chat how do we feel about co09 flipside. it's not looking good

CHAT IT'S LOOKING BAD, EVEN..........

My main thoughts are - the game itself was mediocre. I don't think the characterisation was a massive departure from the last games. The creator just wanted to cash in on popularity by releasing a game way shorter than any of the others at full re-up price. Generally I don't super mind indie game devs trying to ride a wave, however the creator is a piece of shit and does Not deserve it.

The funny thing is that when I played it with my friend, we managed to not get THE TWO REALLY REALLY BAD ENDINGS. Like bad as in Why The Fuck Is This An Ending endings. So I'm just living in blissful ignorance from those. I know what happens but technically it never happened 🙏

plus the bright side is that my Jecka characterisation has proved CORRECT and I was RIGHT and everyone should go read my fic instead of playing flipside /silly

and like - the ppl who call the game fetish material are somehow missing the fact it's blatantly Mocking fetishes. Which makes sense for the tone of the game. And it's like. Basically framed the same way as pedophilia is in the game ?? all the ugly weird unlikeable ppl we supposed to hate have them. one of them literally gets fucked murdered and his mom is HAPPY ABOUT IT.

it's very clearly ANTI fetish but as soon as feet are mentioned people's reading comprehension goes out the window and they start screaming bc their poor little eyes!! (Despite the fact no feet are ever shown lmao)

(I also don't agree with being anti-fetish in general cause like. Leave people the fuck alone. But like I don't play class of 09 because I morally/politicaly align with the characters I play it because they're all fucked up terrible people and that's Funny. It's not surprising at all that the creator turned out shitty though, I think the re-up basically ended up a good game DESPITE him and the original/flipside are much more aligned to the kind of game HE thinks is good (especially like. The fucking white supremacist endings in the original holy shit))

I really don't get how almost the ONLY thing most ppl criticise about the game is the foot fetish route 😭
