💕Some doodles of my version of Henry!! Copy pasting the below from my YouTube post since I'm lazy and in class rn eek-
Clara and Henry are both, when it comes down to it, kindhearted people- but also people are complex, and kind people aren't solely that XD Clara is far from awful and Henry is not a weirdo- Clara gets bad vibes off of Henry, which isn't helped by the fact he's always been kinda distant from her, her opinion of him made worse by the bite of *83(with his animatronic chomping her youngest son)...and Henry doesn't like Clara much both because, well, even from the start of her and William's relationship he was a little jealous (jealous in a sad resigned way, not a bitter way, he was happy William found a nice lady and Michael a mother) but of course, William being William, pulls a Mariah Reynolds and. Well. Kinda eventually fibs about his wife a little XD despite for awhile having a very good and happy relationship with his wife whom he loves(debatable, ya don't cheat on people you truly love- nor do you lie horribly about them- but from his perspective he loves her), it's not enough for him, when Henry's right there. Clara from the start was also kinda iffy about Henry too.
Henry's a kindhearted, tender guy sure. But also not a completely morally good guy, and also a homewrecker- except a homewrecker under the impression that said marriage was already loveless and dead(at least though, he did feel guilty regardless, which is part of why he's kinda icy here alongside being under the impression that Clara isn't a nice partner to Will- he feels GUILTY- not just for sleeping with her husband but, he ALSO feels he is responsible for the bite of 83). YIPPEEEEEE!!
So basically; They've both got a lot going on, and under different circumstances they'd probably be friendly. Alas; Henry is sleeping with her husband(something she doesn't know until later), Clara thinks Henry is the one MOSTLY responsible for the Bite of *83, Henry also feels responsible for the Bite of '83 as well as his own kid's death, Henry is also under the impression Clara isn't a very nice individual and that William is in a soured marriage(this belief being fed even moreso whenever she acts off around him, because he acts off around her and she was also never really keen on him from the beginning due to the vibes and neither was he but for a different reason and AAAA tis a cycle).

ONE MORE NIGHT (FNAF AU/REWRITE TIMELINE)
Tumblr media
(This will be updated over time)
This is the general timeline in which my fic that I keep posting art of is in, just so the general idea is out there yknow. At the time of posting this, none of the parts have currently been released at all, this will hopefully change soon, and when it does, this will be updated.
NIGHT ONE (Part 1): (1/?? Released (all chapters planned)) POV: Majority Henry Emily & William Afton (Sometimes Micheal/Charlie) GAMES INCLUDED: FNAF 4
Link: One More Night Part 1
NIGHT TWO (Part 2): (Not in Progress) POV: Majority Micheal Afton & Jeremy Fitzgerald GAMES INCLUDED: FNAF 2 & SISTER LOCATION
NIGHT THREE (Part 3): (Not in Progress) POV: Micheal Afton GAMES INCLUDED: FNAF 1
NIGHT FOUR (Part 4): (Not in Progress) POV: ??? GAMES INCLUDED: FNAF 3
NIGHT FIVE (Part 5): (Not in Progress) POV: ??? GAMES INCLUDED: FNAF 6
Notes:
The different 'parts' will not be different chapters, but different fics entirely. There is so much stuff shoved into each individual part that if I put them all into one singular Ao3 fic it would be like 100 chapters. Sorry if thats annoying, I enjoy my organization. Each part for the most part should be able to be enjoyed separately, however they do all connect together like a big bad spiderweb.. or i guess a cork board with a shit load of red string.
Majority generally just means it'll be mainly part of their POV however in certain chapters it may change for story reasons.
"???" for the character POV's just mean I'm not willing to reveal that yet.
This is a rewrite/AU, its not going to be accurate to canon however I try to be. Most if not all main canonical events will likely happen in some capacity within the AU, generally it may be tweaked as some aspects of the story I do not like/I've changed to have a deeper impact.
(Spoiler Free) "What is this AU even about??" Below the cut
What is the AU even about??
Thought I'd properly go into it.
ONE MORE NIGHT is a Five Night's at Freddy's AU/Rewrite, that generally follows the main events and story of the original GAMES franchise, with some very minor inspirations from the books. The story will be written in third-person, and will occasionally swap point of views (in-between chapters) throughout the fic.
The story itself is more character and relationship focused. Themes i wish to explore include, the destruction of the mind/spiralling, (the stages of) grief, revenge , etc. Since generally, i dont really enjoy the fanon characterization of certain characters, I really want to explore them from my point of view, as well as develop the relationships and motivations of all the characters which I feel are sort of lacking in the main FNAF media? I'm aware its there, its never truly properly explored though.
I really like horror, and this is my first proper opportunity to get a crack at it. I highly doubt its going to be shiver me timbers terrifying, I try my best. If you want a reference for the type of horror I'm into and what I am inspired by, its mainly media such as, The Magnus Archives, as well as a few more gothic works such as Frankenstein (currently reading the book).
Content Warnings:
This story will likely include pretty graphic depictions of violence, ESPECIALLY when in referral to Micheal Afton, Jeremy Fitzgerald and William Afton, you'll never guess why. I will tag these chapters, and if needed, will provide a brief summery at the end if a person is to skip past it but doesnt want to miss what happened. Generally, i will try to avoid describing the children too graphically, since theyre, yknow, kids. But uh, yknow, its FNAF, so be warned.
Other general warnings, outside of the warnings I'll give on individual chapters include, Abusive relationships, (mild) suicidal thoughts, and sensitive topics such as grief and loss. I'm sure theres stuff I'm missing, these will be tagged in specific chapters.
Extra content?
If you want content for this AU, itll be on my page under the hashtag (#OneMoreNightFNAFAU) or (#OMN FNAF AU). Generally I have no idea if anyone ever would read this fic, so if you, specifically, the one guy reading this, IS interested, most of the stuff will be on this page. Tumblr only likes my FNAF stuff so its all i post really on here, and I love FNAF so thats fine with me.
If this is the first post you've ever seen of me and like, you dont know what i usually post, I usually post art, specifically of this AU, so if you want to get a general looksie about the vibes of the characters and stuff, its on my page under the hashtag mentioned above.
(Side note: For the record, when i say 'relationships' this mainly refering to platonic relationships within the story. Theres a very minor romance side plot which you can like, easily choose to ignore, but its there, and its horrifically slow slowburn, so its like barely there 90% of the time. If i was to do anything too romance based, it would probably be separate one shots.)
(side note note: if you.. read this far.. once i finally finish this.. my magnum opus... i will probably finally move on to security breach and all that, if youre interested. but to get to that you have to get past my 5 evil fnaf fics first.)
Any support would be deeply appreciated, you have no idea. :) I'd love to know if anyone would be interested.

HEADCANON
William has various, seemingly affectionate nicknames for Henry, among them "Momma hen" or straight up "Hen" (Last one a sneaky "Hun/ny".
Henry has told him various times to not call him this but eventually gave up when seeing that Afton didn't listen.
BELOW EXPANSION ON WHAT THE IDEA SUGGESTS.
‼️ABUSIVE/TOXIC RELATIONSHIP, VIOLATION OF BOUNDARIES, VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR, SUGGESTED/VAGUE AF SEXUAL HARRASSMENT???? AT LEAST HARRASSMENT IN GENERAL‼️
William, in his complicated obsession with Henry, tends to try and stretch his business partner's boundaries, sometimes trying to see what he can get away with to force their dynamic into being more intimate, sometimes testing the boundaries to become more violent and physical when mad at his friend.
Henry wouldn't realize initially, advances and agressions like those were far between and few. But whenever he'd be uncomfortable, would tell William to stop, but Afton never truly listened. Maybe Afton would stop the worst agressions but keep on disrespecting other boundaries or simply would ignore Henry's objections and treating them as playful banter, diminishing the gravity of the situation.
Henry's resistance was short lived, however. It was a mix of fear of confrontation, love for his friend, no third opinion on the dynamic as well as his internal justification of William's harrassment, that lead to Henry giving up and allowing Afton to go on with the nicknames and uncomfortable attitude. He got used to it in a reluctant or helpless way to the point it became normalized and explained it away as "just how he is".
Who knows if he would draw the line in agressive/lightly violent mistreatment (Not in the romantic/creepy way he harrasses Henry) towards children, his own, William's or others'. Maybe he'd draw the line there or maybe he would stand back and think "It's just how he is". Would Henry really notice anything wrong going on with their children? Would he at least be vaguely aware and preferring not to do anything about it? Or would he be completely oblivious, too immersed in himself and his work to truly aknowledge any of the bad things happening to the people around him and himself?

