Hullo! You know how I said in the last post that the nest TEoS thing I would be doing is some refs for the Robotnik Empire characters? That's still happening, but in a bit of brainrot, I first refurbished the Dark Arm refs and also made refs for the new ones too!
So please, enjoy those

And not just that, but I also made disguise forms for them! You can see those under the cut

Whisper woke up, chained to a wall. She looked up and saw a window. It was too high up for her to potentially escape, but at least she could tell from it that some time had passed, with it not raining anymore, and the little bit of sky she could get from the view was blue and nearly cloudless. Whisper started thinking. Thinking about how she could possibly escape, and let the world know that Wilma is indeed guilty. Before she could get any real ideas from those thoughts, let alone act upon any of them, she heard the sound of talking above her.
"Yeah, it broke down… They're walking back on foot now." Wilma said, sounding upset.
"If you want me to go get them for you, I'll do it as soon as you say the words!!" Clysdale responded without hesitation.
"Are… are you sure?" Wilma asked, seeming concerned.
"Of course! Anything for you!" Clysdale answered.
"Hmm… Alright, go get em for me. I'll go check on Whisper." Wilma told them.
“You…” Whisper snarled as she heard Wilma walk down the stairs, the lights flicked on, confirming what Whisper already knew.
“Ah, glad to see you awake." Wilma said, smirking slightly.
"I'm going to ask you again. What. Did. You. Do. To. Those. Men?!" Whisper asked Wilma with clear fury in her voice.
"Hmph, aren't you nosy…?" Wilma pouted "You really wanna know, kid? Ya really wanna fuckin know?! I killed them! Murdered them! As simple as that!"
Whisper had heard Lux and Tangle say a lot that they thought that's what was going on, but hearing it outright from the woman herself made her shocked and flat out unable to speak. "It's only fair! I've lost the love of my life, and now the rest of you get to suffer the same pain!" Wilma continued, becoming angrier and more emotional.
"Fair? FAIR?! HOW THE FUCK IS THAT FAIR?!" Whisper finally shouted out.
"THEY TOOK MY HUSBAND AWAY FROM ME SO NOW I TAKE AWAY THE SONS, FATHERS, BOYFRIENDS AND HUSBANDS OF THE WORLD AWAY FROM THEM!!" Wilma shouted back.
"AND YOU THINK YOUR HUSBAND WOULD APPROVE OF SUCH A CRUEL THING?!" Whisper argued.
"YES. HE WOULD!" Wilma yelled in response.
"WELL MAYBE YOUR HUSBAND WAS A PIECE OF SHIT THEN!"
A dreadful silence quickly filled the room as Wilma looked like it was ready to kill Whisper right then and there. The silence was then broken by the sound of soft whimpering. Whisper looked over and saw the young fox girl from earlier, Dr. Clysdale’s daughter. She didn't notice before that she was there. Whisper's eyes gazed by the notebook the girl was holding and saw what seemed to be a blueprint of sorts for a megaphone, but the girl quickly pulled the notebook to her chest and out of Whisper’s sight.
"I'm sorry for yelling, sweetie… Let's go upstairs, okay?" Wilma said to the girl softly, pushing away her magenta highlighted bangs ever so slightly. The girl nodded and thus she and Wilma went up the stairs, leaving Whisper alone.
Shortly after, there was a shout from a familiar voice, a voice that gave Whisper hope.
“HEY LUX I THINK I FOUND A WAY IN!!” That hope wasn’t much though. Whisper was glad to know that Tangle and Lux came around to free her, but groaned at the stupid move Tangle just made.
“NOT ON MY WATCH!” The angry voice of Relic followed quickly after.
“Oh you’ve got to be kidding me..” Wilma sighed, annoyed.
Meanwhile, outside the house and clinic, Relic was trying the best she could to chase Lux and Tangle off of the property.
“You can’t go back here! You’re trespassing!!” Relic shouted. Lux pulled on Relic and got a hold onto her, though not for long, as Relic squirmed her way out of Lux’s grasp, and ran after Tangle, forcibly pulling her to the ground as she was getting up the stairs. Tangle, however, managed to pull Relic down with her.
Practically at the moment they both hit the ground, there was a blood curdling cry from Relic that even Whisper and Wilma could clearly hear, followed up by the sound of a cracking bone. Tangle instantly got up, and despite Relic’s involvement in Whisper’s supposed kidnapping, she instantly felt extremely guilty.
“M-M-My arm...!! I-I can’t move m-my arm…!” Relic was crying heavily, and Tangle could tell that her arm looked seriously screwed up. “It hurts!! IT HURTS!!” She screamed in pure agony. Wilma ran outside and went to Relic’s side.
“Get off of our fucking property right this instant before I call the police! Don’t you realize what you idiots have done?!” She yelled at them, tears in her eyes. Tangle ran away from the scene, terrified.
“Holy shit Tangle! What happened back there?!” Lux asked, trying to get her friend to calm down. Tangle didn’t respond, she just kept crying.
Whisper could hear Wilma and Relic from the basement, Relic was still crying very loudly, barely able to speak, while it seemed that Wilma was calling someone on the phone in the room right above where Whisper was. At first, Whisper’s heart dropped as she realized this, as she assumed that she was calling the police on Tangle and Lux.
“Okay, I know you’re coming back the old fashion way as to avoid suspicion, but I really need you three here ASAP, two of those girls came by trying to break in and attack Relic-- I think they broke her arm!” No, it seemed that Wilma was just calling a close friend, most likely Clysdale, with the other two being the "them" Wilma had reluctantly asked Clysdale to fetch for her.
“Yeah, I know that I could drive her to the hospital myself, but she told me she wants you here, and I need someone to look after our captive.” This basically confirmed that theory to Whisper.
“Don’t worry, it's not like she’s alone right now or anything. I’m here, and Garrick and your little ones are being a great help calming her down a bit.” Whisper felt bad for those kids. Garrick, and all four of Clysdale’s kids too. They seem so nice, and yet their parents are so twisted!
“... Where are you, anyhow…? Spiral Hill, eh? I think that’s where those girls are from… Yes, those two out of the four that are investigating my killings, Whisper included… One of them was the big burly tiger girl, the other one was that slim lemur… Lux and Tangle, huh? We should pay them a visit some time, ya know… To pay them a lesson. Don’t you think?... Heheh… Oh absolutely..! But we need to get Relic to the hospital first, at LEAST!” Whisper gulped, hoping that she would be able to escape and rejoin her friends before Wilma and Clysdale decided to “pay them a visit”, per-say.
But for now, it seemed that she just needed to wait things out.
She heard a bit of commotion going on a few minutes later, and could somewhat hear the voice of Doctor Clysdale for a few seconds, but it was too quiet and muffled to understand. The ruckus only lasted for a few seconds, as it seems that they were quite quick about getting Relic to the hospital.
After that… complete silence, other than the occasional sound of whoever stayed behind to make sure Whisper didn’t escape getting something, most likely food.
Eventually, Lux and Tangle made it back to their house, Tangle immediately ran up to her room.
