~ Naulakha Mandir is situated at a distance of around 2 km from Baba Baidyanath Temple. Possessing similar architecture of Ramakrishna Temple in Belur, the shrine encompasses beautiful idols of Radha and Krishna ranging about 146 ft in height. The name of the temple is derived from the amount spent in its construction, which was donated by Rani Charushila, a queen of Pathuria Ghat royal family, Kolkata. Making the total cost of around nine lakh rupees, the temple received its name as Naulakha. The temple was constructed on the advice of Balananda Brahmachari, a saint whose idol is also enshrined in the temple. It is believed that the queen left her home after the sudden death of her husband, Akshay Ghosh and son, Jatindra Ghosh. Depressed with the sorrowful fate, the queen met the saint who asked her to construct this temple. #natgeotravel #travelgoals #travelblogger #travelholic #travelphotography #travel #travelanddesire #miphotography #travelphotography #travelanddesire #snapseedapp #googlesnapseededits #googlesnapseed #phonography #shotonmi #shot_on_mi #xiaomiphotography #capturingmomments #instagrampic #instapic #pictureoftheday #templesofindia #indianculturee #indian #incredibleindia #pixlr #indtagram #instapic #indianheritage #whyvisitindia #photographersabobe (at Naulakha Temple) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzNX9dmBJow/?igshid=wff0db8xruir
