“WHO'S IN CHARGE AGAIN?"   a poem  Wednesday:   4 December 2019

  Trust your body   and your hunches.

And you will get   many lunches.

 WhyDoIsayThis?   THIS IS WHY: (pause)

"Do you wanna trust   YOUR LIFE?   to  another guy?

Or    another gal,   name o'  :  DIETICIAN  or DOC?"

 Who's BEST SUITED   "to wind YOUR clock?"

 Or keep you in    the best condition?

 a:  YOUR BODY.     and   It's   ITS  mission,

To give you signals   and EVEN ASK YOU TO BAKE,

A yummy piece o' chocolate cake,

OrItMightAsk for a bologna sandwich   or say: "Don't go there."

 ItMightBeOnlyAhunch,

ButIT's YOURS;

So, (you might) beware.

 You got the means to keep you fit,  *   To keep you going,    every little bit,

Of   every little, bitty time   you LISTEN TO YOU,

It can help you more   to get on through,

This maze of life.   YOU KNOW THE WAY;

Doctors and such   only   guess     ALL DAY.

 (Moral)   You're unique   and perfect   with YOUR SPECIAL WAYS;

Don't delegate   to no "alien grays,"

For they will PLAY WITH YOU,  and occasionally MIGHT be right,

But   TO WIN IN LIFE (I suggest you)  NEVER FIGHT,

YOUR HUNCHES   or   WHAT YOUR BODY WANTS.

 IT knows  'good planting time'   and IT know   THE BEST HUNTS."