I know you’ve tackled this a little bit, but how do you think William Afton (loser) parents his children? Like in the games and movies. And if you think there are any differences between universes.
I think the difference between Afton’s actions in the games and in the movie is his intent behind having a family.
In the games, I believe having a large family was for the grand facade he was building. It was a checkbox on his list of requirements he needed for success. I’d like to believe Michael remembers when William was a good dad, all those years ago, but his “love” always stemmed from his need for control. So when Fredbear’s Family Diner came along, William became enchanted with the animatronics: they were predictable, he was able to change the way they behaved. If they ever malfunctioned, well that was just a reflection of his and Henry’s failure. He was barely at home anymore, though he was very much an absent father when he was.
Michael, on the other hand, had hit the age where he acted out more—mostly to get William’s attention. His unpredictability drove William insane. CC and Elizabeth came around not too long later, William’s attempt to feel the same amount of control over them he felt when Michael was young. When Mrs. Afton left the picture, William’s mindset was still on himself and his slow climb to success. Michael had to take on the responsibility of his siblings instead, though he was Bad at it. Because he was a kid and this was never a responsibility he was supposed to hold.
In the movie franchise however, William just has Vanessa. I never imagine a Mrs. Afton really existing in this universe at all, so I usually think of her as died early on in Vanessa’s life—to the point where she doesn’t even remember her. Rather than William choosing Freddy’s over his family life, these two became deeply intertwined as Vanessa never left his side. My main HC about the movies is that, before the MCI, William and Vanessa looked like the “perfect family” to the rest of the town, despite it being just the two of them. William was everything anyone could ever want in a father, he even accredited the success of his animatronics to his daughter’s unwavering support. However, I still think that William’s “love” still stemmed from his need for control. Vanessa was the perfect daughter because she listened.
As mentioned before, I think the big shift in their dynamic happened when Vanessa witnessed the MCI. Suddenly, her perception of her “perfect father” shattered and her childhood and innocence died all at once in those backrooms. Post-MCI, William tried to continue his facade. He acted the same as he did prior, though to Vanessa, it was horrifically jarring to see him smiling and laughing after What She Saw. So she began to act out, began throwing tantrums William mentioned in the FNAF movie. Once William realized the “perfect family” he’d spent so long curating was unrecoverable, did he finally drop the act. This kinda relates to another ask sitting in my askbox rn but I think the first time William physically laid a hand on Vanessa was during one of these tantrums—shocking both of them. The moment William realized he still had control and the moment Vanessa realized she was not immune to her father’s anger. Other than this moment, the extent of William’s physical abuse laid in intimidation. A grab of the collar or face to keep Vanessa’s eyes on him. Or bruising grip on her arm to remind her that he has the power in this relationship. I think William using the anger he knew Vanessa had and turning it into violence (her being forced to become his accomplice) was a form of punishment to make her like him in a way that she couldn’t escape.
Anyways i’m normal about these characters (<- highk not sure any of this is coherent because i wrote this on the way to school)

Hey dogman, idk if you answered this
Who, out of both DSAF and Dialtown, was your favourite to write and/or create?
It's very hard for me to pick favourites with my characters because I don't tend to give characters a lot of screen-time unless I find a character interesting or fun to write. You've caught me in a talkative mood, so warning, there's an onslaught of text coming!
DSaF: Dave was the most fun to write for, as I remember it. I mean, the guy is the walking personification of chaos and even when he's being constructive (eg, rigging robots to do insane stuff), it's usually in a destructive capacity. Dave will do LITERALLY ANYTHING but contribute to society in meaningful/valuable ways.
In terms of what character-writing I was most 'proud' of, I was also pretty happy with Dr Henry Miller, as a villain. Namely the research he embarked on, described in his logs in DSaF 3 (which the fandom evidently agreed with, as I got really strong feedback on those logs.)
One issue a lot of people (including myself) have with canon William Afton is that he's this kind of mad scientist character but his research doesn't really seem to be... idk, going anywhere? Other than using remnant (soul nectar?) to make kids possess robots, it's kind of a mystery how he got to this point he did from running a bad fast food restaurant. William gets fleshed out motivations in TSE and even then, it mainly revolves around his relationship with Henry Emily, iirc. It's actually pretty accurate to how real serial killers think, imo, but there's a pretty wide berth between this kind of serial killer and becoming a sci-fi fast-food mad scientist... So, I decided to try to bridge that gap.
DSaF Henry's logs actually mention where the idea for his research came from, namely the fact that he existed in a world with normal scientific rules just like ours and seemingly discovered something supernatural, and he approaches it like an amoral scientist would - trying to figure out how to figure out more about the fabric of reality using the newly discovered phenomenon of possession. The 'joy of creation' phrase people pulled from Golden Freddy's phone call in FNaF 1 is given context - Henry is trying to find out what's on the other side (and eventually, how existence itself formed.)
There's other aspects to his character that make him more interesting too, like the implication that his research is partially an excuse for him to act on an underlying sadism (with scenes implying that he inflicts damage on others than can't be justified as assisting with his research.) His background as a dissident/quack laughing-stock scientist (thanks to pushing his soul theory in a best-selling book, which is considered pseudoscience) BEFORE he embarked on his journey to become a fast food tycoon also makes it less farfetch'd that he'd be capable of y'know, harvesting human souls intentionally to continue his research?
I had more for the character on paper that people haven't seen but some of it wasn't revealed due to it feeling a bit too disturbing to publish. None of the contents would've been all that controversial, more just too tonally disturbing when written about in detail (like a omitted part from his backstory/lore post where he managed to pick up a hazy audio of his wife + son's crying from the radio of the car his wife/son drowned in and reacted with genuine elation upon realizing he'd discovered a new scientific phenomenon (as this was the first time Henry witnessed soul-possession.)) Yeah.
I don't feel much of a need to revisit Henry as a character because as a series villain, he was pretty thoroughly-written and he did his job effectively... And his fate was well earned! (He even got an epilogue short-story a few years back, further cementing his fate!)
Dialtown: From the characters/writing that the fandom has seen? Tough to say. I genuinely really like every DT character. Gingi and Mayor Mingus are two of my favourite characters to write for because they're both really insistent and react to adversity in a really comically indignant way. Mingus is more like Gingi than she cares to admit in very specific ways, which is the core hypocrisy of her character - she's one of the most abnormal things IN Dialtown, and spends the game on a quest opposing abnormality that she, herself, can't stand.
Many absolute rulers have debilitating physical and/or mental cruxes and despite that, usually have the final say on what is/isn't okay, often guided by arbitrary preferences. It's funny to remember all of the ancient kings and emperors who dictated how others should act, talk and even think, when very many of them themselves were anything except a good reflection of their own subjects! It's an irony I quite enjoy and leads to a fun character to write for!
My favourite DT writing is probably some of my Callum Crown speech drafts. I have a definite bias here since Crown's character is based on many figures I've encountered in my own reading (and his story relates to topics I enjoy reading about.) A lot of that is real nerd shit that wouldn't be interesting to 99.9% of DT fans (like a long conversation where Crown + Milt discuss a campaign speech Milt wrote for Crown and they bicker about if the wording/arguments used are truly honest.) Again, not super relevant to Dialtown-proper, but it explains a lot about why the world of DT ended up the way it did.
Realistically, the story of Dialtown itself is basically a weird little epilogue to a story that ended decades upon decades ago, centered around a bunch of small-town nobodies circling around the carcass of the last surviving main character of the old story.
I'm also very happy with Gingi's character partially because I know more about Gingi's past/future than you guys do. Gingi has such rotten memory that Gingi's backstory before DT's story begins is basically a complete mystery. Thanks to Gingi never getting close enough to any humans before laying its eggs, there's nobody in Gingi's life that can fill in the gaps. Companionship means so much to Gingi because prior to meeting The Gang, Gingi is aware of a massive and unknown block of time that's a complete mystery precisely because Gingi had nobody in its life. To Gingi, this time was basically akin to being non-sentient or dead, and Gingi would never go back.
While I was making DSaF, I drafted a ton of other stories on paper. I considered making most of them, but decided not to for various reasons, despite getting some solid feedback from collaborators. Bits of almost all of those project ideas made it into DT, with Gingi having traits from several other main characters I prototyped years and years ago. This includes where Gingi came from and what exactly Gingi is. I don't want to mislead people into thinking Gingi is more important than it is, like Gingi is the key to unlocking DT lore (I promise there's a LOT of aimless scuttling/devouring in Gingi's past and relatively little else!) BUT: Of everything from those old scrapped projects, Gingi is what I decided deserved to survive the most. And that has to count for something.
One day I'd love to make sequels to DT and perhaps explore some of the stuff I've described above, like why the hell the world of DT is the way it is or maybe where the hell Gingi spawned from. Thanks

