Decapitan estatua de magnate de la industria cárnica del siglo XIX en Sacramento

Una estatua de Sacramento, California, de Charles Swanston, un magnate de la industria cárnica en el siglo XIX, fue destrozada y le cortaron la cabeza el lunes. Currently on view at Booth Gallery in New York City, New York is "PAINTGUIDE™ NYC,” a group exhibition showcasing a selection of New Contemporary artists.

Currently at 354,000+ followers, @paintguide is an Instagram page created by Henrik Uldalen and Daniela Bezdan originally to feature artwork from both emerging artists and old masters that personally influenced them. The exhibition is the manifestation of social media's impact on the contemporary art community, inviting viewers to examine the line between digital and in-person engagement with fine art.