“Hey! Tangle! What’s wro-” Tangle slammed her door on the concerned Jewel. Lux ran up the stairs, and Jewel immediately turned to her. “Lux! What happened?!” Lux explained everything that had happened during their attempt to free Whisper, including Wilma’s threat to call the police, which made Jewel’s heart drop.
“O-Oh… I see…” Lux quietly opened the door to Tangle’s room, and saw her softly sobbing, laying in her bed.
“Hey… Tangle... “ Lux said softly as she made her way to Tangle’s bed. “I know you probably feel pretty guilty-”
“No… That’s not it… Well…” Tangle wiped her eyes. “That’s not my main concern…”
“It’s not? Then what is?” Lux asked. Tangle started to cry again.
“I just want Whisper to be okay!!” Lux hugged Tangle.
“I know, we all do.”
“Um… If you feel up to hearing it… I got some more info while you guys were gone.” Jewel mentioned as she handed Tangle a box of tissues.
“Oh…? What kind of info…?” Tangle asked.
“Yeah Jewel, what’d you find?” Lux was curious as well. Jewel told Lux and Tangle everything that Amy had told her.
“Did she ever follow up on what she was saying??" Tangle asked, worried.
"I haven't checked…" Jewel admitted.
"You should do that. I'll comfort Tangle." Lux told Jewel.
Jewel powered on her computer and then quickly hopped onto Twitter. She noticed a message notification from Amy.
"Oh thank goodness.." She sighed to herself.
She opened up the conversation.
"Sorry for the wait!! A big fight went down in my house and Knuckles forced me into hiding before I could respond. Anyway, about my ex-friend…"
Jewel read the full message, her jaw hanging open.
"Shadow?"
“I actually honestly figured that the person who betrayed Amy would be Shadow.” Tangle butted in, after Jewel told her about Amy’s new message.
“Yeah, they're weird….” Lux said.
“Mhm…. Always thinking they were better than Sonic…" Tangle pouted.
Jewel sighed and giggled a little, which caused Lux and Tangle to look at her.
“Sorry! It’s just that… well, you two are so cute!”
“JEWEL!!” Tangle shouted, embarrassed and blushing.
“Heeey… Hey.. Settle down there Tangle. I mean, you gotta admit, she’s at least half right!” Tangle pouted, but knew that whether she was talking in her own opinion, or for her, Lux had a point. She just didn’t want to say it, especially cause the two had practically just met. Tangle’s known Jewel since they were kids, and she’s known Whisper for two years, meanwhile, she’s only known Lux for a DAY.
“Anyway, anyway.... I have an idea.” Jewel said. “An idea on how to get Whisper free.”

As promised, Lux explained everything to Whisper and Jewel just as she had to Tangle.
“Ya know, I watch the news sometimes, right? I see her a lot there, I always wonder like “How in the world does she keep getting involved in these cases??”, and she never seems to have any evidence tying her to the case other than being that she was the last person seen with all of the victims. She’s TOTALLY guilty!” Jewel rambled.
“We have to do something..! We have to make sure that no one else gets hurt!” Whisper declared, feeling a sense of agency in her words.
“Yeah! We need to go find her and kick her ass!” Tangle butted in, ready for the action to begin.
“Hold on!” Lux interjected, trying to calm Tangle down a bit. “As much as I would love to do that, we gotta save it for if she attacks first, otherwise we’ll be in big trouble! We have to gather evidence first before we do anything drastic!”
“How are we gonna do that?” Jewel asked.
“Find her… and stalk her?” Whisper suggested.
“That’s still not that legal…” Tangle pointed out.
“Fair enough, but what else should we do? It’s legally grey, but we have nothing else.” Lux explained.
“Even with all the chances Wilma’s got, she probably still wants to avoid the police if she can, so I don’t think we need to worry that much about the law, even if she catches us!” Tangle theroized. Everyone nodded in agreement.
“You guys keep talking, let me do a quick background check on Lux.” Jewel said as she walked off to her little office.
“Okay!!” Tangle responded.
“Anyway… I agree that Wilma herself probably won’t call the police on us if she sees us following her… I think… that if we aren’t careful… other people will....” Whisper said.
“Yeah, that’s actually a good point ya got there. Do you know what we could do to prevent that? I mean, you’re the one who brought up the stalking idea in the first place… No pressure of course, though!” Lux asked.
“No no, I get your train of thought…" Whisper responded.
"Hey! I just realized! Why don't we try to see if the Chaotix could help? They're like... experts at this kind of thing, aren't they?" Tangle suggested.
"I tried to get in contact with them before, but they haven't responded…" Lux answered.
"Oh."
"Weird… The Chaotix usually take any kind of money they can get!" Tangle noted.
"I GOT IT!" Whisper suddenly interrupted.
“What is it, Whisp??” Tangle responded quickly. Whisper giggled awkwardly in embarrassment.
“Maybe it’s a silly thought… But, what if we did things while we followed her around, to look more normal…? Like shopping… and stuff…?” She suggested.
“Sounds like a good plan to me!” Lux said excitedly, which made Whisper feel better.
“Agreed! How much money do we have? I know we don’t have to buy something from every shop we go to, but it would also be weird to not buy ANYTHING, despite visiting a lot of shops, right?” Tangle added.
“I think Jewel has a few hundred dollars in her checking… maybe we can ask her for some?” Whisper said.
“I have a 50.” Lux pitched in.
“Hmm?” Jewel got curious, hearing them talk as she came back into the living room.
“Oh! Jewel, can we borrow some cash? 50 bucks, maybe 100?” Tangle asked her.
“What do you need it for?” Jewel responded, confused.
“Oh, well, we’re gonna go find that Wilma chick and keep an eye on her… But we also wanna buy some stuff from some shops around town as we do it, ya know, to not look weird!” Tangle explained in response to Jewel’s question. She paused to think.
“I’ll give you some money… But you have to do something for it.”
“Oh! What is it?” Tangle asked.
“Let me come!!” Jewel demanded. Tangle smiled.
“Of course!”
Jewel grabbed her purse and off the four went once again.
For the first 30 or so minutes, the four just walked aimlessly around downtown, keeping a lookout for the allusive purple fox. Eventually, they caught sight of her, seemingly out to buy some things with its son, named “Garrick”, according to the files on Wilma that Lux had.
“There she is..!” Lux said quietly.
“Man… I feel bad for that kid…” Whisper softly spoke out. Everyone nodded, sharing her sentiment.
They continued to walk, following Wilma and Garrick, but not too closely, as to not be caught. When Wilma stopped in one shop, they went into a different one close by. One store clerk looked at Lux funny, but everyone else seemingly chalked it all up to coincidences. The only time the group of girls followed Wilma into a store was into a games shop. There, Wilma grabbed two games, both M-rated, quite violent from the looks of it. Nothing strange, right? She’ll probably also grab something for Garrick, right?
“You stay right here, Garrick. I don’t wanna deal with the cashier getting onto me again.” She told him quietly. Garrick nodded in response. The girls kept watching, intrigued. Wilma went to the check out, everything transpired as it should, and then Wilma called Garrick over and walked out with him, handing both games to Garrick.