Battered and Bruised pt.2
William Afton x (fem) employee reader
Tumblr media
synop: It's your first shift back after the clusterfuck that was last time, but it's not ever going to be smooth sailing.
warnings: bad language, inappropriate relationships, violence, and the joys of customer service.
link to pt.1 - here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Henry pulled some strings for you, moved your rota around so that you had a few days off post the ‘incident’, which you are thankful for. You kept yourself in your flat, only leaving to do a food shop which was bad enough with all the looks you received. The bruising on your face seemed to be taking it's time in clearing up and your arm was no where near fixed, though at least you can hide that.
It's an odd feeling to be off work knowing the trouble you caused, but still, when you’re putting your work uniform on an odd sense of relief washes over you. Finally, some normality and some delicious social interaction, both of which you’re in dire need of.
...
The walk to work was nicely familiar and by the time you’re breezing through the back door to the club you’re whistling under your breath. You make it to the staff area, after having said hello to nearly everyone on shift, and chuck your bag in your locker, turning the lock and sliding the key into your pocket. Then you head for the offices to find your manager and your role for the night. A large part of you is hoping it's William you’ll catch first though you don’t really know why. Maybe you want to apologise, maybe you just want to see if he looks more banged up than you. It isn’t though, rather it’s Henry that you meet the moment you enter the corridor.
“Hiya, Henry.” You greet him chipper enough, but that same part of you is a little disappointed.
He smiles at you and runs his eyes over your form in the sleazy way he normally does. “Hey, sweetheart. You’re looking much better since the last time I saw you. You feeling better?” He’s standing next to you in a heartbeat, a little too close to be appropriate and it pulls your lips into a small smile.
You narrow your brows at the question, you weren’t exactly off sick, you just had some scrapes, so you’re pretty much feeling exactly the fucking same. Despite that thought, you keep your words pleasant, “Yeah, thanks. Glad to be back if I’m honest.”
Your boss looks more than a bit surprised by that, no one is ever glad to be here. “Good good.” He says, like you keeping his true thoughts to himself. “Now, I was hoping to try you on the door tonight… but if you’re not up for it that’s okay.”
Your eyes go wide with hesitation but sensing that you don’t really have a choice you go for, “No, I’m happy to give it a go.”
…
Now, when you said that you did assume that you’d have a buddy with you. Preferably one of the big scary guys, but no. No, you’re standing at the entrance to the club on your lonesome, with a tin of pepper spray on your hip and a metal detecting wand in your hands. To Henry’s credit, he did give you some instructions before pissing off, something along the lines of ‘Scan them, if they have anything that can hurt someone; bag it and tag it. ID people who look under 25. If they give you lip, send them away.” It sounds alright, it’s relatively inside your skill set but like all customer service roles it’s never going to be as simple as it sounds.
To be fair, most people were decent, happy enough to let you scan them, telling you that the beeping is their belt or a risque piercing, whichever applies. You had some kiddos mouthing off when you ask for ID, half the group is just 18 and one of them has the shoddiest fake ID you’ve ever seen, so you send the lot of them packing. Apart from that, the shift was going well… until it wasn’t.
It wasn’t overly busy after midnight, it tends to be a quiet spell until 1 or 2am when people flock from other establishments, so you’re enjoying the break. The only thing you’d change was having your cigarettes in your pocket rather than languishing in your locker. It’s as you’re thinking about how nice a smoke would be right now that a couple walks over to you. Mid twenties you’d guess; a lady looking brilliant in a figure-hugging white dress and a bloke wearing an armani shirt you’ve seen at least four times tonight already. Something about the swagger of that man told you he was going to be a twat long before he stood in front of you.
“Hi, you alright?” You greet the two, pleasant but firm as you’ve learnt tends to work best here.
The lad nods in acknowledgement and the woman smiles, there’s a restlessness in her stance that shows how eager she is to get inside and have a good time.
“Right, if it’s okay, I’m going to give yous a quick scan. Just for security, you know.” You explain whilst gesturing with the wand, the words are becoming very natural off your tongue after saying them for the umpteenth time. “If you’ve got anything metal in your pockets you can pop it on the side.” Spiel over, you gesture to the metallic slab beside you and the woman puts her handbag on there, the man sighs before overdramatically reaching into his pocket and pulling out his wallet, phone and rather disturbingly, a swiss army knife, all placed noisily on the surface.
You frown automatically, here we go. Not commencing with the scan, you address the gentleman, “Right. Unfortunately, I can’t let you go in with the uh knife. But I’m happy to put it in a bag for you and take your name so you can grab it on the way out?”
You expected this guy to complain, maybe make a bit of a fuss but eventually agree or simply piss off out your sight. Instead the man scoffed before bluntly saying, “It’s not a knife.”
It’s this moment William chooses to step outside for a fag, well, that’s what he told Henry. Truth be told he nearly hit the ceiling when he was told you’re on door duty, on your own, with no fucking training. So he was popping out for a look, to see how you’re getting on. What he wanted to see was this couple going inside after a moment’s chat, instead he seems to be witnessing some kind of standoff.
Visibally buffering, you try to understand what the fuck that’s supposed to mean, ‘It’s not a knife’, you blink uncertainly before taking it upon yourself to explain again. You point at the weapon, “You can’t take the knife inside.”
Rolling his eyes, the man snatches the object from the surface, flicking it open with angry theatrics. It’s enough for William to come over, face instantly stern. “It’s not a fucking knife. It’s a comb and nail file for fuck’s sake.” The man says, the complaint spat at you and you stare dumbfounded. Yes, there is a comb and file on it. But this prick neglects to mention the fuck-off blade glinting in the low light. You glance at your boss ,then at the woman, as if to say, ‘are yous hearing this?’ The latter looks increasingly mortified and your boss looks irritated.
“Listen, mate.” You try to be cordial but a disbelieving chuckle escapes you, “I’m not worried you’re going to go in there and open a fucking beauticians, okay? That is a weapon and they are prohibited from this club.” How many times does this guy need to hear the same thing, you internally question, hoping that the tall imposing presence of your boss would let the words sink in his thick skull.
The bloke flicks his eyes to the new presence, the grave expression on William’s face is seemingly enough to make him resign. He shoves the knife in his pocket again, before grabbing the rest of his belongings on the surface. Muttering under his breath the whole time, “Fucking ridiculous. Stupid fucking-” He gives you a venemous look, forcing you to hold back the amusement that was tugging at your lips, before turning to his date, “Don’t just stand there, come on then, we’ll go somewhere else.”
The woman frowns at being snapped at, and that’s enough for you to want to ruin this bastard’s night completely. So you put your attention on the lady, “You don’t have to go, love.” You grin at the way the man freezes in your peripheral vision, doubling down on your plan. “There's a good crowd in there, good music tonight… In fact, to make up for all this trouble, why don’t you go in there and tell Carlo on the bar that I sent you, get your first drink on me.”
At the word ‘trouble’ you nod towards her date and it makes the lady smile. She takes a moment to think about it, before glancing at the man and simply saying, “Sorry, Jay. I can’t refuse that.” You step back and grab the door for the lady to go inside, she thanks you under her breath and you hope you’ve saved her a night of pain.
You flash the guy a somewhat mean smirk, and send him on his way with, “Have a good night, mate.” He lingers for a second taut with indignation before walking away in a huff.
When he’s a great distance away you turn to William with raised eyebrows. “As if it took you here for him to get the message, ridiculous.”
Your boss sniggers, finally getting about lighting the cigarette he came out here for. He can’t stop himself from smirking a fair bit, there’s something about you that is inherently funny, a true lack of giving a shit that drips off all your actions. Still snickering he says, “You make a habit of stealing people’s girls?”
That has you smiling, “Only when they’re complete arseholes. I’d take her home to prove the point.” You look at him nonchalantly, a glint in your eye suggesting that you're only half joking.
Though he’s amused, something about the casual delivery of that makes arousal lay her hot hands on him. It’s inappropriate and he lightly chides himself for it, but the internal disapproval is outweighed by wondering why the image of you and that lass together has almost instantly given him a semi. He’s not complaining, but it’s odd.
The silence is short but unable to sit in it you pipe up. “Are you out here checking I haven't started another fight, then?” You watch the man to see if any trace of that handsome smirk remains, but his face is unreadable as he takes a drag of his cigarette. The exhaled smoke in front of you has your fingers tapping against your side, that stalemate must’ve stressed you out more than you initially thought.
“Pretty much.” He says stoically, the dryness of the words making your grin freeze awkwardly on your face. He must register that because he continues, the words more mumbled than before, “Henry having you out here on your own makes a certain word spring to mind, one of my least favourite fucking words.”
Okay, you’ll bite. “And what’s that?”
William can’t help the crooked smile that spreads, unwanted, across his face. “Negligence.”
You're glad of your blameless status in that, but can’t resist standing up for yourself and your other boss. Or more likely, you can’t resist poking a little more. “Maybe he just thinks I’m capable.”
Smoke leaves him as he snickers, “Capable or not doesn’t matter. Daft fuck has no idea what it’s like to stand out here talking to angry pissheads all night.”
You smile, fingers still rhythmic and frequent against your thigh. That confirms one of your suspicions, your employers are like chalk and cheese and one of them definitely only seems to be concerned with the lighthearted side of running a club. The other seems to be a bit too wrapped up in the heavy side of it though. The two owners’ dynamic is all the talk of the lowly employees like you and you must admit, it’s entertaining as hell.
A silence comes over the two of you and you struggle to think of anything to say to fill it over your growing need for a smoke, stoked beyond belief by the man beside you. He notices your agitation and the restless movement of your hands, his attention fully on your body language, searching for any inclination as to why you’re on edge.
Feeling his gaze, you’re pushed to explain yourself, “I wasn’t going to ask but uh- is there any chance I can borrow a cig?” All blasé-ness is dropped and you ask honestly.
William raises his eyebrows at you and for a brief moment you feel stupid for even having the nerve to ask. How unprofessional. But he puts you at rest. “Yeah, alright.” He reaches for his pocket where a box of fags must be stowed away, and you smile, remembering the old adage of don’t ask don’t get, you’ve been quoted at since you were a kid.
The box is crumpled with use, the fold dog-eared, clearly always in and out the man’s pocket, your own look very similar. He hands you the cigarette through a pinched finger and thumb and you’re more than glad to take it.
“Thanks, William. Really thanks.” You flash a self-deprecating smile, quickly putting the instrument between your lips, leaving your hand open for the lighter you assume he’s going to pass you. Instead, your boss brings the lighter to you, opting to light it for you. It forces you to step a little closer to him to meet him halfway, it’s a bit personal and it pushes your mind back to the last time you were in his space, the lack of pain on his face when you cleaned up his injuries making your core tense.
He catches a flame on the first flick of the rollerball, something you can never bloody do, and you thank him again as the end flickers into life. They’re cheap cigs but it’s exactly what you need. William watches you draw on the cigarette, you make it look good, too good really; god there’s something wrong with him tonight.
So to distract himself he asks, “How’s your arm?”
“Same as my face.” You grin, “Fading but still there.” Your delivery is riddled with self-consciousness,  but at least you’re still smiling, that’s all you can do after all.
The cigarette sits between your lips as you roll your sleeve up to show your boss the damage. Not nearly as bad as it was the day of, but the wicked scratches still make him frown, what a wanker that guy was, he hopes the man is still bed-bound. That’s the thing about fighting, even if you’re relatively okay, the evidence of it is written on your skin and the shame is often enough to keep you away from others. William is still wearing the proof of his role now, but at least he doesn’t have to explain it to his ex-wife anymore.
“It looks much better.” Your boss pulls his gaze off your arm to see that mischievous look on your face.
“Yeah.” You pause for a second, weighing up if you’re really about to say the thought banging around in your head, you shouldn’t but yeah, yeah you’re going to. You gesture to the injuries on his face, the dulling bruises and the scabbed over split brow fighting for dominance, “You’re looking better too… maybe don’t hang around here though, you’ll be scaring people away.”
Your risk pays off because his facade cracks, “Charming.” A small smile finds its way on his face and he shakes his head, he must be going soft because if anyone else had said that to him he certainly wouldn’t be smiling.
Unable to resist explaining yourself, you continue, “I’m only kidding, you know you wear it well.” You probably shouldn’t have said that, you’re all but saying that you think he’s fit, and true or not it’s not really a good thing to say to your boss. This is proved by him catching your gaze, a stern look back on his face which makes your body go rigid, yep you should not have said that.
A heavy beat of silence washes over the two of you, his poker face is too good, you’ve no idea if you’ve pissed him off or not so you just bite your tongue.
Which was probably for the best, if you’d continued down that line, he has no idea what he’d have done.
William eventually puts an end to the awkwardness, flicking his dog-end down on the floor, snuffing it out with his shoe. "I'm going to get someone out here with you, hopefully it'll keep the knobheads in check."
You give him a wry smile, "Yeah, that's probably for the best."
He nods in response, already moving past you to go through the main entrance, a sudden urge seizes hold of you and you stick your hand out to catch the crook of his arm. Your boss's head flicks around quick, judgement heavy in the way he's looking at you.
"Here." You take a moment to really think about your phrasing here, you want to reflect how genuine you really are. "I just want to make sure that you know I'm grateful for you stepping in the other night."
His brows raise briefly, "I know. You said thank you. A lot." His words are so dry you have no idea if he's happy or angry about what happens. You just can't get an accurate reading.
You laugh uncertainly, muttering, "Yeah but you haven't said if I'm welcome to it or not."
He hears, and before slipping inside tilts his head down a little. "I haven't decided if you are yet."

