#willow got cancelled

This is coming from a very painful place. A place that is bleeding and pleeding with all its will for this to be false. Or for them to change their minds, I don’t care.

I am so tired of feeling like this. So tired of never getting closure to the things I love, tired of never even getting to start watching certain shows because the lesbians die, or get cancer, or whataver.

Willow was the one good thing we had in such a long time, fantasy wise, and it hit me different than anything else. 

Now I’m crying thinking about how I’ll have to move on from it, how I’ll have to deal with:

- Never knowing how did Kit remove the cuirass, 

- Never getting to see Kit and Jade have small moments of tenderness,

- Never getting to see Kit and Jade call each other girlfriends,

- Never getting to know how Graydon would come back (cause I knew he would),

- Never getting to know what really happened to Madmartigan,

- Never getting to see Sorsha welcome her kids back, 

- Never getting to see Boorman back with Scorpia,

- Never getting to see more o Jade and the Bone Reavers,

- Never getting to see Kit and Elora interact more.

Among so many other things I’m honestly too tired and too sad to ever wrap my mind around. 

I would go as far as saying I wish I had never watched that show in the first place, cause then it wouldn’t hurt so much, but that wouldn’t be fair to the cast and crew and everyone who put so much of their souls into this, into bringing this wonderful queer story into the world.

I’m so thankful to have gotten to live this, but right now my heart is shattered into a million tiny pieces, and I just want to curl up in a ball and cry.

I hope people continue to write fics about them, specially in canon, so that we have something to hold on to, but I have been here long enough to know how fast we move on from story to story and I don’t really know if we will get that at all. 

I hope I don’t lose whatever few friends I made here, but that’s also a long shot. 

I’m sad. So very sad.

You know while the fact that so many of our queer shows are getting cancelled, shortened or even taken off air entirely (in Willow’s case) fucking sucks, I am so glad to have seen them. I want to hold that. My joy that they have come to exist at all. Even in a world that is still hostile or apathetic in so many ways. They have been made. I have seen them. I have seen myself. That means so much. And all the people who have fought tooth and nail for every character and scene that has brought me joy, helped me feel seen, helped me feel comfortable in my own skin, I want to say thank you

You know... looking back on this show, it isn't audacious of Amity to call Luz a bully, since the show never actually presents Luz as a victim of bullying.

In fact, it's the opposite - Luz was antagonizing her schoolmates and disrupting the learning environment. It got so bad the counselor made Camilla send Luz to a correctional summer camp... And Yesterday's Lie makes it even weirder by saying "If Luz actually toned down her disruptive behavior at school, she could actually make friends. Luz is the problem here, not the system"

It's no wonder why Luz liked Amity and didn't think it was a big deal to crush on her and start dating her before Amity made amends with Willow and Gus LOL

Eventually streaming services are gonna lose huge amounts of viewers. Of course they'll never completely lose paying viewers. But eventually,, I just feel it, there will be a massive drop in viewership everywhere. And it'll be their own fault.

Jade loved to help Kit and Airk with their chores. They would clean the rooms while Pru and Elora made food in the kitchen. Ballantine would go out for firewood. He would fetch giant pales of water, two at a time, and help with the stables and horses once he was done.

After the rooms and tavern were clean, Pru let the three of them go outside. Their adventures included chasing away birds from the garden, picking vegetables for lunch. Going into the woods to pick fruits and berries. Or, if it was a slow morning, the three of them could go to the lake for a swim.

Sometimes, they would catch some fish and help make a special meal out of whatever they caught.