“Thank you so much Mommy!!”
The girls looked at each other, bewildered.
“Oh, by the way, can I help you ladies?” Wilma asked them suddenly. It acted like she just noticed them, but there was a bad vibe; she knew they had been following her.
After that, they decided to retreat back home. They talked over some late lunch.
“Well… Not much was gotten from that..” Whisper lamented.
“I mean, we did get some nice clothes out of it!” Tangle said.
“Yes, but we didn’t really learn much about Wilma… Other than that she’s… a bit of an irresponsible mom.” Lux explained.
“I mean, we aren’t expert detectives or anything..” Jewel sighed.
"If only the Chaotix responded to me, that probably wouldn't have gone so badly..." Lux pouted.
“Well, it is what it is… We just gotta keep trying! I believe in all of us!” Tangle said with pride.
“Tangle’s right. We’ll have to be more sneaky next time. But if we keep trying, eventually we’ll get somewhere.” Lux added.
The rest of the day was spent normally, Lux getting further acquainted with everyone else, among other things.
“You know, there’s a rumor going around about the Freedom Fighters lately…” Tangle eventually said to Lux.
“Huh? Really? I haven't been paying attention to things outside of the stuff with Wilma lately…" Lux said back.
“Yeah. People who were VIPed into Amy Rose’s Sweet Sixteen have said that during the party, her and another Freedom Fighter, Knuckles, went behind the building, and afterwards, they saw Amy leave the party in tears! Some people have been taking it WAY too far, accusing Knuckles of assaulting her or some shit… But others are suggesting that someone close to Amy may have died or turned evil… That’s what I believe.” She explained.
“Oh goodness.. That is strange. The latest victim of these disappearances, murders, in my opinion, happened two days before her birthday, but it was just some common citizen… Could he have really been close to Amy Rose of all people? Do they know of Wilma’s connection to him? Do they know it was a murder and not a dissaperance somehow? … Thanks for that, I’ll see if that rumor could be connected to the stuff with Wilma.” Tangle was taken aback.
“Dang, glad I could help! I was just hoping to make small talk, but here we are, with more to work off of!”
Tangle and Lux discussed their new ideas with Whisper and Jewel.
“Yeah, I heard about that rumor too! Hopefully, if it is from Wilma killing someone close to Amy, that’ll finally end her up in jail!” Jewel said.
“Yeah… Though if we ever decide to ask her on the matter, we should message her like… in a week or so… She’s probably still grieving…” Whisper pointed out.
“Fair enough. But for now, I’ll do some research on the latest victim and see if he had any ties to Amy.” Lux said.
Soon enough, the sun set, and everyone went to bed, with a big day ahead of them.
Late into the night, around 1 in the morning, a small beep rang downstairs. It wasn’t much, but it managed to wake up the restless Whisper.
She made her way downstairs, and noticed that it was from their landline phone, the business phone for the Freedom Trainees.
Whisper picked it up, it had one new voicemail on it.
“Who… Who’s calling us this late…?” She muttered to herself. She clicked on the voicemail.
“Hello. Sorry about calling so late, and if any of the other three are listening to this, I’d rather it be Whisper hearing this…”
“Me?” She muttered, taken aback.
“This is Doctor Clysdale… Your wisps will be ready to be picked up tomorrow… You know, you’re such a nice girl, Whisper… I can tell, even though we’ve only met once. Such a shame that you’re hanging around a group of stalkers…” Whisper dropped the phone in shock.
“H-How did th-they know..?”
“Please come by the clinic alone… Not to baby you, but I do have parental experience.. Perhaps.. I can set you onto the correct path?”
“Anyway, please arrive at 6am sharp, and come hungry, I’ll provide you breakfast. I’m looking forward to seeing you Whisper…”
“You better be listening.”

“I’LL CAVE YOUR HEAD IN YOU LITTLE SHI-” Knuckles charged towards Eclipse in pure fury, but was intercepted by Shadow.
“Oh no you don't!” Shadow sneered, throwing Knuckles back. Lux ran in and attacked Shadow, pushing them away from defending Eclipse.
“Oh great, you again!” Shadow groaned, shielding itself from her. They attacked back at Lux with a kick to her face.
Whisper, Tangle and Sonic stepped back, letting Lux, Knuckles and Amy take the fight, but still ready to jump back in at any moment.
“Are you hiding something?” Whisper asked Sonic out of the blue.
"Huh? N-No, of course not!” Sonic replied nervously.
“Yo, Whisp, what’s this about?” Tangle butted in, concerned.
“When Amy was talking about her “intuition”, you started acting we-” Whisper was interrupted by something randomly shooting her in the foot. She looked up into the sky, and saw two young foxes, she's seen them before! They were the two foxes she saw arguing with each other when she first entered the building in front of her, except they weren't foxes anymore, they were whatever alien creature Eclipse is! One had cyan stripes, and the other had crimson stripes; almost like they were an exact younger version of Eclipse, except that they looked a bit more feminine. The crimson striped one was holding the cyan striped one as they shot at the ground.
“LASER PARTY!!” The cyan striped darkling shouted in reckless enjoyment. Tangle grabbed Whisper's wispon and shot at them
“Tangle! Those are KIDS! I've MET them! Shouldn't we-?!” Whisper yelled after her, worried.
"That's what you thought about "Clysdale" themself, didn't you? And now look at what we're dealing with!" Tangle said to her.
Whisper realized that Tangle was right and took back her wispon, but before she could take a single shot, Tangle was kicked in the back by the crimson striped one of the two. They flew off and grabbed the hand of the cyan striped darkling just before they hit the ground.
“WHAT THE HELL CREGAL?!”
“Oops, sorry Cyzer~!” The apparently named Cregal said in a snarky tone, as they placed Cyzer on the ground.
Cregal flew off once more, towards Knuckles, Amy and Eclipse. They slammed into Knuckles, pushing him far away from Eclipse. This did leave Eclipse alone with Amy though, who instantly started swinging at them with her hammer. They were able to dodge her, but they were roughed up now. Quite quickly, a third dark darkling jumped in between Eclipse and Amy; this one with vibrant blue strikes, nearly just as vibrant of a blue as Sonic’s fur. Amy striked at the kid, but he pulled up a blue-tinted shield, which Amy’s hammer snapped in two right as it hit.
“MY HAMMER!” Amy cried.
“C’mon Ma’, let’s get outta here.” The kid grabbed Eclipse by the hand and ran off to where Cregal had retreated.
“Wh-What’s going on here-?” Eclipse tried to ask, but was interrupted.
“Cregal, go get Cyzer and Shadow, quick!” the blue striked darkling ordered.
“Got it, bro!” Cregal flew off.
“Would you like to explain what’s going on here, Blurk?? Did y-you guys plan a-all this?? I-I’m not mad, I’m just confused!!” Eclipse sputtered.
“Yep, it was all her idea.” Blurk responded.
“Who-?"
“If everything’s going to plan, she should be on the roof right now.”