can you give me some william x fiona crumbs. to steal. What are your concepts im trying to make a vision because im doing this too but I need to kjnd of steal from your beautiful mind and point of view 🧐🧐🧐 ballad gets the real moneymaking ideas from files I fear...
i have like my own Vision in my head for how this.is gonna go as a side plot ☝️ but just lay it on me. your wise words . my inspo my Muse
HEHEHHEHEHE..... HAIII OKAY.. gladly *cracks knuckles* fiona x william ......... OKAY SO LIKE. i feel the need to speak on their possible chemistry based on canon first because everything trickles diwn from here in my mind naturally: edwin murray literally just hates women i fear, guy who made his wife into a robot after death and she has lost all her passions besides being a mother and wife. Curious Mr Murray.... and the emotional and physical neglect of both his wife and child. edwin murray isnt really a people person, hes an inventor and hes ambitious but hes not connected to the humanity in the arts(points to the ai written, acted, produced tv show etc.) whereas William is like almost like painfully so ... like hes a childrens entertainer, he physically performs in the suit, William is invested in the arts in a very intimate and personal way much like Fiona and i think that is where they click a lot and like everything kind of evolves from there.
OKAY NOW.... FREDDY FILES...... GRINS HORRIFICALLY😁 like my main line of pondering is kind of like a slow progression of their relationship over time and certain events, i think they were probably on good terms for the most part like real early on henry introduced will to edwin and fiona and they clicked, i think her and ed probably had deep issues even before like everything wrnt seriosuly downhill and maybe something beautiful blossomed breifly between will and fi that they dont talk about.... lol. anyways, i dont think william was ever like crazy about edwin but like its cordial at the beginning and eventually like it goes sour, fiona and will arent on bad terms with each other personally but they do distance naturally as william is like i hate this stupid bitch edwin...🙄 and like some time passes the relationship between ed and will further dissintegrates, henry is still like friendly with ed but its kind like when your two besties are fighting and youre in the middle like girl idk .... :/ but edwin is kind of like crazy af also and hes like idk william i kinda get it actually so its like. henry and william are still pretty close, henrys still keeping his ties with edwin though but theyre not as close as they were. anyways more shit happens and like maybeeee when williams social life is kinda going downhill, him and henry are a bit rocky and whatever like he needs a bitch who gets him and also isnt a prissy cunt. cue fiona, they get back in contact and start talking and like shit happens whilst theyre slowly reconnecting, mcm is doing bad, edwins getting crazier, shes stressed and worried and all that. and william is kind of like her rock at this point in her life, she kind of starts getting like erm...... the sensitive and effeminate ally william afton is kinda.. *blushes* and like they HAD something before this and it comes back and shes like ARGHH...... my stupud husband..... i still like edwin despite it all but like. girl i need stability and beauty and truth in my life and the environment im in is NOT doing it for me. and then old willie hits her with the golden ticket.... a shimmering beacon of light in her ever sinking pit.... an opportunity, exclusive, just for her and her ONLY. a chance to get back on her feet, support her child, and doing smth that she personally enjoys and is passionate about and fulfilling... and its awesome but shes also conflicted like she doesnt wanna straight up abandon edwin but its also like she knows she cant keep living like this. so shes like.... okay....... I AM INTERESTED but i need some time and william is like ofc babey.
**coughs**** and like ermmmm more shit happens im trying to stay on topic ....... and like i think at some point she becomes a like double agent. MCM is actively going to shit, william wants his FUCKING springlock schematics back cause edwin was like yeah ill give em okay haha..(newsflash, didnt happen) and so fionas like yeah i can get em for you its fine.. grins and it evolves into something brilliant like hes like listen girl ik you like your shitty husband... and mcm is still competition..... and its gonna take some time to get your situation situated lol. so like why not double dip the chip a bit. it cant be that bad. smirk devilishly, and like shes like yeah okay edwins a bitch, i still dont wanna abandon him just oit of the blue and it would help to have both connections whilst trying to start something beautiful... i can maybe .... help you speed up the process. edwin would never expect (a woman) his wife to go behind his back like this, and its not like hes paying attention to her anyways so its like heehee♡ anyways william is like i hateeee your stupid husband... i want to tear him and his gay little company to shreds esp after all this crazy shit, and like thats where the ball is rolling.
i think thats kinda where im at rn.... fiona and william making out and having like beautiful lesbian relationship behind edwin whilst his shit falls apart mostly due to his own folly, and then like because shes sick of his shit and will is sick of his shit and everything is going to hell anyways is like yeassss i will help you destroy his company from the inside out..... god i love when beautiful women are schemeing <- me and william say in unison♡
i still havent like figured out exactlyyyyy what i wanna do w the david situation and also fallfest i wanna do smth with fallfest but its not too clear in my mind atm..... like ibhave some Ideas but not anything supah solid yah feel me. but like. the jist you get my jist....... okay #MyJist
i kind of also feel like im forgetting smth but its whatever ill elaborate later if i remember or smrh else beautiful comes to mind.... anways hehe♡ okay♡ yaay♡

