Supernatural trends following the passing of the CW sniper. Whilst no official confirmation was published regarding their death, Misha Collins made a statement regarding destiel and since he's still alive, we can conclude that the CW sniper is no more.

The Cross Roads 8 Supernatural convention is currently taking place [x]. As usual, things have been said. There was one statement however which caused the tag to trend and it was (unsurprisingly) by Misha Collins, in response to a question asked by our bravest soldier @sunglassesmish [x].

"If the CW wasn't so homophobic, Dean and Cas would've been balls deep for sure." [x] [x] [x]

Whilst this may not be the exact quote (I haven't been able to find a video yet), this was enough to cause a destiel revival. More things have happened, and people on Twitter are posting under #CR8 in case anyone's interested. Multiple Supernatural tags are trending there as well [x].

snippet #8 - Bad Blood

Hero’s apartment was small, but it was pretty nice for its size. Their agency salary wouldn’t cover much else, so while the criminals of the city got to build huge lairs and mansions, Hero had this place. They tried not to complain. Besides, there were better things to criticize the agency for. Namely, the armband that circled a wide band of skin a few inches below their shoulder. It restricted their powers so they were only able to use them when the agency said they could. So, only when Hero was in a fight or getting testing done in the lab. Everywhere else, they were as powerless as a regular civilian. Which wasn’t helpful when Villain broke in.

Hero had been recovering at home from an earlier fight with Supervillain. It hadn’t gone well. Their armband malfunctioned halfway through, making their powers glitch and falter. Supervillain, of course, took advantage of this, deciding it was the perfect time to try to recruit Hero. Again. When they refused, Supervillain threw them off of a building. The agency healer had exhausted themself mending Hero’s broken bones, and didn’t have enough energy to heal their other wounds. So the gash on their forearm and the long cut on their cheek were hastily cleaned and given bandages by civilian doctors. That night, they were sitting in a comfy chair, catching up on their favorite show and trying not to think about their pain. The episode had just reached its climax when an enormous crash sounded from the doorway. 

Hero leapt to their feet with a wince, attempting to summon their power before remembering that wasn’t possible. Instead, they looked around their living room for a weapon. A few scattered paperbacks, case files stacked neatly on the coffee table… aha! They grabbed the curtain bar they’d been meaning to install for the last couple of weeks from its place by the window and cautiously made their way over to the door. Except… there wasn’t a door. Hero blinked, lowering the bar. Wood splinters covered the floor. The blue paint on them was the only indication that they had once been part of Hero’s apartment door.

“What…?”

“Hero!” A voice cried from behind them. 

Hero stifled a scream, whirling around to see Villain standing there, dust and wood chips sprinkling their hair. Their fangs were out, which was strange. Usually they kept them in if they weren’t fighting. 

“Villain?” Hero demanded. “What the hell are you doing here?”

“I,” they said, holding up a finger and stumbling forward. “wanted to see… you.” They poked the finger into Hero’s chest and giggled. “Cuz you know you’re my favorite hero.”

Hero dropped the curtain rod, staring at their nemesis in disbelief. “Are you drunk?”

“Nnooo,” They said defensively, crossing their arms clumsily. “Didn’t drink an’thing.”

Their enemy raised an eyebrow. “Nothing?”

“Not alcohol.” They grinned, swaying on their feet. “You’re pretty.”

Hero flushed, then quickly shook their head. “Have you…fed…recently?”

Villain picked up one of Hero’s hands. “Not so good. Want more.”

They snatched their hand away. “Absolutely not.”

“But you smell so yummy,” their nemesis complained. They reached out, running a finger down Hero’s throat. “Just a little bite…”

“No,” they said firmly, taking a deliberate step back. “But you did feed.”

Villain’s expression was a goofy sort of grumpy. “Was just a snack-“

“I don’t care about that. Was the person you bit drunk?”

They shrugged. Hero sighed. Well, if they hadn’t actively drank any alcohol, they must have fed from someone who had. Hero had heard of this��like being second-hand drunk. Who knew how long it would take for the effects to wear off. Villain had to be more careful. 

