bcs and brba are shows obsessed with the idea of karma and comeuppance and the men most obsessed with Manhood in those shows always get the most criticism from the narrative BUT there is also such an extreme ratio of 'white men' to 'any other characters of relevance' that it rings a little hollow and the very last thing that happens in the entire canon is a man who had stringently resisted machismo finally going off to 'the last frontier' to, presumably, be a man alone
