William Kamm is in trouble once again, the convicted pedophile has breached his conditions of his prison release. He was rearrested due to using ‘private mode’ on his phone and using incognito mode on his internet browser as well as deleting and altering data on his phone and electronic devices. He will return to court in August 2024.

            Kamm is the leader of the Australian cult, Order of St Charbel who has already served time behind bars for assault. He was released in 2014 and had to be monitored due to the risk of reoffending. He and his wife were arrested in March in Bangalee, NSW for previous offences of grooming a girl from the age 6 into adulthood. When he was in prison he was sending her gifts and was in contact with her.

            Kamm portrays himself as a prophet and tells his followers that the Virgin Mary sends him messages. One of these is to take numerous wives to re-populate the earth. Kamm has groomed, manipulated, assaulted and raped underage girls. He preys on his followers young daughters and tells them that the Virgin Mary wants them to be with him.

            In 1994, he drove a girl, 14 to a hotel who refused his advances which made him angry. Her mother told her to do whatever he wanted as it was ‘God’s will’. He also assaulted young girls whilst giving them lifts home. His letters and diaries contained evidence of these crimes.

            Majority of his followers remain faithful to him. When he was released in 2021 he wasn’t permitted any contact with any person under 18. On release, he was in contact with teenage girls on social media and was using his wife’s Facebook account to do so.

William Kamm and his wife have been arrested over previous sex offences. The police raided his cult headquarters in Bangalee, NSW and will be charging the couple for allegedly grooming a girl from the age of 6 into adulthood. Even when he was in prison he was in contact with the young woman and sending her gifts.

            Kamm is the leader of the Order of St Charbel - a somewhat Catholic movement, he portrays himself as a prophet and tells his followers that the Virgin Mary sends him messages. One of these messages is that he must take numerous wives to re-populate the earth. Kamm has continued to groom, manipulate, assault and rape underage girls. He preys on his follower’s young daughters by writing them letters and telling them that the Virgin Mary wants them to have sex with him and to become his wife.

            In 1994, he drove a 14-year-old girl to a hotel, at the hotel he came onto her and she refused his advances which resulted in him becoming angry with her. He scolded her and told her mother that her ‘daughter refused’ him. Her mother told her to do whatever he wanted to do to her as it was ‘God’s will’. A month later he took the daughter to the hotel to rape her. He also preyed on a follower’s young daughter; he would pick her up after college and would sexually assault her on the way home. His letters and diaries contained evidence of these crimes.

            Kamm was found guilty in 2005 of rape and assault and was released in 2015; his followers remained faithful to him. His supervision order ended in 2021 and he was able to return to his cult headquarters. He wasn’t permitted any contact with anybody under the age of 18. After his released, Kamm, aged 71 was put behind bars once again for contacting teenage girls on social media and was using his wife’s Facebook account to send them messages. In 2022, after pleading guilty he was released after spending one year behind bars.

CULT LEADER WHO WAS FOUND GUILTY OF SEX ASSAULT ON UNDERAGE GIRLS

            Kamm was born in Cologne, West Germany and has been legally married three times.  

            Kamm is the cult leader of Order of St Charbel in Nowra, NSW, Australia. The group is a some-what Catholic movement and his followers believe he is a prophet and he has claimed that the Virgin Mary sends him messages. Kamm has made numerous prophecies which have never come true, he claimed Pope John Paul II would make him a bishop, after the pope died he then changed it to Pope Benedict XVI.

            One of the messages that Kamm said the Virgin Mary gave him, was that he must take numerous wives to re-populate the earth. Kamm groomed, manipulated, assaulted and raped underage girls. He preys on his follower’s daughters by writing them sleazy letters and telling them that the Virgin Mary wants them to have sex and to be one of his wives.

            In 1994, he drove a girl aged 14 to a hotel in order to rape her, whilst at the hotel she refused his advances and he became angry with her. When she returned home she told her mother and her mother told her she should do as he wants with her as it was ‘God’s will’. A month later he returned to the hotel and raped her. 

            He also preyed on a follower’s teenage daughter, he would pick her up at college and would then sexually assault her. Kamm’s letters and diary entries were made public during the trial which contained evidence of this crime.

            Kamm was found guilty in 2005 of rape and assault and served nine years imprisonment and was released in 2015. Many of Kamm’s followers remained loyal to him.

            Kamm’s supervision order ended in 2021 and he was able to return to his property. Kamm wasn’t permitted to have unsupervised contact with anybody under the age of 18. When he was released he remarried one of his followers and changed his name to William Costellia.

            In 2021, Kamm, aged 71 was placed behind bars after allegedly contacting teenage girls via social media, by using his wife’s Facebook account to send them messages. He used a Wordpress blog and deleted his browser history.

            In 2022, he pled guilty in a Sydney court and was released after serving one year behind bars.