🌸 Lizzie & Charlie 🌸 (Best Friends, Almost Sisters)
Out of everyone, Charlie was her closest friend. They had that natural big sister/little sister dynamic—Charlie was protective and patient, while Lizzie was a little dramatic and mischievous.
Lizzie admired Charlie a lot, not just because she was Henry's daughter, but because she seemed so kind, wise, and mature—everything Lizzie struggled to be.
Charlie, in return, found Lizzie endearing but worrying. She could see that Lizzie was dealing with stuff that she wasn’t always willing to talk about.
Charlie is one of the few people Lizzie would allow to call her "Betty." 💖
Lizzie and Charlie probably talked about their fathers a lot—Charlie would talk about Henry being distant, while Lizzie would pretend her dad was still amazing (but deep down, she knew he wasn’t).
🍬 Lizzie & Susie 🍬 (Sweet but Tragic)
If Charlie was her “big sister figure,” then Susie was like a little sister to her.
Lizzie was extremely protective of Susie, even if she could be bossy with her sometimes. She saw Susie as innocent and kind in a way that she could never be again.
They probably bonded over loving sweets and cute things. Lizzie would excitedly share her love of ice cream and candies with Susie, and they’d make plans to have little “tea parties” together.
I think Susie probably knew that Lizzie was struggling emotionally, but she was too sweet and non-confrontational to push Lizzie to talk about it.
After Susie’s death, I think Lizzie would have felt immense guilt. She’d wonder if she could’ve done something to protect her—just like she wondered about Evan.
👑 Lizzie & Cassidy 👑 (Tension & Understanding)
Ooooh this one is complicated. Cassidy and Lizzie probably had a lot of tension because Cassidy didn’t trust William, and Lizzie struggled to accept the truth about him.
I imagine Cassidy was blunt and didn’t hold back—"Your dad is a liar." "He doesn’t love you, Lizzie."—and Lizzie hated hearing it. She’d get defensive, angry, even snap back.
But deep down, Lizzie feared Cassidy was right.
I think their relationship would’ve been a mix of rivalry and reluctant understanding. Cassidy didn’t hate Lizzie—if anything, she pitied her—but she also couldn’t stand Lizzie’s denial.
Post-death? Oh, boy. I think Cassidy would’ve been absolutely furious at William for what he did, and that anger might’ve extended to Lizzie for a while... until she realized Lizzie was just as much a victim as they were.
🎭 Lizzie & Fritz 🎭 (Casual Buddies, Joke Partners)
Fritz and Lizzie were probably casual friends who messed around a lot. Fritz was the type to pull pranks and tell jokes, and Lizzie—while more dramatic—could totally match his chaotic energy.
If Lizzie was in a bad mood, though, she had zero patience for his jokes and would just glare at him. Fritz learned real quick when to back off. 💀
I like to imagine that, when Lizzie was younger, Fritz once told her a really stupid joke that made her laugh so hard she cried, and she still remembers it even after everything.
He definitely called her "Lizard" just to mess with her.
🎮 Lizzie & Jeremy 🎮 (Big Brother Vibes)
Jeremy was a little more serious than Fritz, and I think he saw Lizzie as kind of annoying but amusing—like a little cousin who won’t stop talking.
He might’ve been one of the only people (besides Charlie) who could calm Lizzie down when she was angry or reckless.
If Mike wasn’t around, Jeremy probably acted like a temporary older brother to Lizzie—but unlike Mike, he was actually kind to her.
He might’ve even taught Lizzie how to play arcade games, which she sucked at, but she tried anyway.
I think Lizzie respected Jeremy a lot, but never told him directly.
🦊 Lizzie & Gabriel 🦊 (Mutual Respect, Occasional Fights)
Gabriel was probably the "leader" of the group, and Lizzie could sometimes find that annoying.
He was smart, responsible, and a little bit bossy—which clashed with Lizzie’s own stubbornness.
They probably bickered a lot, but deep down, Lizzie respected him. And Gabriel, despite acting like he had everything under control, knew Lizzie was dealing with something deep and wished she’d just admit it.
He might’ve even tried to talk to her about it once or twice, only for Lizzie to brush it off.
💀 After Their Deaths?
If Lizzie somehow met the missing children’s spirits after the events of Sister Location, the emotions would be HEAVY. Some of them might blame her, some might pity her, and some might forgive her. But no matter what, she would never be the same after seeing them like that.
Extra Wholesome Headcanon:
Before everything fell apart, they all probably had sleepovers or played around at Freddy’s as normal kids. Lizzie and Susie would bring sweets, Charlie would organize the games, Fritz and Jeremy would try to prank everyone, Gabriel would try (and fail) to keep things under control, and Cassidy... well, Cassidy would just sit in the corner, judging them all.

let me hear some about my boy evan!
oh boy!!!
so. his name at birth was "baby boy" actually. the aftons named him Evan because well "god is gracious" or whatever.
he was a really quiet baby. except for when he cried. when he cried, he fucking SHRIEKED.
his first word was "bear". his second word was "micah"
the fredbear plush always had a camera and a speaker. both Maribeth and William knew this. it was originally so Will could keep an eye on him when he was at work, and calm him down when he cried. sometimes he'd do silly voices into the speaker so he could hear him giggle
he was the only Afton child to NOT get any braces!
he liked putting things in his mouth. anything from his toys, to william's robes, to michael's homework. (he would use this to his advantage, going to school saying "my baby brother ate my homework :(")
michael made Foxy have a parrot cause he was like: omg baby brother!!! :0
he was VERY EASY to entertain as a baby. turn on a cartoon or play peek-a-boo with him. he'll be entertained for hours.
he could fall asleep ANYWHERE. at the diner, on the carpet, on Bill, on Henry, on Mike, in a dryer, in the sink, anywhere.
he used to like playing with Michael, even "wrestling" was ok cause mikey would always go easy on him. used to.
he is kinda scared of everything. michael totally feeds into it ("y'know, a kid i know almost choked on [food], had to go to the hospital, almost died!" "you see these? (sea lamprey) they're blood eating parasites. be careful or they might GET'CHA" "careful evan, or something might crawl out of that duct and EAT YOU!", etc)
when michael worked the nightshift at Freddy's, he dropped a foxy plush head on the desk with a note. scared the man SOOO bad.
he likes petting the rats in the saferoom.
he's like a little brother to Cassidy and Charlie.
he made up fnaf world. he can get REALLY existential sometimes. freaks the other kids out. he made Susie start crying once andhe felt so bad :(
he would torment mike in his dreams. so that michael would be so scared of sleeping, just like he was (he would cry when william told him to go to bed)
his relationships with the Nightmares kinda represents his feelings about michael and his friends... the last one to mellow out was Foxy. when him and michael talked. something along the lines of "i love you... you don't have to say it back." "...okay."
he kinda just stares a lot.
he used to think mikey and his friends were so cool! he would follow them around and they'd treat him all big!

I know that it might be spoilers, but is Dave's relationship with Beatrice neglectful or caring or neutral? Is he abusive towards her or is he a loving dad? 🤔
(If he were abusive to the precious bean [Bea] I like to imagine that Henry would somehow find out she exists, talk it out with Dave [or Will, whatever you prefer], then they would decide to live together because Henry feels responsible and also longs to have his Charlie back and maybe thinks that Bea can be a replacement for her [plus it's a child and it's Hen {who made a robotic version of his daughter in the books, might I mention} would totally] so he begins living with him, but then it turns abusive and as soon as Henry has a chance, he packs his his bags and runs off away Beatrice in his arms to keep her safe)
Im not gonna give spoilers about how Henry finds out about Beatrice- however I will kinda talk about Dave/William's relationship with Beatrice.
Dave wasnt necessarily abusive but he had really bad post partum depression and just overall couldn't fathom he had Beatrice- he was in denial for a very long time that he even had her and so it makes his relationship with her a little strained in that sense but not for more than a year, once shes in her toddler stage he becomes a lot more appreciative of her company considering Elizabeth died because of him and he didnt have really any true feelings for Elizabeth which is really sad to say. Dave loved Eli of course but he had no real morality until Beatrice happened and it kinda broke Dave's mentality....hes still a shitty person to everyone else though cuz he's still a narcissist....and probably would keep Beatrice to himself in a very Mother-Gothel way, sheilding Beatrice from the world until Jack had to convince Dave that no one would be out to get him or Beatrice

