10/10 good boy. has anxiety but is always down to party & im mad that the ?? joke they had about “except willie” got super mean in season 5. it was about the only long standing meme joke that got super annoying & petty. he’s like the only main side lemur that didn’t get a lot of screen time specifically and im mad about it. willie episode WHEN

So, I watched the Heathers episode of Riverdale

K, so I’ve never watched Riverdale before (well like half an episode on tv once) but I heard there was a musical episode themed on Heathers.  

So I watched it…and accidentally started writing a really long play-by-play analysis:

The hair wooshy noises…this is only for this episode right? That can’t be in the regular run of the show right? It’s so loud

Also is the plot that these kids have to stop their drug dealing moms?

Co director girl is so over acting.  Is she a regular character on this show?

Also can the Ram Sweeney guy actually act? Cuz based on what I’m seeing, imma go with No.

So, frequently, a disembodied voice is just singing and matches nobody on screen, like they don’t seem to concerned with getting the right person on screen lip-syncing at the right moment.

Also one of the jock dudes is suuuuper tone deaf

I do appreciate that they are all indeed doing jello shots.

So we have the 3 heathers, and then we have … 3 more dark evil heathers?

Also this sometimes using riverdale-veronica as heathers-veronica but also not is confusing

I thought the neon lighting was just for promotional photos of Riverdale. But no. literally every scene is lit in neon red and blue (and maybe some yellow)

Also when making cuts, why still have her say “well whoa you can punch real good.”  Just cut the “well whoa” and it will fit your scenario better.

The voices of Cole and lilli (and most of them) sound like they were recorded so separately and in completely different ways, ones more breathy, others are echoey, some have autotune…hmm

Also someone pointed out that when you get to the “your eyes can’t we be seeeventeeeeeeen” line, Cole’s voice changes so drastically it has got to be somebody else.  I totally agree.

Sometimes the background music (not heathers) sounds like a western movie.  Like somebody just got challenged to a show down at high noon.

Oof. “Martha are you free tonight?”  nobody answers. They all kinda glance around awkwardly.  Really? Why leave the name in at all if you aren’t including Martha, just change it.

When you burn down a building, shouldn’t you flee the scene of the crime? No? does being in the snake gang make him immune?

Also the pan out to make sure we saw the gas can in the back seat, cuz yanno I couldn’t’ve pieced that bit together on my own.

Hold up, I feel like from seeing the rest of the ep I can guess who most of the audience members are that are getting close ups/reaction shots, but I swear they added a new lady, heavily made up, and not Cole or Veronica’s mom...who…?

Oh and now we get creepy cult flash mob with hypnotizing claps. Ok.

 Overall:  pretty messy. No one really plays a specific character so it’s hard to gain any of the character growth that they get in the actual musical.  No one’s vocal style matches like at all.  The new lyrics and tons of edits were odd. The sound mixing was bad I think, like everything stuck out and didn’t match. This show is hilariously broody and they all have such funny names. Camilla whatshername is a good singer, actually the main 3 girls are p good, and the Kevin guy.

1. What do you think about All Hail King Julien ?

Its one of the BEST. SHOWS. THAT. EVER. WERE. MADE!!!!!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!

2. What episode/s is/are your favourite and why?

Oh my i have so many! but i can tell Body Double is one of my favs. It has such an amazing and great character in it!! 

The Wrath of Morticus Khan is definetly one of my favs as well, more Juliens! And he also has a lot of flirty scenes there hmhmhm X3

3. What is/are your favourite season/s and why?

Season 2 - because we got Mary Ann there, Crimson and Magic Steve ^^

Season 3 - We’ve seen the Parents of Julien and got to know them but also Karen.

Season 4 - it has so many great episodes as well and i’ve finally seen Julien (and Maurice) as a baby!!!!!! my heart!!!!

EXILED - It’s just soooooooo epic!!!!!!!!

Final Season - Its...so great!!! But it also makes me sad!!!

4. Who is/are your favourite character/s and why?

King Julien!! He’s such a warm-hearted cutie!!! He is and became such a good king, he does so much for his kingdom and family!!! I could just hug him all day!!! <333

Horst - I just love how he is,always around with his beverage!!! 

5. Who is/are your favourite main character/s and why ?

King Julien,like i said before.

Clover - She’s so cool and funny, but also cute (dont tell her that i said that plz XD) I grew to like her even more through the seasons ^^

Maurice - He’s soo nice and caring. Julien can annoy him at times so much but he never leaves his side. He is not only his advisor, but also his family!

Mort - Hmmm.....how do i say this. He’s creepy but is loyal to King Julien and would do anything for him....even if that means like anything in uneccessary creepy ways :,D

6. Who is/are your least favourite character/s and why?

Ted - He’s so funny and always fear-tinkling (also joy-tinkling),he better should check out his bladder problem by Doctor S. altough.....better not XD

Willie - WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!! (he needs a therapy, like bad XD)

Pancho - “Im in the dark here!!” ( take a chill-pill, dynamite boy ^^)

Hector - He’s just the Squidward of the lemurs,hates everyone and anything (except maybe his mother and flyswatter)  :,D

7. Who is/are your favourite enemy/ies and why?

MAGIC STEVE!!!! He’s soo cute and cool,but also soooo misunderstood. Its not his fault he became evil. He got wronged by everyone....just because he loves Magic and looks like KJ. He didnt ask to look like him. POOR BOY GOT EATEN BY CROCODILE AMBASSADOR!!! But he had more screentime the later seasons and that made me so happy!!

