplace ends up smack in the middle of a universe where they're nothing but fiction? when someone from a place where magic doesn't exist ends up in a place where it's all around them? when someone from a utopian world ends up in the middle of a world still plagued with crime and hatred? well, sit back and hold on, because we're about to find out.

this event will be completely and totally au, meaning that nothing that happens over the next three ( 3 ) days will actually affect your characters. for the duration of the event you’ll be playing a version of your character from an alternate universe that has replaced your character in this world ( we’ll put a list of acceptable alternate universes below for you to choose from <3 ), interacting with one another and the world around them that is likely very different from their own!! maybe someone that is alive here has been dead for years in their world, or vice versa!! maybe they’re a completely different species in the world that they’re from!! be creative and remember to have fun!!

universes !!

superheroes - think marvel & dc, or any comic/movies with superheroes. places where heroes & vigilantes are something that’s pretty normal.

magic-free - pretty simple - a world where magic doesn’t exist

utopian - a world filled with peace, with no war or crime, where everyone works together in harmony.

dystopian - the opposite of the world above. filled with violence & hatred to the point that the world has entered some sort of an apocalyptic situation ( zombies, nuclear fallout, etc. ).

fairytale - princes, princesses, knights in shining armor. dragons & evil queens. the whole nine yards.

off-kilter - everything’s the same...or is it? characters have different personalities/species, but the world around them is the same.

again!! this is a 100% au event - not canon AT ALL - you’ll be able to resume normal threads after the event and pick right back up where you left off, as nothing from this event will actually impact your characters!!

you can change your character quite a bit for this! their personality, their species, their backstory - get creative with it <3

if you can’t come up with anything you can always come to the admins!! or you can continue playing your character as they normally are - they still won’t remember any of this.

the event will take place starting january 19th at 1pm est!! please make a post about your character and the universe they’re from ( the changes to your chara, important differences between their world and this one, etc.) before then!! please tag these posts with wilshire:mmau

since i’m extra™ here my phoenix boy and now let me say a few things about his au.

superhero au (mentition of @alistairxhayes, @lunawildthorn, @woefulwails, @leowallvce)

first of all, lukas is a mutant, he used to be good or as good as he could with the kind of powers he got. he never had full control on them, because instead of trying to develop and polish them he always tried to suppress them, which wasn’t a good idea. because whenever he ended up losing control he destoryed or killed more than he should have. thing is, as much as he felt guilty about it afterward there was always that other part of himself thriving on it, on the chaos. he slowly started slipping, giving more control to the phoenix the more things happened, fueling his need to burn. starting from his first meeting with kali which left him having to reconstruct part of himself but at least she would never bother him ever again; going through the time alistair and his crew tried to experiment on him to reach the breaking point when after losing control he accidently disembodied leo, that alongside luna where his family, his whole world. and that did the trick making him give in. humanity? what is that? he just want to see the world burn.

this was literally written on the spot so i have zero clue what i’m writing about so... yeah. i tried.

leigh has always been duty and family orientated so this au version has just chucked all that shit in the bin. they all have powers, but she dun care about them and 8 months ago she killed her parents and her brother - she wants to be the only one and was hella jealous of them.

supervillains au ft. @lcganm , @leowallvce , @ashbornxsebastian & @hclfblccd . tessa was a superhero with kryptonian powers, but luca’s death turned her into a villain ( sebastian’s bad influence caused her to become a villain as well. he’s like the evil version of superman, but instead of cousins, they’re biological siblings. - tessa was adopted into the wallace family. )       she’s now in a relationship with logan, another villain who had similar struggles as her. plus, she’s ready to kill her brother, leo     who happens to be a superhero.