“WHAT-??” Cregal came back with Cyzer and Shadow, and flew with them behind Eclipse.
"Eclipse!! What the hell is going on?! Since when did your Dark Arms have these forms?!" Shadow asked.
"Oh, my bad, I was going to tell you at some point…" Eclipse responded, clearly being sarcastic.
"Enough chit chatting, we've got a battle to win." Blurk said as he formed a bubble around the five of them. Suddenly, there was a shout from the roof of the clinic, a war cry.
“ALL HAIL THE BLACK ARMS!!!”
A large sonic boom blasted through the area, damaging the surrounding buildings, and knocking down the heroes, though Eclipse, Shadow, and the three kids were protected by Blurk’s defenses.
Whisper was the first to look up and try to see the source of such a powerful attack. It was the pink striked girl she had seen the night before numerous times, now in a new alien look like the others. That young girl was the one behind that sonic boom, and the war cry.
She hoped down from the roof, into the arms of a very concerned and panicked Relic, but was quickly dropped when Knuckles yanked Relic to him in pure fury.
“You… You sneaked onto my island and took advantage of the fact that I and my island were in peril to further YOUR career, but I pushed that aside, because after getting to know you, you SEEMED trustworthy. But you turn your back on me after 4 years, NEARLY HALF A DECADE of friendship, and leave me all alone, and ally yourself with the likes of ECLIPSE for what? WHAT do you get out of this, Relic?! You’ve betrayed not only me, but all of Aerth! … In short, what i’m saying is…”
“I hope you burn in hell, Relic.”
Knuckles thrashed Relic about and then threw her into the distance, with such power that she completely disappeared.
“RELIC!!” Both Shadow and Eclipse called out. The last of the young darklings ran to Eclipse, as finally, Wilma walked out into the city streets battlefield.
“Hmph… You all have caused all this destruction without me? What a pity.. Well, at least I can have some fun now! But no… I don’t think this will do… It looks like you all… You horrid creatures… Will get to see the REAL me!” Wilma snickered, and threw her glasses on the ground, crushing them underneath her foot, before beginning to transform. Unlike with Eclipse’s reveal, “Wilma” not only simply shifted form, but grew in size. Sonic in particular took a defensive stance. Once she was done, the woman who the heroes knew as Wilma Brevair towered over them, looking at them with five shining eyes, filled with fury and hatred. She resembled that of the late leader of the Black Arms, Black Doom, but had her own distinguished look, with the center point being the ivory colored mask over her face.
“This looks serious… At least I came prepared!” Sonic said, Summoning the seven Chaos Emeralds around him. Everyone around him was surprised, not even Knuckles and Amy knew that Sonic had taken the Emeralds with him. Absorbing the power of the Chaos Emeralds, Sonic became Super Sonic. This caused “Wilma” to become even more furious, tears starting to form in her eyes.
“No! NO! I REFUSE TO DIE LIKE HE DID! FOR HIM! FOR ME! FOR OUR PEOPLE! I REFUSE TO BE KILLED IN THE SAME WAY YOU KILLED MY HUSBAND!! I, BLACK WIDOW, QUEEN OF THE BLACK ARMS, REFUSE TO LET WHAT’S LEFT OF MY CITIZENS TO SUFFER THAT PAIN TWICE!!” She cried out. Sonic said nothing back, and just attacked her.
Everyone on both sides stood back and let them fight, because this was THEIR fight, their battle.
For the heroes, it was Sonic’s battle to protect Aerth. But honestly? This was the usual, the expected. Nearly everyday is like that for Sonic and his friends.
For what was left of the Black Arms, the small bit left of them… This battle was life or death, not just for Black Widow, but for ALL of them, even the two who were previously on the heroes side, Shadow, Relic, and Omega, if Black Widow lost, if this day, this moment is to be her last, they have no way of saving themselves. That’s it.
There’s no coming back from this.
Both Sonic and Black Widow prepared to give this their best effort, and soon after, the fighting began, making such a sight, that it could be seen from miles away, which was quite helpful to Relic in particular, who had found herself landing in with two lone Black Arms, trying to find their way to the rest of the pack, and someone who Relic wasn’t surprised decided to give them assistance in such a mission.
“What is that?! No, it must be… It’s Widow!!” Relic called out.
“Are we thinkin’ of the same Widow? Like, Black Widow?” A lanky Black Arms Elite asked her.
“Uh, yeah, Yuki, I think she is.” Responded a short coral colored hedgehog, that looked like she was made the same way Shadow and Eclipse were.
“Damn, no need to get mad at me, Hara, I was just asking…” Yuki snapped back.
“So… Go straight into the chaos, right?”
“Ah yes, that’d be right on, Rouge!” Relic answered.
“Sounds about right!” Rouge snarked.
“Looks like we’ve got a bit still to go, then. I’ll put this flag up so they know which side we’re on!”
“You think you’ll be good on your own Harazuki?” Relic asked.
“Yeah, I’ll be fine! Even though some would disagree, I’m still a Ultimate Life Form… of sorts.” Harazuki responded, flying up to the antenna of the beat up jeep Rouge was driving with a flag with the Black Arms symbol on it in her hands.
The fight was making both Sonic and Black Widow tired, but neither of them refused to give up. As time passed, it was very clear that Sonic had the advantage, but that didn’t stop Black Widow, she knew that it needed to protect her people.
“You really are determined to win, aren’t ya, lady?” Sonic said mockingly.
“Of course I am! What if YOU lost nearly everything, even the one you loved the most, GONE! Wouldn’t you do just about anything to protect what you have left?” She responded back, full of emotion.
“Ya know, I’d feel bad for ya, but you and your hubby wanted to enslave us for your own selfish needs so… Tough luck!” This set Black Widow into a blinding rage, her hastily but forcefulling attacking Sonic with a Chaos Blast. Though with it so emotional, it was clear that she was vulnerable. “Wow! Cool move! Mind if I do the same to you?” Widow didn’t respond, she COULDN’T respond. Her emotions overtook her in that moment. In that moment, her one thought was that of at least getting to see her love again in whatever was after this life.
But before Sonic could provide the final blow onto Black Widow, Shadow ran in front of her, and screamed out.
“I WON’T LET YOU HURT HER!”
And blasted Sonic with a Chaos Blast that was far beyond Shadow’s power.
Widow reverted into her “Wilma” form in order to hug them.
“What the… What the hell was that..?!” Shadow looked at its hand, completely stunned. Everyone else was stunned as well, looking at Shadow in pure confusion, and even fear, for some.
Sonic was knocked out of his super form, the Chaos Emeralds scattered about where he landed, as Amy and Tangle helped him up.
At that moment, Omega came out of hiding with Garrick sitting on his shoulder.
“Are you in need of assistance?” He asked to Shadow. Shadow looked out, and saw Rouge’s jeep drive in front of them, and smiled.
“Nah, we got a ride.” They said, lugging Widow to the jeep. Omega went to the jeep, with Garrick still sitting on his shoulder, and Eclipse ran to the jeep and hugged Relic, with their four kiddos following them. The heroes were too stunned and weakened by Shadow’s attack to try to stop them. Though Knuckles was able to yell out a warning to them.