“Well, they had to have been. Mystery solved. Now go home.”

“Noooooo,” they whined. “I wanna stay with you.”

“You just broke down my door, I can’t exactly trust you to be here,” Hero pointed out. They were incredibly lucky that the few other tenants in the building lived far enough above them to not hear the crash, or Hero would have had to do some very quick thinking. It was unconventional enough that them and Villain, who were supposed to be sworn nemeses, were on speaking terms. That was something the Agency barely tolerated as it was. No way random civilians would understand Hero’s strange friendship with a destructive, drunk, unpredictable vampire. Thankfully, their landlord was out of town for the next week, which gave Hero enough time to buy a new door and force a sober Villain to pay for it. 

Their enemy pouted, picking a wood chip off of their shirt. “I said I’s sorry.”

“You didn’t, actually, but… thanks, I guess.” Hero rubbed their aching temple. Their unexpected visitor had only worsened their preexisting headache. “Still, you have to get out. I need to rest.”

Villain seemed to notice their bandages for the first time. “You’re hurt!” They exclaimed, their expression one of almost comical shock, stepping forward so their fingers grazed the bandage on Hero’s face.

“Congrats, that might’ve been your first coherent thought-OW!” They yelled, palm shooting up to cradle their suddenly unbandaged cheek. “What the hell?”

The vampire dropped the bloodied gauze on the floor, batting impatiently at Hero’s hand with an odd determination in their eyes. “‘M helping.”

“How?!” They demanded, spreading their arms, their shock distracting them from the pain. “Vil, that stung like hell!”

“Staaay… put.” Villain gracelessly grabbed the uninjured side of their face, staring intently at them. They didn’t give Hero the chance to ask what they were doing before pressing a huge, wet kiss to the wound. The crime-fighter froze in utter confusion. Villain backed away, a hesitant smile--dotted with a slight bit of blood--growing on their face. “All better!”

Hero raised a quizzical eyebrow. Not like it was the strangest thing their nemesis had done, they supposed. “You’re, like, a really weird kind of drunk,” they said, pulling a handkerchief out of their pocket to wipe their face with. Except, instead of the white cloth coming away the reddish-brown color they expected, it was… clean? 

Villain’s smile widened into a ridiculous grin. “Toldjyouso.”

Suddenly, a picture from Hero’s Academy textbook came to mind. Their class had done a short unit on vampires, though there was little information available due to their rarity and discretion. Hero had learned much more about vampires from being around Villain than in school. But now they remembered one of the points in a short list of vampiric abilities, one they’d never seen Villain do in practice. Vampires could supposedly heal wounds, though the textbook writer hadn’t been sure how. 

“Vampires can heal with their saliva?” It was more of a statement than a question. 

Villain shook their head, causing Hero even more confusion until they spoke again. “Saliva’sssgross. I give kisses!”

“Of course you do,” Hero said with an eye roll. Villain reached out to grab their forearm, a move Hero easily dodged. “I’ll do this one.” They pulled at the edge of the medical tape keeping the gauze in place, wincing as it tugged at their tender skin. Villain watched with wide, slightly glazed eyes as Hero ripped the pieces off, exposing the blood-encrusted cut. 

“Bite me, and I’ll stake you with a piece of the door,” Hero threatened. 

Without any more hesitation, the vampire took hold of Hero’s wrist and gave the wound a few sloppy kisses. The crimefighter watched with grim fascination as their skin knitted itself back together within seconds, only leaving behind a few flecks of dried blood. Villain’s face lit up like an ecstatic puppy at the awe in Hero’s eyes.

“You’re welcome,” they stated with a hint of the self-satisfaction Hero had come to expect from their nemesis’ overly inflated ego. 

“Are you sobering up?” They asked. “I have no idea how a vampire’s metabolism works. Probably faster than a human’s, right? You’ve told me it’s hard to keep up with your hunger because your strength and speed use up so much energy.” 

They only blinked sleepily at this, which made Hero feel silly for ever taking them remotely seriously. They crossed their arms, suddenly feeling tired themself.  “Whatever. Alright, time to go home.” 