Orion Meade: Multiverse Madness

             ↳ Dystopian/Zombie AU

Orion has been on his own for almost a year and half before the outbreak even began, both of his parents passed almost two years due to a car accident when he was sixteen. He’s used to surviving on his own due to this, but once the dead started to rise, he knew that it was more than just surviving because now it was a matter of life and death. It’s been about five years since the outbreak, and everyday that passes Orion can feel what’s left of his humanity fading away.

so i figured that i should give everyone some more detailed info on what’s going on with each of my characters in their au worlds so here it is! i am absolutely still open for plotting however so don’t hesitate to lmk if you’re interested in having a character join one of mine in their alternate world~

ben - dystopian / zombie apocalypse au. ben’s pack is a survivor group of which he is the leader and @ofluisa is his best friend & second - in - command. he regularly steals food and supplies from the wealthy wallace family because they refused their aide despite having an overabundance of resources. his group of survivors are people he’s come to love as family ( especially anna, luisa, and sam ) and he won’t just sit back and allow them to suffer. he’s friendly with alistair, who is the leader of a different survivor group. despite this, they usually choose to work together, especially when it comes to stealing from the wallace family. also cassie is his girlfriend which is NICE AMIRITE

quill - fairytale au. quill was a prince, but being that he was the younger brother of leo, that made him second in line for the throne and second in line to marry @valiiants, who he’d fallen deeply in love with. elena returned his feelings and so the two hatched a plan to kill leo, but it didn’t go as planned and leo wound up killing quill and trying to marry elena but that didn’t work out so great for him. the last thing quill remembers is his brother murdering him, so needless to say he’s gonna be hella confused to wake up in this alternate world totally fine and whatnot.

vander - magic - free au. vander is an artist living in a not perfect but non - supernatural world alongside his muse and fiancée, @hcvenbcrn. he’s close friends with @ofandreas, who he suspects is involved in shady, possibly illegal business and who he subsequently worries about a great deal despite her assurances that he needn’t be so concerned about her. turns out she is involved in highly illegal activities, but keeps vander in the dark about it in order to protect him.

auden -  dystopian / zombie apocalypse au. surviving alongside his close ( albeit occasionally exasperating ) friend, @lupinecursed. auden’s definitely not a fan of the zombie apocalypse, he’s too soft and shy for it, so who knows? he might just thrive here in this non - zombie situation.

a couple of my chars are relevant in some other character’s aus, but i didn’t wanna go too much into detail about that and potentially make things too complicated. feel free to ask if you’re curious, though. i’m super excited for all the angst and fun!

HELLO LET’S TALK ABOUT MY PLOTS FOR THE EVENT.

alex and sam has none atm so please let me know if you’d like to do something w them !! tessa: she’s a super villain who used to be a superhero. she was a team with luca and they were together, but, luca died in a horrible way - which, caused her to become a super villain. (also i’ll say that she has supergirl’s powers and is a kryptonian BECAUSE I CAN THANK YOU VERY MUCH) same thing happened with logan, too - he lost luna, which caused him to become a super villain. that’s how logan & tessa bonded and started a relationship. (probably a toxic one) sO YEP SINCE TESSA & LUCA IS HAPPILY MARRIED IN LUCA’S UNIVERSE THINGS ARE GOING TO GET REAL MESSY also, leo is a superhero so he has a bucky/steve (platonic au) type of relationship with tessa. luna: she’s from the fairytale universe - she’s a rebellious princess who ran away and got married with the love of her life, logan, BUT lukas, her brother (who’s probably the king?? idk) killed logan right in front of luna’s eyes. she hates lukas with every fiber of her being because of that aND IMAGINE WHEN SHE SEES HIM! AND IMAGINE WHEN SHE SEES HER PURE, SWEET LOGAN ALIVE BUT AS A SUPER VILLAIN! A MESS!!!! ok that’s all i’m always willing to plot & add more things to tessa & luna’s plots so come to me pls!!! i’ll edit this post & reblog it whenever i update it so you guys will know <3

lilian wallace thought she had it all - and maybe she did. she’d raised elena from the time she was still a toddler, thrilled to see her grown into a beautiful and vibrant young woman. she had a loving husband, had planned to spend the next several decades next to leo. they had a baby on the way, and a beautiful home to raise their family in. and then her perfect life shattered. first it was leo - a long forgotten enemy resurfaced, determined to take everything from the man. if not for a neighbor hearing the commotion they would have succeeded. instead, only leo lost his life without ever meeting his child. then it was alex and sera - the two had found happiness in each other, and in a final leap they were both standing at the alter. the attack blindsided everyone, and the two had been cut down before they’d even managed to exchange their vows. and then it was august - lily watched as her dearest friend threw himself into harms way to save the man he loved, and no matter how hard she tried she couldn’t fix him. that was the last time she saw alistair. and then, when she had lost everyone but her girls, life decided to cut her some slack. the neighbor that had saved her started showing up at random times - sometimes with food, sometimes with a bottle of something strong, sometimes just with the offering of someone to lean on. before she knew it she was falling in love and her daughter was calling him dad.