“We aren’t done yet! This is only the beginning, I tell ya! Only the beginning!”

The sun began to rise above the clouds, and with it, a young heroine known as Tangle Lémurien rose as well. Despite her sudden passing out after a particularly hardcore workout the day before, there she was, stretching herself and looking around for something to eat right as the sunrise began.
"You're up already? Ya know, if I was you, I'd take a break after what happened yesterday.” Tangle’s friend Jewel Ochroa lamented, seeing the hyperactive lemur reach for a protein bar.
“Well, I’m not you, am I?” Tangle argued. Jewel sighed.
“You’re really lucky to have me around. After your little stunt, I was the only one left to post all those flyers around town! If I wasn’t here, they wouldn’t have been posted at all!”
“What about Whisper though?” Tangle asked, concerned. "She didn't help you? That seems really unlike her…"
"One of her wisps wasn't doing so well, so she had to stay behind to take care of them." Jewel explained.
“Oh… Sorry, I didn't know-” Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Jewel and Tangle looked at each other. “An interviewee? Now? It's kinda early for that isn't it?"
“You have no room to talk, Tangle. " Tangle giggled at Jewel’s remark.
"Yeah… that's fair." She replied.
"Well, let's just hope that it isn't the only thing you two have in common, might be nice to have another powerhouse around, ya know, for extra-" Jewel then suddenly paused herself as Tangle opened the door.
The two were faced by a tall brown female tiger, her puffy green jacket making her look even more threatening than she already was, her sharp claws on display.
"-Protection…." Jewel mumbled, frozen in fear by the threatening figure before her.
“Yo, this is the right place, right?” The tiger asked, her chilled out tone making her true nature clear. Tangle awkwardly laughed off her original dread and responded.
“Yeah..! You’re here to apply to be a part of the Freedom Trainees, right?” Tangle asked.
“I sure am!” She held out her hand, offering out a handshake. “My name’s Lux, Lux Neon! Nice to meet ya!” Despite her loud and brutish ways, Tangle was taken aback by Lux. Maybe it was that the energetic personality she had didn't do any favors to tone down her scary appearance? Or maybe she was intimidated in a completely different sense? Either way, Tangle sheepishly shook Lux's hand.
“I’m Tangle, Tangle Lèmurien...! Though back in elementary school people called me "Longtail", y-you don't have to call me that though-! Oh! Um- Nice to meet you too!” Suddenly, Tangle heard the sound of someone racing down the stairs. She turned to see that it was Jewel, who she hadn't even realized had left the room at all. Jewel had a look on her face that looked like it was a mix between worry and embarrassment. Before Tangle could even ask her as to what was going on, Jewel approached Lux and began to talk to her.
“Sorry for not being here to greet you, One of our current teammates is still asleep! I-I tried to wake her up, but I guess I'm not too good at it, cause she slept right through all of my efforts!” She explained, referring to Whisper.
“Oh... Well uh… That’s fine. I'm honestly kinda surprised that you two happen to be up.” Lux chuckled. "Though you were probably quite groggy before I came along and made ya near piss yourselves huh?"
"Eh… kinda?" Jewel responded.
"Speaking of that, my bad for scaring y'all like that." Lux said as she retracted her claws. "I usually just go with this look for evil folks, but I guess I wasn't really thinking."
“Ah, yes, nothing like giving the baddies a good scare!” Jewel noted.
“That’s the point of the look, snucums!” Panicked footsteps followed Lux's response. Whisper was racing down the stairs, two of her wisps in her hands, and the others right behind her. Tangle was the first to react verbally.
“Whisper! What’s wrong?!”
“The sickness in one of my wisps has worsened… and it seems to have spread…” She explained, teary eyed. “I don’t know what to do…!” Jewel then chimed in. “Last night when I was putting up the flyers, I came by a small little establishment, owned by a fox named Dr. Clysdale. I talked to them for a bit, they said their speciality is taking care of wisps! Perhaps I can take you guys there and see if they can help you, Whisper?” A glimmer of hope shined in Whisper’s eyes.
“That sounds like a good idea…” She responded.
“Alright, let’s get going! Lead the way, Jewel!” Tangle declared eccentrically.
“So should I come back later…? Should I stay here-?”
“Nah, you can come along! You’ve already made a great case for yourself!” Tangle pulled Lux in and said. Lux nodded, and all four of the women started their walk downtown.
As they walked, the four of them talked about random little things; whatever came to mind, they talked about it. This was mainly to make Whisper feel better, and it did exactly that. However, eventually, Tangle could tell that something seemed to be bothering Lux.
“Hey, what’s up? Ya look troubled.” Tangle asked her
“I’ve been meaning to say something, but... I don’t wanna ruin the mood. I know that Whisper is worried, and even though we just met, I don't want to make her worry more.” Lux explained. Hearing that made Tangle smile, as she too cares a lot about Whisper.
“I get that, totally. You can just tell me, and I’ll let Jewel and Whisper know later, if you think they should know.” Tangle patted Lux on the back, speaking reassuringly to her.
“Thanks, that means a lot.” Lux responded. “Anyway, the reason why I responded to the flyer so quickly is because I'm practically desperate to find help with this case I’ve been working on... I’ve tried getting the attention of the Freedom Fighters, but none of them have responded to any of my emails.” She explained.
“Oh, yeah, I’ve heard they’re going through a bit of internal drama right now. I don’t know what exactly is going on, but I found out some surface info when I tried to find out why Sonic hasn’t been doing signings and interviews recently.” Tangle said.
“Oh, you're a fan of his too?" Lux asked.
"Yeah. I've always wanted to be like him…" Tangle responded.
"Anyway, still, I was hoping you guys could help me with this…” Lux pulled some papers from one of her jacket’s pockets as she shifted the conversation back on topic.
“Absolutely! What is it?” Tangle asked, admittedly somewhat excited.
“These are some newspapers throughout the years of several different missing persons reports. The earliest of them is from November 19th, 2005, and the latest is from just a week ago, September 21st, 2011. None of them have ever been found, and all of them share two things in common. They’re all young males in their 20s, and they were all said to be last seen with this young woman right here…” Lux then pulled another paper from another pocket, putting the newspapers back in the first pocket. “A dark purple and pink fox known as Wilma Brevair, age 25. She’s been questioned several times, but the police never seem to find any evidence that links her to the disappearances. Some, like myself, are still suspicious of her, though. What are the chances of her being the last person seen with ALL of these men, who were never seen again? The general public most likely gives her an easy time cause she’s a single mother, and “She’s just looking for a father for her son!”-”
“Oh, Miss Jewel, you came back so soon?” A voice suddenly interrupted Lux’s story.
“I’m sorry, are you busy right now, Dr. Clysdale?” Jewel responded.
“No no, not at all. It’s just rather early…” The fox called Dr. Clysdale, a late 20’s - early 30’s looking light gray and crimson fox, with bags under their eyes, their hair pulled back into a low ponytail, and a soft but low voice with a British accent. Seconds after they revealed themself, another person popped up behind them, and immediately noticed Whisper's ill wisps.