Hello!! :D I haven’t sent an ask before. But honestly, I just want to say how much I love your AU! It’s quite original if I’m being honest, and very well written. I can tell how much you put into making a good story. I also love how you portray certain characters, like William for example. As we see in the first arc, he’s kind, caring and try’s to help out his friend despite him being the one to cause his pain- he has a more positive vibe to him but in the most recent chapter, he’s cold and honestly just doesn’t seem really like himself anymore. I mean, I get it, he got away with murder. Yet he still cares about his kids. And I just love the writing when Henry and William interact (post Henry knowing about what Will did). It’s just so well written. All I’m here to say is I love your AU a lot <3 and I’m happy The Emily’s are getting some love! Because in my opinion, they’re super underrated. And remember to take breaks, writing a fic must be really hard- so just remember to rest, eat and drink water! ^^
OMG I just saw this just now!! Hello!! This is going to be a REALLY long post so to not clog up everyone's feed I'll add a "read more" so I don't feel like I'm talking so much X"D
Oh my god for real?? This means so much to hear (and quite motivating I'll be honest -- it gets difficult writing/creating on some days, you know)! I guess all my work I've spent on writing/making OC stories on the side really came into clutch for it (though, funnily -- writing HH AU had also actually helped me rewrite/revamp a LOT of those stories so it's kind of like a mutualistic symbiotic relationship, haha), but also, thank the beta readers I have + the FNAF brainrot besties (you know who you guys are) for helping me be confident and be able to brainstorm plot and story scenes while keeping everything nicely tied into a bow! Be thankful for them, they also help me polish scenes/give their feedback on how I could improve things!
I'm really glad a lot of people seemed to really like the way I wrote William! I'll be honest, I used to be extremely anxious (I sort of still am) about it because I thought people wouldn't like it or think I'm coddling him because he deviates a bit from how people usually portray William (which isn't bad at all, by the way! Canon-adjacent wise, it totally checks out that William would have abusive tendencies towards his children to some extent, considering how effed the 70s-80s were, and sometimes an evil William really does pack a punch and can be written MASTERFULLY for sure. Some people are really just assholes, after all.), but I really wanted to have a take where he's still capable of human emotions (unfortunately, like most abusers tend to be) while still being very much someone unpleasant and selfish. It probably helped that most of the people I took inspiration from is Bojack Horseman (shitty guy) and Felix Kranken (from TWF) haha.
I know it's heavily implied/outright stated that William killed Charlie out of jealousy in the novels (which is true), and while it also does applies my interpretation as well, he is actually pretty guilty of what he did to the Emilys to some extent, because he actually cares about both of them, they are his family friends, after all. But because he's a coward (and a selfish man at this point), he just never owns up to what he did, just choosing to let everything move past what had happened for self-preservation, in the guise of "who will be the one taking care of the kids if I get in trouble for this"?
I really like writing the contrast of William's a genuinely good father to his kids (though he's not perfect, he's still a shitty guy to some extent) and compared to his interactions with basically everyone else lmao. It just really highlights how selfish and self-centered he is -- kind of like parents who stick by their kids who had committed crimes or really horrible acts, I suppose?
It really means a lot that you think the interaction of William and Henry post-Charlie's death is really interesting! I love writing it too, there's so much passive aggressiveness and then so much unspoken resentment, it's insane, given how close they both used to be as friends! I really wanted to emphasize how distant their "friendship" (if you can even call it that) became!
It really really means a lot that you love the writing, I can't emphasize it enough (and for the other readers who might be reading this post) -- like genuinely, I don't know what to respond with, but it really means so much! You guys are the reason I really give it my all with this fic <3 It always amazes me and shocks me to find out people still stumble on my fic and decides; yeah I'm gonna read this!
Oh, the Emilys are extremely underrated, 100 percent. Somehow I ended up being very attached to them, but hey, I'll take it. I'll never shut up about them, but hoping that the FNAF 2 movie gives them a little more spotlight, hopefully? Because that'd be nice!
Thank you for the reminder, I do my best to take care of myself, even though I do have my bad days. You should take care of yourself too! I hope you have a wonderful day, and just know that this ask really made my night <3

Hello friend I don't think I've asked you yet but could you please give me your scooped Michael head cannons
(Has been waiting for a chance to infodump)
I like the versions of him where he’s not healed or anything- getting scooped absolutely messed this man up. The way remnant works in my AU isn’t some sort of weird monster maker so much as a tether or adhesive between a soul and an object, so Mike is quite literally a ghost pulling his body around like a puppet. He actually can leave his body and roam a short distance as a ghost the same way the animatronics can, but he hates the feeling of it and rarely does it voluntarily (sometimes he’ll wake up in the morning, get up and go about his morning routine and not realize he left his body behind until he ends up accidentally phasing through a wall)
I think Mike spent the first few years as a bit of a recluse before finally coming back into the public eye (definitely uses the ‘it’s a skin condition’ excuse and then every once in a while meets an actual doctor who’s super interested in it and doesn’t know what to do). He has a lot of shame surrounding his appearance, but he’s at least relieved he doesn’t look like William anymore. He eventually maintains a sort of tenuous relationship with Elizabeth and the other Funtimes that ends up falling apart again once Ennard split from Elizabeth. He’s super paranoid about bugs and scavengers eating him. He’s not that well preserved (like a homemade taxidermy on something that had already been lying in the sun for a month) so he gets outs of things eating away at him, and occasionally he’ll even end up with a mouse nesting in his rib cage or something. Mike can only heal a little bit, I think? Just cells that regenerate rapidly (skin, hair and blood mainly) and they tend to either heal extremely slow or regenerate more than necessary, so most minor wounds just end up as fucked up scar tissue. Bigger cuts have to be stitched closed by hand and never fully heal beyond the skin closing up and he can’t heal broken bones (sometimes Henry will use weld or solder them together if it’s broken too badly to be functional).
Like the animatronics, Mike suffers from something called remnant hunger, which is essentially when a ghost like Mike or one of the animatronics is starved of remnant and their soul starts to unbind from their body (I really need to make a post explaining how remnant works in my AU) and causes them to become aggressive and crave material concentrated in remnant (aka human flesh mostly). He usually keeps it together pretty well and scavenges graveyards and morgues for bodies instead of hunting people (maybe at a certain point one of the employees at the local funeral home is fired for leaving random human limbs out on the back porch for him), but there have been a few times where he’s snapped and attacked people. I kind of like to imagine at a certain point he starts locking himself away when it gets bad enough to make sure he can’t do anything (Jeremy or someone probably eventually finds something to sate the hunger for a while. Yeah just give my blorbo some psychological trauma and additional body horror, that’s a normal thing to do, right?

had. thoughts about Charlie and what happened the night he died.
so like. starting off with a bit of context here:
Charlie is still friends with The Silver Eyes Gang in the "game" timeline, just. y'know. Not For As Long. For Obvious Reasons.
Jessica has an older sister named Brittany who's an Asshole to just about everyone, but especially The Emily Twins, mostly because, as she words it, "I don't see why a couple of kids are so popular just because their dad owns a lame pizzeria for toddlers." she's uh. Also ableist towards Sammy. which pisses both Charlie AND David off.
Charlie is also, very importantly, protective and loyal towards others to a fault (something something "It's in your nature to protect the innocent," "...no one was there to lift you up into their arms, the way you lifted others into yours."), especially towards those she's close to.
William and Claire were getting divorced at the time (long story short: William was putting several people's reputations at risk, including his own, and he was an emotionally abusive and possessive father. Claire was taking all three kids, including Liz, despite Liz not being her biological child), and William Was. Certainly Taking It Well! (alcoholism.)
he was also deciding to blame HENRY for most of his problems, and was also jealous of the fact that, Despite Also Being Divorced, Henry Still Had Both Of His Kids (although that was. because his ex-wife, Annabeth, was a lesbian, and she didn't want to risk putting the kids in danger because. y'know. she was worried that, if anyone found out, they'd take it out on the kids).
so. here's the Timeline Of Events:
much to the chagrin of both parties, Jess and Brittany's mom told Brittany to watch her sister at Charlie and Sammy's 10th birthday party. Brittany wanted to hang out with some friends (who decided to just say "fuck it" and come with her), and Jess really hates having her sister around any time she's hanging out with the twins.
they get there and Brittany and her friends Immediately start causing problems (putting a box on top of Marionn's box. which is Not a thing you wanna do. because it could Fuck Up the mechanisms).
Charlie looks over and sees that, so she rushes over there to get them to stop. Sammy follows behind.
Surprise Surprise, Brittany's Being Ableist Again (specifically uh. she calls Sammy the r slur. so y'know).
Charlie's finally had enough, tells Sammy to go sit back down with Mike and David (while Brittany makes a comment about Sammy "needing a girl to stand up for him"), and then he goes OFF.
despite Jessica's desperate attempts to get her sister to stop being an asshole to Charlie, it doesn't work. Brittany and her friends lock Charlie out. Jessica, fully panicked at this point that Brittany might've gotten both of them in trouble, decides to run and get Henry.
this is how Mike and David found out what happened, leading to David wanting to get outside as quick as possible and bring Charlie back in. Sammy is currently having a meltdown.
now, here's why David was in such a rush: Charlie fucking hates the texture of wet clothes against her skin, and it's bad enough that it can quickly send him into a meltdown. you'll never guess what the weather was at the time.
so Charlie, who is now pissed off and on the verge of a meltdown, starts sobbing outside the restaurant. can't really blame 'im there.
Along Comes William, Drunk, Who Wants To Get Into Some Sort Of Confrontation With Henry (funnily enough, if William had only gotten into an argument with him, or even got into a fistfight, their relationship would still be pretty okay).
and then he sees Charlie, alone, and locked out. and after a minute of trying to comfort her....uh.
so he smashed a bottle over her head and then stabbed her with it.
he was initially planning on taking her body and dumping it somewhere else, but he heard someone coming (Marionn) and decided to ditch that idea and just drove off.
Charlie possesses Marionn after holding onto life for another minute.
It's At Around This Point That Henry Is Finally Able To Get To The Door, followed closely behind by Sammy.
Mike and David also make it outside by this point, too.
Absolute Heartbreak, Chaos, And Trauma Ensues.
Henry refuses to believe that Charlie is dead. She Can't Be Dead. Mike, Sammy, and David are just frozen in horror. David keeps puking every several minutes. Sammy's having a breakdown. Mike's just...frozen. he's staring at his best friend. someone who was basically a sister to him. They Were Supposed To Grow Up Together.
the police and an ambulance get called. Henry demands that Charlie gets sent to the hospital so that she can get treated, and despite everyone telling him that there's no pulse, that his body is getting colder by the minute, he snaps back that No, Charlie Is NOT Fucking Dead. she can't be.
after the police get through with questioning the kids, Claire calls William to pick the Afton kids up to take them home (entirely unaware of. Y'know).
so that's how William got to witness the Consequences Of His Actions.
Cassidy and Liz, both being so young, didn't understand what was happening. Mike was just. basically catatonic. he was on autopilot. nothing felt real. he thought that, if he tried really hard enough, then this would be a nightmare. he would wake up at Claire's new home, in his new bed, and it'd be time to get up and eat breakfast. they'd be going to Charlie's birthday party later. this wasn't real, this CAN'T be real-
Mike and his sibling spent that evening, and the next morning at William's house, in his old bedroom. he cried that morning. the fact he woke up in his old bedroom meant that everything was real. Charlie is dead.
Charlie woke up as a ghost later on the night she died. he was. Incredibly confused and scared, as you can imagine.
William decided on doing something along the lines of the MCI when Mike's birthday rolled around later that month. because after his divorce he had this...weird hatred yet admiration towards Henry. and not being satisfied with just. Wrecking Him Emotionally, He Decided To Also Wreck Him Financially (after all, who wants to take their kids to a place where their kids could, very likely, go missing?)
anyway, that is all! In Short, Charlie My Beloved <3 And Fuck William-
WILLIAM... MY MAN... IF YOU REALLY WANTED TO GET BACK AT HIM THAT BADLY JUST KIDNAP CHARLIE TO URS N SCARE THE SHIT OUTTA HIM MURDERS A BIT MUCH..
Please tell me Brittany feels awful bc she Should I am her no1 hater now

