#wicked city (1987)

I began watching this movie called Wicked City and I didn’t finish it due to losing interest but I really like this demon girl. She’s very pretty and makes me blush. I have reason to believe she was inspo for FMA’s Lust for a number of different reasons but the one I think clearly gets my point across is her nail attack.

(And before anyone says anything Wicked City came out in 1987 with FMA Chapter 2: The Price of Life- AKA Lust’s Debut- coming out in 2001.)

A little off topic but I love the colors used in Wicked City these might be such an inspo for future art projects.

kawajiri #2 - wicked city

man when this isn't sexual assault city it's the coolest shit in the world. someone should make an ova that has all the vibes and ultraviolence and freaky monsters but without the worst of misogyny. i'm not even asking for no sex! but the assault stuff in this sucks, especially because mayart is one of the worst old man anime perverts out there. like, i wouldn't like it if it still had all the gross shit and just didn't have him, but it would be a lot easier to stomach

it's almost worse because the stuff outside that is incredible. the fight scene where taki rescues her the second time would be so good if it wasn't for the context it takes place in. he punches a demon in the head so hard that you can see the eyeballs flying in different directions! his gun sends him flying backwards when he shoots a hole in that lady! and it's all really well directed and animated! i loved like 70% of it and the rest was dogshit, and you can use your own judgement as to whether you'd be willing to overlook the bullshit

i know most of kawajiri's stuff is not going to be less horny, but i hope it's mostly more in the same vein as all the demon ladies attacking the heroes with their tits out. that doesn't bug me, i love trashy horny bullshit like "this demon lady has a massive chest vagina that she's going to try and eat a guy with after hypnotizing him with her boobs!" or "this spider demon lady is shooting web out of her pussy to try and trap the heroes with it!". it's wild that this is an adaptation of a book by the vampire hunter d guy when kawajiri's vhd movie has basically nothing in the same vein, and the vhd movie he didn't direct has so much assault and like panty shots and shit

i do think i gotta watch the tsui hark movie