“Oh dear goodness! What happened to these poor little sweeties?!” The woman’s behavior made her seem to be Dr. Clysdale’s assistant; a blue mouse of sorts, with her hair pulled into two buns on each side of her head, other than the bit of bangs that flopped over her face, wearing a pale green dress shirt, black pants, and a semi-formal black jacket.
“Last night, one of them became ill… I kept an eye on them, but when I woke up this morning, the first wisp’s illness got worse, and another got sick as well…!” Whisper explained to the doctor and their assistant.
“Mmm… How peculiar… Just leave them with me, dear. All of them, just in case the others get sick. May be just a quick acting case of the common cold, but I’ll examine them for you…” Clysdale explained. This made Whisper a bit panicked.
“Wh-when are they gonna be able to come back with me..?” She asked, her voice shaking.
“Don’t fright, Love, they’ll be better in a few days at the MOST.” They assured her.
“A-Alright.” Dr. Clysdale took Whisper’s wisps and brought them to their office.
“Don’t worry, the doctor is quite skilled at what they do! Your little lovelies will be back to 100% health in no time at all!” The assistant said to her.
“Excuse me, I’m sorry if it’s a bother, but I never got your name when we met yesterday.” Jewel said, budging into the conversation.
“Oh? I thought I told you already! Well, nevertheless, my name is Relic Orkney. Quite the pleasure to meet you!” The assistant responded to her.
“Oh… Well nice to meet you Relic! We’ll come check to see if Whisper’s wisps are all better tomorrow, alright?” Jewel suggested.
“Sounds good to me! I’ll let Dr. Clysdale know!!” Relic assured, before leaving the room.
“Hey… Lux, was it?” Whisper suddenly asked on the way back home.
“Yeah?"
“What were you talking about with Tangle earlier?”
“...I’ll tell you and Jewel when we get back to your guy’s place, alright?” Lux answered.
“Alright…” Whisper responded, still feeling slightly off about Lux.

Just as promised, thirty minutes later, Amy, Knuckles and Sonic arrived. Sonic was the first to come into the home of the Freedom Trainees, zooming in in pure excitement.
“GOOOD MORNING!! You must be Jewel! It’s very nice to meet you!! Oh I just LOVE seeing people get inspired by me!” Sonic said and he roughly shook Jewel’s hand.
“Hey! Don’t you go leaving us behind!” Knuckled yelled as he, with Amy, caught up to Sonic.
“He’s just excited..” Amy said to Knuckles.
Suddenly, there was a loud screech that filled the entire house.
“OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH IT’S REALLY YOUUUUUUU!!!” Tangle darted into the living room.
“Woah!! Looks like someone’s a big fan!!” Sonic remarked.
“Totally!! You’re my hero!!” Tangle responded happily.
“Ya know, back in the day, Tails said that exact same thing to me… Maybe one day you’ll be my sidekick too?” Sonic teased, which caused Tangle to squeal and happily run around the house and eventually bump into Lux, who along with Whisper, had come downstairs to see what all the ruckus was about.
“Why is it so noisy….?” Whisper asked, covering her ears. Lux gasped when she saw who’s there.
“No way….!!”
“Yes way!!” Sonic gleefully responded.
“Hah! Now I can see why Tangle is so excited..”Lux chuckled. "But yeah, turn it down a notch." She said firmly. Tangle did so and giggled awkwardly.
“Oops… Sorry Whisp.”
“It’s… It’s okay…”
“Anyway, there’s a reason why we’re here, and that’s because of all this business with Miss Wilma Brevair!” Amy said, focusing the conversation.
“Oh yeah! I’ve been meaning to ask, what’s that theory about Wilma you have?” Jewel asked.
“Oh! That! Yeah. I got totally cut off yesterday! Anyway… hear me out, but I think Wilma is a disguised member of the Black Arms! I just… I get that vibe from her! Back when I just met Shadow, back about 7 years ago, I just… They had a vibe to 'em, I could tell something was off about them. Come a year later, I found out along with everyone else that they're part Black Arms. I just have a good intuition about that kind of stuff!” Amy explained.
"Wait, Shadow is one of those alien things?" Whisper asked, confused.
"You didn't know?" Tangle asked her.
"No.. I don't really keep up with that kind of thing…" Whisper explained.
“But yeah, Amy’s got a real knack for that! So I’m bound to trust her on this.” Knuckles added. Sonic laughed awkwardly, like he knew something no one else did. Lux, Jewel and Tangle just shrugged it off, but Whisper kept note of Sonic’s actions in the moment, and what Amy said.
“You really think so? I mean… That explains the complete lack of info of where she came from before just… popping into existence one day in mid-November 2005… Actually, looking back at the files… She first was seen on November 19th, 2005… Only a few days after the Black Arms’ attempted invasion happened…” Lux said.
“But didn’t Shadow blow up the comet?” Sonic asked.
“Didn’t stop them from coming back around just two years later…” Knuckles remarked in an annoyed tone.
“Huh? What do ya mean by that, Knux?” Sonic looked at him funny.
“Oh, yeah, I kinda got involved with Team Dark dealing with this one escaped Black Arm… Name was Eclipse. If I ever see their face again, they're getting served a Knuckles Sandwich right in the mouth!”
“Oh yeah! You told me about them, Knuckles, and I even came along with you to find them. No luck though…” Amy added.
“WHAT?!” Sonic shouted, panicked.
“Don’t worry Sonic! I was fine! I’m still alive, aren’t I?” Amy assured him, he sighed.
“Yeah, I know… I just worry about ya, Ames…”
“... You sure do like to do a lot of worrying, don't you? Maybe you'd be less worried if you spent more time with me." Amy told Sonic.
“Anyway, how come you felt so inclined to come around now?” Jewel refocused the conversation with her question for Knuckles.
“Oh, it’s just the way you described that Doctor Clysdale fellow… sounded familiar. But I thought about it more, and realized I could just be overreacting.” He answered.
“Aw, ya sure?” Lux cut in.
“Yeah. Sometimes I just do that, ya know?”
“Well, sense we ARE here, maybe we should like, go storm their base or something? Works for dealing with Eggman.” Sonic suggested.
“Yeah! Let’s do it!” Tangle said excitedly.
“But how do we do that..?” Whisper asked.
“Good question! Let’s get to planning! Can any of you four draw?” Knuckles asked.
“I’ll try...” Whisper offered.
“Great! Y’all got paper?”
“Yeah! Let me go get it!” Jewel piped up, and flew off to get some paper.
“Before you start planning, and pinning us places, just know that Jewel really doesn’t like violence..!” Tangle warned Knuckles.
“Is that so? Don’t worry, I won't force her into anything she doesn’t want to do! We’ve already got enough people!” Knuckles assured.
Soon, Jewel came back with the paper, and gave it, and a pencil, to Whisper.  After around 45 minutes of drawing, Whisper had a full drawing of the clinic and house combo.
“I hope this helps…” She said.
