#525 - Angel (Kairiki Bear) [Meika Mikoto]

One of the newest VOCALOID to reach this list and Kairiki Bear’s most popular song in Nico Nico, which is good news for Mikoto, I guess. One of the darker intro and imagery as the angel seems a vengeous one… eh, I like his ‘lighter’ songs better.

#526 - Scissorhands (Nem) [Hatsune Miku]

Song based on Edward Scissorhands but not a retelling or anything of that sort. Honestly, the scissorhand feels like a metaphor of someone who wants to get close but is not able to get there. Which I guess is what the movie is about…

We continue the ‘Egoist’ series or more like ‘everything sucks’ the song. Rin literally throws the other songs in the Egoist series in the bridge, including this very song. Perhaps the beginning of the breakdown that ends with… I’m not going there.

Speaking of throwing things away, another song like that, although it’s more of throwing away worries and anxiety rather than previous works. Unlike the title, the drug usage only really implied and doesn’t need to be interpreted as such.

It looks like a MARETU MV and it's a harder Noboru-P song but it’s more of a typical rock song than that odd mix. I like the rhythm… wait, it’s not in there? Huh. Would have been nice if a rhythm game picked up the song. I can see the notes. 

#530 - Kokoronashi (Chouchou-P) [GUMI]

One of utaite favorites, and the ‘sad’ song from papiyon. Not only do I like the imagery and emotion in the lyrics and I’m again the human-ness of GUMI in this song. GUMI does not falter from the many great covers of this song. Still a classic.

#531 - You're a Worthless Child (Kikuo) [Hatsune Miku]

We continue Kikuo’s examination of parenting problems, about a friend trying to help a disabled child or a regret of an abusive mother. One of the ‘cleanest’ Kikuo songs, you can almost mistake it for a Scop song, and the lyrics won’t help there.

#532, C-2 - CITRUS (Orangestar) [IA, ONE]

Song written to demonstrate IA’s move to CeVIO… although IA is still in Vocaloid form. Orange of course gives a nice contrast to the typical blue that Orangestar is known for. Song is about getting together and trying something new, which is the point… 

#533 - Love Me, Love Me, Love Me (Kikuo) [Hatsune Miku]

Song about golden child syndrome and not yandere as most people think so. Now absolutely the song that anyone knows from Kikuo, and while I think it’s well-produced, it gives the wrong impression of the rest of Kikuo’s overture. Fun fact though, it is the latest Kikou song on this list… kind of funny how that works out.

#534 - Raise (n-buna) [Hatsune Miku]

Is this… isekai? Is this just the plot of an isekai? Why did n-buna write a song that is basically a plot of an isekai? I didn’t think of him as someone who likes that kind of thing… well, it’s a nice song, your typical n-buna fare.
