i've been obsessed with this manhwa recently, I Tamed My Ex-Husband's Mad Dog, and will talk about it to anyone who'll listen but i'll just ramble a little on Dulcinea here.

i love her character. i love characters who are seemingly meek, quiet and starts off as someone who doesn't seem like she'd play too big a role. i didn't expect who she was in her past life and i kind of did wish she was genuinely nicer to Rein, but at the same time, i loved seeing her cruel, and knowing that she was being played with by Wilhelm felt satisfying. her sense of superiority over Rein was teeth grindingly annoying, and i loved it.

i don't wish that her arc ended in any other way, i don't think it ending any other way would have been as justified and interesting. i like that we see the cogs turn in her head when she realises just what she needs to do to make Will fully hers.

and it doesn't happen because he never was, and never planned to be.

i do wish we had seen more of her life in the castle, and maybe any interactions with Rein when she was crown princess. i do wish we saw more of Dulcinea and Will interact / flirt more in the presence of Rein, and how Rein would react knowing Dulcinea was harbouring such intense feelings for her knight. i do wish we had seen more interact to show more contrast between the two women when Rein was crown princess vs now, when Dulcinea is crown princess.

but i do still love Dulcinea as a character. i'm happy she died, but i did love her role in the story.
