Wednesday: An old tradition, (when I was growing up and I hated it) either it is moong, moong dal, Khichdi and Kadhi. Recently K indulged me with her special Dahi Aloo which I had with khichdi and fell in love all again. I prefer the Khichdi grains soft and piping hot, But the Aloo rassa made up for it today. Accompanied by specially imported papads. What's your favourite combo? #CookingByN #wifecookingrocks #gujjufoodrocks #adworkfromhome https://www.instagram.com/p/BwW0i0IgDKg/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1e24o2dcd3eg5

Once upon a time, Thali used to be 7 days a week - dal, rice, pulka, two veg, papad, Raita, salad, aachar, with sweet and Farsan on Sundays. Time passed we moved away, it became twice or thrice a week. My frequent travels led to rare occasions. Daughter grew up, Dad passed away and now it is like once in 15-21 days and a very simple version. #nostalgia #wifecookingrocks
