I've decided that Bernard is an honorary member of the Batfamily because what exactly makes someone a member of the batfamily anyway? He's been dating Tim for quite a while now, so is that not enough to be part of the Batfamily?

Do they all need to be vigilantes to be part of the family? Because Alfred doesn't go out fighting people and he's still part of the Batfam.

Also, I think Bernard being the one just regular civilian in the family is cool and funny because he's actually insane like the rest of the Batfam he just seems like a regular dude at first.