Uncle King Julien - He’s such a good villain,i love it everytime when he gets mentioned or appears. And when he runs away with “STAY AWAY FROM ME! STAY AWAY FROM ME!” it cracks me up XD

Crimson - i hated her first,especially where she poisoned Julien but later my hate for her vanished and now she’s one of my favs. She has such a cool design!!! 

Mary Ann - i liked her ever since she came on screen! Such an awesome and precious kitty!! ^w^

8. What is/are your favourite ship/s and why?

King Julien x Magic Steve - well.....everytime they interact it makes me grinning. I just wish we’d have gotten MORE moments with them together.

Karl x Chauncey - They deserve each other. Karl needs some love since he didnt get love by his parents. Poor Dude.

I NEED DVD’S AND MERCHANDISE AND MORE SEASONS LIKE MAYBE TILL SEASON 10!!I wonder ofc if Crimson stays in the lemur kingdom now or lives somewhere else. I was confused tho by his eye color change but i got to see Magic Steve one last time and he DANCED! HE FREAKING DANCED!!

Not criticising Jover or anything, but what do you think about Jover after Season 5/6?

Hello anon! ^^

Well my opinion had always been King Julien and Clover, are both unconsciously in love, so to speak. They never realised it; like really realise it. But then in their heart they are. So towards the end of Season 5, we can see that King Julien and Clover had been working together, especially in Karl-Mageddon and also Lord of the Fruit Flies. From my opinion, at like around Episode 10-12, is where King Julien realises that he is in love with Clover; and he wanted her to feel the same for him, but then she is with Sage. And at first, he does not really like her being with Sage, and also is in a way jealous; before he realises that she has her own life. He cannot dictate her, and if by marrying Sage she gets to be happy, then he should let her because he wants her to be happy, it’s just that he hopes that it is he who is making her happy, which is what he is trying to do. And so that’s when all the Frankensage craze comes, he does not want Clover to be sad. And during (probably) the best scene in the entire history of all cartoons, and I am pretty sure, in the entire history of lemurs, the goodbye speech scene; King Julien is basically like painfully accepting Clover’s decision to marry Sage and leave him them, and part of how he can accept that is also because of Clover, as in Clover made him the patient, and to an extent non-selfish lemur he is. It’s very sweet to think about it, I’m crying rn writing this. 

So that’s KJ’s point of view, for Clover…

Now, if you ship Clager (Clover and Sage), you might not want to read this, or if you’re a person like me who does not mind reviews that can be a bit negative on their ships, you can read it but promise not to scold me for expressing my opinions.

So as I said from my opinion Clover does, and still loves King Julien but just doesn’t realise it. She almost, and probably already did but in a way kinda forgotten, in Crimson and Clover, but then Sage is just too…. idk how to say it but like muscle-y and strong, and all that.

She might even realise about her feelings towards King Julien during his goodbye speech, but it’s quite too late and she still loves Sage.

Also, to me, I think Clager will probably not last long. Sage and Clover can live and in a way fit together at first, but I think it will be an unhealthy relationship and they would eventually kinda like slowly part away from each other, so to speak. Sage would not mind, he is well… Sage. But then Clover, after the events of Exiled she would expect Sage to be more of a serious person and a warrior (like Political Mort), which he would just end up being a king whose ambition is to be a colour, or a sound, and he wouldn’t be much of a person who Clover will like in the end. She would love him like he’s the only thing in the world for the first several months or a year, before she eventually will realise that Sage hasn’t changed much and is still the Sage from Eat, Prey, Shove, just a little different. Sage on the other hand, he will love Clover, but he wouldn’t care about her, basically not care about her at all. She can do whatever she wants and all that, which she likes, but then in a condition where Clover will expect Sage to save her or something, there is no 100% guarantee that he really will save her and well, he might end up sacrificing himself to the enemies in hopes that it will free Clover without violence but ends up killing them both. Just an analogy.

So maybe it won’t happen, but then Clover will get bored and might even get in a fight with Sage in the end thus probably causing them to break up and all.

Now this is like a theory of mine that I got while talking to @dazringtail; after King Julien left Madagascar, the kingdom becomes all chaotic (mostly due to Willie [Willie: “What the heck, man!?”]), and then after they tried to handle the situation on their own but failed, one of the sensible ones, Horst, Ted or someone, will call for Clover to help them, especially when they didn’t defend themselves well from the foosas which came right after the New York Giants left. So once Clover comes, she becomes like the governor of Madagascar which becomes like a protectorate of the Mountain Lemur kingdom. And then Clover will fully realise about her feelings towards King Julien, and how he could have been a better choice for her.

Because to me, the relationship between King Julien and Clover will be…. well, sorry to say but better than Clager. Because the two of them, can control the craziness of each other. Look at what the two of them have become after 5 seasons.

Clover, from a paranoid and crazy lemur who doesn’t know about fun and all that, becomes the Clover she is today, who at least, can have a bit of fun instead of seeing fun as beating up random strangers or something.

And King Julien, from the party headed self-centred king who only thinks about him and well, is not at all sorted, so to speak; he becomes who he is today, and as he said to Clover, when she came into his life is when he finally started down the part to becoming the lemur he is today.

So if they can change each other, even without getting married and just being two super close friends; if Clover becomes King Julien’s wife, he would surely listen to her more than before, and probably even not listen to Maurice anymore, so to speak; which he already did as you can see in the past episodes. 

So yeah, that is my opinion of Jover, post-S5.

The two of them unconsciously love each other, and King Julien just realised it, as Clover began to realise about that.
