the answer is he got his shit brutalized by The Beast (the specific version of Erlkonig fought in 6-34) so hard that even being rewound by the contract couldnt get rid of a really really nasty scar that he should really have a few of tbh and now he wears a sleeve because he would rather have implications of his mental health be a thing than anyone finding out

also he was brutalized to the point literally just because hes friends with heathcliff fhkjdhkf

Ok, so we have identities from alternate universes where Sinners ended up in the role of villains, like One Who Grips-Faust, Captain Ishmael, neo-luddist Yi-Sang and Wildhunt Heathcliff.

So there must be at least one timeline where the Sinners are composed by the likes of Kromer, Ahab, Dongbaek and even Heathcliff.

So I looked at the post project moon made showcasing the unholy wall of text that is wildhunt Heathcliff’s kit. Horse makes him stronger, sinking makes him stronger, coffin makes him stronger until he will eventually put you inside of the coffin and promptly beat you to death. Lately on limbus I've been changing out my status to be a completely random word & phrase, and have gotten such gems as "Come hither fellows, and behold this Hong Lu!", "Fine. I accept your mustache." and "But of course. I am a competent Vroom-Vroom"

big canto 7 spoilers

my don quixote fight was so scuffed lmaooo but so fun!!! i ran my sinking team the entire time, and on my first attempt don quixote obliterated solemn lament yi sang, so i decided i'd restart. second time i got to his second phase and suddenly got completely annihilated; so i tried again.... i dont think i changed my team make up much, and Don was on W Corp. Anyway, I got to the second phase again, and the guy slowly weeds through my entire line up one by one. by the end, I'm reduced to lvl 50 W corp Don, Dieci Hong Lu, Lvl 42 N Corp Sinclair and lv 13 Butler Faust. Somehow, Faust fucking PULLS through and dishes out two turns of fluid sac, just in time to save hong lu from his big stack of bleed. Sinclair and Faust get picked off pretty quick, so at the end its just Don and Hong Lu, both with wildly fluctuating amounts of HP. I realize the fight is lost at this point, but I'd see how far I was going to get.

Don and Hong Lu held on for SO damn long. I kept spamming Soda to give them the mildest form of healing, and it carried so so hard. Don had all her buffs so her clashes worked just fine, Hong Lu somehow had no troubles either. Soda always came in clutch.

I pick off the horses slowly but steadily, managing to clash every single attack successfuly. I get to the cutscene and think "man this is gonna blow once i lose and have to get to this point again" and then......... the fight just gets scripted and all is won............ don and hong lu emerged victorious amidst it all

also WIldhunt Heathcliff proved to be Flopcliff by dying off first thing every other fight. I had to take him out of the main lineup