“Thank you! Yeah… This looks great!” Knuckles grabbed the map and placed it on the kitchen table. “Okay, so Wilma, Clysdale, Relic, Shadow, and possibly Omega… That makes five, and there’s seven of us… Six now because of Jewel being excluded from being part of the fight.”
“Hah! Easy!!” Sonic laughed.
“Actually, there should be four of them, cause yesterday Lux and I had a run in with Relic and I… Broke her arm.” Tangle confessed.
“Oh! Then a 6v4 huh? Sounds easy enough to me!” Knuckles said with pride. “Anyway, six of us… that means we can evenly split into two groups of three! Alright, this is my idea… Sonic, …. What’s your name?” Knuckles looked at Lux.
“Lux.”
“Ah, of course. Sonic, Lux and I will go in first. I think that Shadow and Omega will be the first to attack, so this part is just a bunch of brutes going off. Second half is Amy…”
“Tangle and Whisper.” Tangle finished for him, pointing at herself and then at Whisper.
“Right. You three come in second, and are most likely dealing with Wilma and Clysdale. Strategy.”
“Not to dump on your ideas, Knux, but shouldn’t we have a good strategist in with the two fighters, and a fighter in with the two strategists? Ya know, to ensure that both halves have a good personal plan? Besides, I feel like the enemy team would do the same.” Sonic suggested.
“Oh.. yeah. I’m really lucky that you’re a smart guy, Sonic. Good thinking.”
“Oh please, Tangle’s no strategist.” Jewel chuckled. Tangle rolled her eyes, but she agreed.
“Okay okay… So how about… Amy, Tangle and I first, and then Sonic, Whisper and Lux?”
“I could go in first on my own, with you, Tangle and Amy going in soon after me. I make good bait for Shadow.”
“Fine! Sonic first, then Amy, Tangle and I, then Whisper and Lux! Final plan, I’m not budging!” Sonic couldn’t help but laugh a bit.
“Jeez… Sonic and Knuckles are always like that with each other…” Amy sighed, seeming slightly annoyed.
“So, Let’s do it then!” Lux asserted.
Sonic ran to the clinic, and Shadow automatically noticed him.
“What do YOU want??” Shadow approached Sonic angrily. Doctor Clysdale stepped out of the clinic to aid Shadow in the situation.
“Is this blue hedgehog giving you trouble?” They asked.
“I know you fuckers are working for that Wilma chick!” Sonic yelled.
“Shut up Faker.” Shadow kicked Sonic in the face, which began a quick paced battle between the two of them.  Amy ran in with her hammer, attacking Doctor Clysdale with it, though they quite quickly and forcibly threw her off.
“Their strength… their aura… Knuckles, you were right! I can tell, they're one of them!” Amy yelled out.
“Hah, You’re well connected for a half-blood!”
“Half… what?!” Knuckles appeared, defending Amy from Doctor Clysdale.
“Oh, Knuckles! It’s been awhile, hasn’t it? Surprised you’re seeing me again? Thought I was just gonna walk off and die?” “Clysdale” giggled, taking their hair out it’s ponytail. “That’s what you all thought, huh? How awful… How dreadful…!” They started to transform.
“No… It can’t be..!!” Their amber eyes pierced into Knuckles soul, as he saw the truth, the truth that he himself predicted, and yet, thought was impossible.
“You really think that you could get rid of the “Ultimate Alien” that easily, dear?”
“What the hell?!” Amy cried out.
“I won’t let you hurt my friends again, Eclipse!!” Knuckled declared.
“Oh, please, I do hope to see you try~!” They said mockingingly. “The deciding factor is in my court now… Your end is nigh!”

Whisper tried to sleep some more, setting her clock to wake her up at 5:00 am, as Doctor Clysdale’s clinic was an hour walk away, though the voicemail had spooked her so bad that she couldn’t get any rest at all. As she thought about and eventually listened back to the voicemail, she came to the conclusion that Wilma and Dr Clysdale must be close friends, and Wilma told them about the fact that Whisper and the other Freedom Trainees had been stalking her yesterday.
After what seemed to be an eternity later, her alarm clock went off. Whisper got up from her bed, wrote a small sign explaining where she was, and hung it on her door. When Whisper went downstairs, she noticed that it was raining outside, so she put on her raincoat and rain boots, and grabbed her umbrella before heading out.
Whisper was indeed nervous, but walking alone in the rain, with the sun slowly rising into the sky, creating streaks of vibrant yellows, oranges, reds and even pinks in the sky as it changes from a dark indigo to that more familiar cyan, even faded through the gray clouds, gave off a calming vibe.
Soon enough, Whisper reached Doctor Clysdale’s clinic, which had a sign on it saying that it wouldn’t be open until noon because of “internal reasons''. Suddenly, Relic came around from behind the building.
“I told them that you wouldn’t have been able to show up so early!” She pouted.
“A-Am I late?” Whisper asked.
“Yeah… Only by an hour.”
“An hour…! I-I’m sorry!” Whisper apologized, partially because she was scared of the doctor, after hearing their angry voicemail, but also partially because she just felt bad for being late in general. Relic assured her that everything was okay, and told Whisper to follow her. Relic led her behind the clinic, where a small house resided.
“That’s where ol’ Clyde and I live!”
“Oh? I see…" Whisper responded.
Relic opened the door for Whisper. Before she could even take one step in, she was confronted by two young foxes fighting. Both of them had primarily gray fur like Clysdale, with one of them having their red highlights as well, while the other had cyan highlights, similar to Relic.
“Ah! Whisper! There you are, darling!” Doctor Clysdale looked quite chipper, completely different to how they were the night before, though a small crack into the more angry side of them that Whisper had seen showed when they stared at the two young foxes angrily. The two foxes went to the kitchen, grabbed a plate of food for each of them and then scurried upstairs. "Why don't you find a seat?" Clysdale suggested to Whisper, placing their hand on her shoulder. Whisper did as she was asked, and saw none other than Wilma, standing around, and her son Garrick, quietly playing a video game with another young fox. She instantly panicked.
“Oh. Don’t worry yourself, Clysdale says you’re a good kid, and I believe them. You looked uncomfortable yesterday, I could tell.” Wilma said.
“Wait, really?” Whisper was surprised to hear that.
“Yeah.” Wilma nodded.
“Oh, hey, I think our breakfast is ready…" The fox with Garrick spoke up, as he sat up and paused the game.
"Awww…. Does that mean I have to go upstairs too?" Garrick pouted.
"Not if you promise to behave." Wilma told him sweetly. Wilma continued to whisper softly to Garrick, though Whisper couldn't hear her anymore, she did notice that Wilma pointed to yet another young fox, this one female, wearing glasses and a hoodie, who was sitting quietly on the couch, doodling in a notebook and listening to music.
"Do you guys wanna play a game together?" Relic asked.
“Oh! Oh! I wanna play Uno!!” Garrick excitedly requested.
“I do like that idea quite a good bit. What does everyone else think?” Wilma said.
“Sure…! I like Uno…” Whisper answered.