Presuming all the Afton Family had survived, what was their ambitions for when they were older? In terms of jobs, goals, things they want to do, etc... And same goes for the Emily Family as well, I'm quite curious to see what you have to say given the direction you have taken these characters in your AU.
God, I'm super pumped up to answer this one, sorry for the late response! (I assume you mean if they had all survived, that the Bite incident never occurred, so I'll be basing the answers off of that idea!) Also, the answers are insanely long 😭😭
Okay we're going back to the regular formula and starting off with William. No dead son = no reason to kill children, which means THE MCI AND KCI KIDS LIVEDDD!! Although his violent urges would still manifest in him abusing the kids and his wife. And also because of no dead son, he kept working with Henry. (Although he'd get more and more sick of him as years go by) I honestly think he wouldn't mind continuing the way his life used to be for a very long while, as long as he kept control of everything, and of course, control of Evan. In the universe where the Bite never happened, his dreams did come true.
Onto Clara, I definitely do not see her staying for long with William any longer, he's broken her down for years and essentially ruined her life. I can see 4 possible futures she could've had, either A. She'd flee Utah and reluctantly go back with her horrible family, seeing as they are the only ones who she thinks William wouldn't consider her going with (As if he'd bother going after her) B. She'd leave and move to a city, probably to finish her schooling and maybe she'll get to become a ballet teacher! (Too bad she never accomplished her original dreams...) C. She'd leave and maybe take the remaining kids with her (I'm not sure if she'd even want to take care of William's spawns, but I'm also not sure she'd just ditch them at an orphanage) or D. Leave the family and have a new one, promptly abandoning her children. I think between her and William, she was more likely to want better romance for herself (in my original rewrite for FNAF, I considered having her in an affair with another man in the midst of Pre-FNAF 4, but I thought it seemed really melodramatic, not sure if I'd bring it back though)
So with Mike, the Bite incident is what gave way to his redemption arc and what made him become a better human being, but because it didn't happen, he never grew past being a total piece of shit. His biggest goal would be however, to get away from his family as soon as possible, so I think he'd run away at 18 (maybe he asked Jeremy to run away with him too /hj) and I think he'd want to make it to California or New York or Chicago (cause yk they're the cool places of the time, do you think he'd want go to Wyoming or something?? HELL NO) I always headcanoned Mike as wanting to be a Rockstar when he grew up, or at least some kind of musician. I don't know if he would've accomplished that. It's up to ones imagination. I can see him becoming kinda sleazy. Maybe he'd get into the party scene and become totally unleashed. Would he have want a normal settled lifestyle? Not sure. Another goal is to try and save his mom from William (he didn't consider saving his siblings, because he thought they'd be fine with him)
For Elizabeth, she'd want to try harder and harder to win her dad's affection, and it probably will never work. I'm honestly skeptical if she would ever be interested in romantic relationships, I think if she would, she'd just do it to fill the hole in her heart. For jobs, she'd probably try and inherit her dad's job. Her efforts wouldn't work. For other job ideas, she probably wouldn't really have many careers she'd want, she'd probably settle for a mundane and 'simple' job like nursing or teaching, or even working as a cashier. She preferred being home than actually working. Maybe she would've become a caretaker for her parents when they got older. I don't think she would've ever been disillusioned from the idea of her father being the best, no one would've stayed to help free her.
Finally, Evan, boy oh boy, did he dream. His biggest goal was to just- make real friends. At least one. But that can never happen to him, his father said so himself! (Yeah, because Evan still lived, William further exploiting and abused him 😔) but hey, I can imagine Evan eventually escaping his family! Maybe he can become an artist, or an inventor, or a toy maker, or maybe he can become a depressed recluse. (I think if Evan had lived, bite or not, he could've basically become the Boo Radley of FNAF). I don't think he would ever develop any romances with anyone (how could he??) I see Evan's future as being very uncertain. Maybe he will get a happy ending, but he doesn't think he's worthy of one :(
Okay moving on from that depress sesh, it's Henry's time! I think he'd be open to the idea of getting a new wife, although Charlie would absolutely hate that idea, (okay Lydia Deetz). Someone to give his Charlotte a sense of femininity she so lacks. Best case scenario, it's some random woman he knows, worst case it's Jeremy's horrible mom 😭😭 Anyways, besides getting a new wife, he'd still try and swerve Charlie into a more girly lifestyle like how his wife wanted. Moving onto business, he'd probably still keep Fredbear's up and running, he probably would've become ambitious enough to sell it off and try to become the next 'Disney' (it won't really work, but selling it off did give him tons of cash!) Maybe he'd still try to cut off the Aftons? Besides that, I dunno how else life would go for him, I'll think abt it more eventually.
And finally for Charlie, she wants to become independent and free and all that stuff. So her first course of action is to do whatever she wants with no limits and judgements from her dad! (That would be a very hard task to do...she could probably end up cutting contact with him) and I can see her getting a career in something that helps people, doesn't matter what it is as long as she can assist people and make them feel better. I don't think she'd become romantically involved w/ anyone either. I'm not sure if she'd stay friends with the Aftons either.
Suffice to say, everyone has a kind of negative or uncertain fate. Probably because I haven't thought of anything good that could happen to them without completely changing everything. Hope this was a sufficient response!