GRACE; superheroes - ft. @aricdnex abandoned by her mother who believed her powerless, grace practically raised herself and learned her own strength. now, more powerful than ever, she will be the hero she was born to be and stop her mother. 

HELENA; magic-free - ft. @vcnder where helena, the singer, and vander, the artist, are each others muses (seriously what fluff is this)

LUCA; utopian - an ordinary mundane luca is married to his childhood best friend tessa and lives a simple, happy family existence. he owns a bakery and would not know how to throw a punch if asked.

ADRIANA; dystopian - after the zombie apocalypse, a single mother had to learn how to survive and protect her young son. she’s a badass with an axe and takes care of anyone she comes across.

CASSANDRA; fairytale - a scottish princess, straight out of brave, cassie is a fearless warrior that cares very little for her parents endless stream of suitors seeking to marry her.

LORELAI; off-kilter - lorelai is a shadowhunter who’s mother and younger brother were killed by a rogue werewolf. she cares little about hiding her hatred for downworlders and will do everything she can to see these bonds fail.

the jazz age seemed like it’d never end - from the 20s to the 30s and all the way into the new century - and that was just fine as far as rhiannon was concerned. with legs that ran on for miles and a voice that made all the little birds jealous, the flapper of the wilshire den had everything a girl could ask for...at least on the surface. the glitziest jewels and the most glamorous dresses came with a heavy price. the man she worked for ran with the local gangs - or maybe it was more like he just ran the gangs - and a fella didn’t get to the top of the ladder by playin’ nice. rhiannon learned real quick that it was best to bite her tongue and do as she was told when he and his buddies came around - especially since his gift of the sight had given him special insight into what exactly she was. she may have the voice of a canary, but the threat of an iron cage held a whole new meaning with this pretty bird.

multiverse madness ---- superhero au: captain america england.

     leonard wallace was a regular citizen who was later turned into the super-soldier and became the leader of the world-wide known SUPERHERO team. but just like any other superhero, he had suffered a lot; his wife dying in the hands of his worst enemy, losing friends and allies during battles... but nothing could make him lose faith in humanity & life. aside from fighting villains and saving the world, his life was as normal as a super soldier’s could be, until he found himself surrounded by people who he knew but also now he can not recognize them nor understand why they’re acting the way they do. the only person he feels like he can trust is his teammate, ALEX, who seems to be normal and just as confused about all this.

multiverse madness ---- fairytale au: princess elena. 

     sent to a kingdom miles and miles away from home, the princess was nervous, angry & bitter. not only because she was forcibly separated from everyone and everything she loved, but also she was to marry someone she didn’t know -- someone she didn’t L O V E. oh, how the tables turned, soon enoıgh she found herself falling for the younger brother of the crown prince; “ terrible, terrible thing ! ” said her nurse. and she was right, the princess was meant to get married to the one who was to become the KING, and everyone knew prince leonard would be the one to sit on the throne soon ! but the two lovers weren’t giving up easy, they were no fighters, but they would fight for what they found in each other - love. plans were made, leonard had to die. but as always, life had different plans for the young lovers and it was the younger brother’s blood that spilled on the marble tiles instead, elena’s screams echoing in the cold walls of the castle. the elder brother didn’t only find out about their plans, but also made sure the last thing that his brother would see to be him announcing his impending marriage to the princess, dragging her out just before her lover closed his eyes for the last time. full of rage and sorrow, all the princess had in mind was REVENGE. screw the cold dish, she wanted it immediately -- she wouldn’t spend a minute as his wife, she’d rather DIE than to accept her fate and forget what he did to quill. not long after his brother ( a week later, to be correct ) came the fall of the elder prince, on his wedding night. as soon as the man stepped foot into the grand bedroom, his own sword pierced through his chest, repeatedly. covered in blood and a sobbing mess, the princess was found the next morning, thrown into dungeons to await her trial, which would eventually get her executed. a glitch in the universe and now -- the day before she was to be hung in the city square -- the princess steps into a whole different world; broken, confused and scared.