"Uno… Uno's good." The young girl answered as well.
“Agreed! So let’s play!” Relic excitedly declared.
Wilma shuffled the cards, and passed them out, 7 for each person as Clysdale joined them and set food on the table. Wilma took the rest of the cards and placed them in a pile, flipping over the card on top, revealing the color and number of that card, and thus, the game, and breakfast, began.
As the four played, Whisper decided to talk to Clysdale.
"Are those little foxes your-?"
"Children? Yes. I told you I had parental experience, didn't I?" Clysdale answered, holding the hoodie wearing fox close to them.
"Oh, that's nice…" Whisper responded. "Are you and Relic… together..?" She asked.
"Oh no. I'm aware that some of my little ones may make it look that way, but I assure you, I simply don't feel that kind of attraction." Clysdale told her, making sure she understood. "We are simply friends."
"Yeah…" Relic sighed.
“So, who… is the other parent, then?" Whisper asked.
"My, you're certainly nosy, aren't you?" Clysdale answered, clearly wanting to drop the subject. Whisper, not wanting to cause tension so quickly, especially with Dr Clysdale of all people, quickly apologized for asking.
"Speaking of being nosy--" Wilma interjected. "Your friends were quite a nosy bunch yesterday, weren't they? How long have you known them, anyhow?"
“Oh! I’ve known Jewel and Tangle for a while, but we all met Lux just yesterday.” Whisper replied quite quickly.
“Pardon me, I managed to get a picture of you four on my phone… which is which?” Whisper pointed out each of them.
“Lux was the one who told us about you, and asked us to help her... Get you imprisoned…” She admitted. Wilma understandably looked offended, but quickly cooled down.
“Thank you… I’ll remember that.” Wilma took her turn in the game.
“What?! That’s… That’s… That’s so mean!! She sounds like a meanie!! I wanna smack her in the face for being a meanie!!” Garrick jumped up in defense of his mom, which startled Clysdale's daughter. Whisper laughed a bit from Garrick's reaction, even though it made her feel bad.
“Settle down pumpkin, Mommy can deal with her own issues.” Wilma assured him.
"Don't worry dear… just focus on your music, okay?" Clysdale said, comforting their little girl. The girl nodded softly.
As the game went on, and Whisper talked more with Wilma and Relic, she started to feel right at home. She knew that her friends would freak out at the sight, but Whisper truly did feel loved in the moment.
Whisper finally got around to eating the food that Clysdale provided, taking a bite of the slab of meat, chewing it and tasting it's juices.
“Hey, Doctor Clysdale?”
“Yes?”
“What kind of meat is this?” They laughed at the question.
“Beef! I use a very specific blend of spices!” Whisper looked down at her plate, and took another bite.
It had an odd taste… not overall, but there was a slight tinge of...
Iron.
“Do you not like it, Whisper?”
“No no… I do..” She said. She kinda did, but it was just… off. She ate the rest of the meat, along with the rest of the meal provided to her, as to not seem weird or suspicious. Though, with her a bit more cautious and aware now, Whisper decided to bring up the cases against Wilma again.
“Did you ever find out what happened to all the guys you dated… that went missing?”
“Why now of all times do you bring that up?” Wilma asked, annoyed.
“I… I was just curious.”
“It’s a very personal matter to me.” Wilma said. Whisper was thrown off by how it was outright avoiding the question.
“Hey, why don’t we have another round of Uno?” Relic suggested, though at this point, Whisper couldn’t tell if it was to innocently calm the tension in the room, or to force her into dropping the subject.
“That sounds like a good idea. Oh! I think the tea is ready!” Doctor Clysdale got up.
“Tea?” Whisper asked.
“Yeah! I found a good flavor blend online and wanted to test it out.” Clysdale responded as they returned to the living room, pouring a glass for Whisper. Against her better judgement, she took a swig. “What do you think?”
“It’s good…” Whisper answered genuinely, though seconds after drinking the tea, she started to feel woozy. “Sorry, I didn’t… get any… sleep… last ni….” Whisper passed out mid-sentence.

How Ms.Widow Stole Christmas
Tumblr media
Written by Ash Rose Red
Cover by Ash Rose Red
CW/TW: Mention of Christmas
Original publish date:
(Amino) December 25th 2020
Summary:
It's... It's not much really. Just a little style parody thing.
Among the clouds in the Aerthly sky
In a temple so very high
A queen by the name of Black Widow looked down with a scowl
Seeing all the Aerthlings so happy every Christmas made her growl
“They share such happy memories with the ones they love on this holiday they conjured
While everyone I love is either gone or suffering with what they’ve endured
After what they’ve done to us, they do not deserve such a festive day
I will achieve justice and break their naivete!”
And thus the angry queen pulled together what she had remaining
“We’re going to give those fools what they deserve with some thieving!”
Thus Ms. Widow was on a plan to steal away the Aerthling’s Christmas
And its troops were eager to get to business.
While in a way, it was all of the Aerth’s fault
There was one specific group which she blamed for all the tragedy brought
The infinitely empowered Freedom Fighters
They take out all they see as evil despite still mostly being minors
They were the ones that started this mess
They were the ones who destroyed all of their progress
For such a crime, she’d make them pay
She’ll make sure they feel its total dismay
This plan was only the beginning
Of Ms. Widow’s act of reckoning.
A group of five
One still alive
To call out
The one in doubt
To prove them right
That they cast out the bright
"They're better off with me anyway
Than being with you on any day!”
To show them just how stupid they are
The most troublesome planet by far
She crept into the house with her trusty disguise
Quickly locking its eyes onto the prize
She pack all the gifts right into a sack
She grabbed the tree and the lights, and pushed them up in a stack
She took off and left the girls to feel the aftermath
To feel the punishment of their chosen path
The five woke up at the peek of dawn
And were horrified to see everything gone
Though they took comfort in each other
Spitting in the face of the trauma torn Mother
Even with all she did, they still celebrated
Which made Ms. Widow even more frustrated
But she still swore to one day strike them down
For now though, she’ll watch on with a spiteful frown

A random sketch comic I made
Tumblr media
Rouge: Widow? Girl, where are you?
*Rouge sees Widow (*in mobian form*) hanging w/ Doom (*inhabiting Shadow's body*)
Rouge: Oh.
Widow: Oh hi! Did you want something?
Tumblr media
Rouge: Oh it's nothing
Widow: You sure?
Rouge: I... I wanted to go shopping. But I don't want to interrupt your hubby time-
Widow: *excited* Oh! No worries! We can go, all three of us!
Doom: That sounds quite fun, but I must inquire... How are we to disguise myself?
Tumblr media
Widow: OOH! I KNOW!
*Widiw goes through her purse*
Widow: Hairbrush! *brushes bangs over Doom's third eye*
Widow: Sunglasses! *puts sunglasses on Doom's face*
Doom: I cannot see, dear.
Widow: *takes Doom's hand* I'LL GUIDE YOU!
Tumblr media
-Later...-
Shadow: (*back in his body*) What am I wearing?
Doom: Well some of us like that kind of thing....