dunno if that ask i was writing got sent or not, but here we go again:
since you like my Fnaf Rewrite, here are some Fun Facts about the Aftons and Emilys!
to start, the Afton Family:
so, i've heard the debate. "was William a good dad or did he fucking suck?" well...i've come up with a middle ground that i haven't seen people explore: William Does Genuinely Care For His Kids...But In An Unhealthy And Abusive Way.
like, i explain it one of two ways: imagine Mother Gothel from Tangled, but tone her down several notches, and if she had "good" intentions with protecting Rapunzel (of course, we've all heard the saying: The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions). the other way i'd explain it is by saying William Is A Toxic And Abusive Helicopter Parent.
he doesn't hit his kids. he doesn't yell at them. it's more emotional abuse and manipulation. like, most examples of emotional abuse with parents that i've found when looking it up have things like yelling and ignoring the kid, but uh. I Think Convincing (or trying to convince) Your Kid That Disobeying Your Orders Will Have Severe Negative Consequences, Such As An Injury Or Dying, As Well As Being Condescending About Your Children's Negative Emotions About All Of This ("you'll understand/thank me when you're older", for example), Still Counts!
William has five children! Alexander (who is "foxybro," so to speak), Michael, Evan (middle child, not the Crying Child), Elizabeth, and Cassidy (Crying Child).
Mrs. Afton (Claire) died over a day after giving birth to Cassidy :(
William is terrified of losing his children, which is why he's Like That (not an excuse, obviously).
why isn't Michael foxybro? listen, i want happy Mike and CC interactions...which is difficult to do with canon.
Michael and Cassidy have the unfortunate combination of anxiety and autism, which. Isn't Great To Have In This Household.
the Fredbear Plush was a gift from Charlie :] technically from Henry, but Charlie’s the one who gave it to Cass :]
Not A Single Person In This Family Is Neurotypical
Alex is actually the Fnaf 1-2 phone guy!
while Cassidy is a pretty quiet and anxious kid, That Doesn't Mean He Doesn't Have Some Bottled Up Anger. That Kid Is RESENTFUL.
Michael, Charlie, and Sammy were born a few months apart.
Alex doesn't really hate Cassidy, but, in his mind, Cassidy’s birth was what caused their mother's death, so in a sense, he thinks that everything that's happened is Cassidy’s fault to an extent. the problem is that his siblings heavily disagree with this and it doesn't help their dislike of him (because he's a jerk).
Mike is trans!!
Elizabeth is the only child who isn't (outwardly) traumatized. that isn't to say that the abuse hasn't screwed her up...it just means that no one's noticed that she's screwed up too, yet.
William has some bunny features!! his hair has some strands on top that look like bunny ears and bunny teeth (which Are a thing people can have. i'm just not able to draw them too accurately, so they look like Actual rabbit teeth). the only two kids that inherited those traits were Mike and Liz.
William would get very pissed if you so much as Imply he's hurting his kids with what he's doing. in his eyes, he's only doing what he's doing out of love, so could it really be that bad? (it is. it Very Much is)
and now, The Emily Family!
Henry’s a good dad in the Rewrite. both to contrast William and Because I Want To.
Henry’s ex-wife, Annabeth, and him got divorced because she discovered that she was a lesbian, and Henry didn't want her to stay in a relationship where she wasn't Happy. this isn't to say that don't care for each other, they just don't really love each other Romantically.
Charlie and Sammy are biracial!! Henry is white and Anna is black :]
y'know Charlie’s toy rabbit in the books, Theodore? fun fact! in the Rewrite, he was a toy shared by her and Sammy! (although Sammy was the one who played with him the most) he was actually the improved version of one of Henry’s own childhood toys: he actually calls it "Theodore 2.0"
both of the kids take after Henry's personality in some way: Charlie has Henry’s general temperament (calm and mature usually, but if they're Really pissed/stressed, You Will Know), whereas Sammy is socially awkward and quiet, typically preferring to keep to himself and work on his projects. both of them share Henry’s interest in robotics, though.
Charlie and Sammy dealt with...a Slight bullying problem, but were both generally well-liked. (< foreshadowing)
while Charlie is more associated with greens (especially bright green), stars, and stripes, Sammy is more associated with oranges and browns, fire/burning/the sun, and plaid.
Charlie is older than Sammy by seven minutes.
and two extra things!
1) the Emily and Afton kids viewed each other as siblings, pretty much.
2) there are only two murders William has any sort of real regret for (even if it isn't much): Charlie's and Cassidy’s :)
Oh! This is so cool! I think the way you're doing William is great, too, especially since there is this weird middle ground in some stuff of "William does seem to have genuine care for his kids, but also, who would send their kid to a place like Sister Location knowing it might kill them?"
Love the stuff with the relationship between the Afton and Emily families a lot, too!

the hatford family history, as made up by me
disclaimer: this is an entirely made up family history that is based solely off of really quick google searches on life expectancies and such, if its not compatible with canon in places that is my bad also i made this all up so i could write about my oc so just ignore the redacted part of the family tree for the time being, a lot of this is based more on creating a comprehensive family relationship as opposed to making it historically accurate so my apologies
Tumblr media
okay so starting from the top we have henry hatford born 1853 died 1893, he is a husbandman in suffolk just outside of ipswich, a lot of land in suffolk was enclosed (common land, which is kind of like parks basically green spaces that are free for anyone to use, was taken by often the rich and wealthy and mostly turned into agricultural land) so henry hatford is a farmer of enclosed land that is owned by like a lord, the agricultural scene in the mid 1800s was in decline i think but the hatfords farm remained fairly successful or at least affloat, imagine they were farming whatever the most popular crop at the time was
henry marries betje hatford nee de boer born 1855 died 1897 and this is where we get to the crime stuff, betje is from amsterdam we're not gonna question too deeply how and why she emmigrated to the uk or how she met henry maybe they had a meet cute when she arrived in london or henry was visiting mainland europe and they met there but either way they met and got married yippee, betje is from amsterdam and thus has family there, as rotterdam began to supplant amsterdam as the most popular port her family became desperate, in 1875 the port of felixstowe was opened and as betje was uniquely positioned near the port and her family were desperate they began a smuggling business, the port was newly formed and as such it was easier to bend the rules, the hatfords are now committing crime! with their new income they are able to buy out the hatfords farming land from whoever owns it and it becomes the hatford family estate, they build a house, likely something that looks similar to bletchley park just not on such a big scale, a victorian house which is larger than a standard suburban victorian home and not terraced but still has the bay windows and all those bells and whistles
so betje and henry hatford are committing crime, whats next? kids of course! their first child is ivo hatford born 1879 died 1922, ivo is their only surviving child, they also have katja hatford 1881-1882 and godfried hatford 1884-1884, as ivo is her only survivng child betje throws her all into him and nurtures him to take over the family business
ivo marries jessamine hatford nee kemp born 1882 died 1828, jessamine and ivo only have one child ingrid hatford born 1905 died 1959, ingrid is raised as the heir to the hatford crime family because betje instilled gender equality for committing crime into ivo, ingrid marries michael hatford nee fisher born 1903 died 1943, michael is obviously not a hatford by birth but was welcomed into the family graciously and decided to take the hatford family name imagine ingrid and michael as a childhood friends to lovers situation, michael dies during the second world war when working on the raf base in woodbridge which is the third point in our triangle of ipswich and felixstowe, the base opened in 1943 and fixed faulty aircraft and we'll say he died in an accident on the base sure
ingrid and michael had four children, three of which survived, edwin hatford born 1924 died 1985, antonis hatford 1926-1930, paula williams nee hatford 1928-1974 and sofia hatford 1929-1980
so paula marries mark williams 1924-1969 and have one child rachel williams 1945-present or at least still alive as the books are taking place
sofia is more interesting sorry not sorry paula, sofia marries paul cranmer 1920-1952 and they have two children lucile hatford nee cranmer 1946-book present and gabriel hatford nee cranmer 1950-book present, when sofia discovers paul has been abusing her children she kills him and begins a rerlationship with her life partner carla samuels 1927-1981, the kids revert to using sofias maiden name and all is happy yippee
back to the main hatford timeline, edwin is ingrid and michaels only surviving son so he gets raised to lead the hatford crime family because the hatford feminist spirit gets lost at some point post ww1
edwin marries theresa hatford nee hardings born 1934 died 1999, theresa and edwin have two children stuart hatford born 1957 and mary hatford born 1962 died 2005 and now we are in canon land so things start to get a little iffy
this is what is canon to me but ive just made this shit up so
theresa is a very demanding mother and puts a lot of pressure and judgement on mary, stuart is raised to be the next hatford heir but when edwin unexpectedly dies in 1985 the hatfords are left a little loose footed, theresa pushes mary to marry nathan and the marriage goes ahead in 1986, the books sort of imply that this was a power alliance kind of marriage or at least not a marriage born of love so the marriage helps to ensure the hatfords stay in power, it probably provided them with some moriyama connections
we can probably expect that if they weren't from the beginning the hatfords are probably now enmeshed in the drugs trade as well as other smuggling endeavors, this new alliance is likely to provide them with connections within america to smuggle things there
so neil is born 1988 and they go on the run in 1998 when he is 10, the books state that neil and mary spent a week in england with stuart and mary didnt want to stay with the hatfords because they were still a dangerous crime family, but what we see of stuart is less violent crime lord and more devoted family man who is also the leader of a crime family
what i propose is mary did not want to return to her family because she didn't want to stay with theresa, who died a year after they went on the run
considering nathan would probably have staged people at all airports on his side of america as soon as he discovered what mary had done, the hatfords smuggling abilities would have come in handy to find a way to extract neil and mary from america under the radar, their smuggling connections within europe would help form the basis for marys european connections and arguably the people who helped forge documents for them
now stuart, as i was coming up with this storyline to flesh out stuart in order to interact with my oc i have i think biased myself to a more positive overall view of stuart personality wise
but anyway now to talk shit about him, i think stuart would be a new labour voter i cant explain why he just gives blairite vibes to me, i think he owns proprty all across the uk and could feasibly be a landlord but also i dont want to make stuart a landlord, of his london properties he probably uses the ones in soho and near canary wharf/greenwich the most
anyway this took me like two hours to write out and all of yesterday to plan, if you intend to use any of this family history could you please credit me, if its not historically accurate then my apologies my english history knowledge unfortantuely has a glaring gap when it comes to the 1800s