“Noooo,” Villain whined, “‘m too sleepy.”

“Well, it’s not like you can stay here. I can’t have a drunk vampire crashing in my newly doorless apartment.”

Before Hero could stop them, they stumbled forward further into the living room, collapsing onto the couch with a loud thump. “S’okay, ‘m not hungymjussst…” they trailed off as their face shifted into one of the cushions and obscured their mouth. 

Yes, Villain was beyond annoying and letting them do this was an extremely fireable offense. But they couldn’t help the affection that crept its way into their smile. Or the instinct that made them cover the dreaming vampire with a nearby blanket. “You’re welcome, Vil,” Hero muttered. “Oh, I’m never going to let you live this down.”

If a creator is updated to the hobbies and business patch you won't see any of their new cc in game. This is beyond any artists control and is a byproduct of something EA did when changing tattoo organization

EA has done this before when werewolfs and horse ranch came out.

Tempted to write a replaced au twst fic where Yuu (or alternatively, I'll use my Yuu, Riyuu, who is basically who I'm writing this for) used to be the cutest girl around, the cheery one who's always around everyone, the one you can't seem to dislike even if your crush falls for her because she earnestly says sorry (even though it's not her fault) and will always help you out if you need her back in her old school. But one day, a new girl comes around and her whole reputation got destroyed. She helps the new girl adjust, tells her all the rumours and introduces her to all the popular kids. But the girl ends up backstabbing her, telling the popular girls rumours about how she intentionally plays up the act to steal their crushes to her, and lies to the boys, telling them she's just playing with their hearts and that she's a horrible person.

Yuu ends up alone and excluded, being seen as "annoying" and only having a few close friends who doesn't really interact with her in public in fear of their reputation being ruined. She ends up miserable at school, and wishes to not go anymore. But one day comes a saving grace, she gets whisked by a mysterious black carriage into Twisted Wonderland, or more specifically, Night Raven College. She doesn't mind working if it meant she doesn't have to deal with her old school, there was still 1 and a half years left of school and she doesn't want to deal with all ghe group projects to be assigned that will inevitably end with everyone not wanting to team up with her. Plus, as annoying Grim is, he's like the animal friend all of the anime and storybook protagonists she knows has, and she doesn't mind him too much.

Some things did change after she and Grim got officially enrolled, but she had no problem adapting to the social expectations of the world, part time jobs with Sam -- and occasionally the canteen -- paid enough to get her tools for cooking basic but delicious food, and new friends without the weight of her past helped her get settled comfortably.

The existence of Overblots stunned her for a bit, but a peek into Riddle and Leona's memories helped her understand the concept, even if just a little. However, things began to change eerily simlarly to her old school when a new girl comes, also in a similar position to her, getting transported to a new, unfamilliar world, and seemingly hailing from a similar world to the Earth she knows. She warmly welcomes her, eager to finally befriend another girl, but it seems that the girl does not share the same enthusiasm.

The girl only barely responds to Yuu's attempts at forming a friendship, and always seems to talk her in a condescending way, and often dismisses her, and especially so whenever there are any boys around.

Yuu will not deny any statements claiming she's an attention seeker or that she plays up her sweet innocent girl act, but she knows to never, ever sacrifice a bystander for it. But if someone insists on war with her... well that's another, different story. She's learnt her lesson of being overly optimistic, and she will not make the same mistake twice. She will not let her make her life a living hell more than it already is with Crowley's irresponsibleness.

Aaand thus begins the story. Or well, however you wanna continue it. I'm honestly in favour of most Housewardens (Kalim, Vil, and Idia in particular. I'll put my reasoning in a few paragraphs down) Adeuce, Tweels, and Ortho for team Yuu. Why?

Well, first of all, Adeuce. This is mostly because the duo is like. with Yuu since Day 1, as much of a bitch as Ace is, I think those two are the most likely to trust and know Yuu well enough to not believe the lies R (< Replacer) tells. Especially Deuce, he doesn't want to betray a friend he knew for quite a while, that would not be very honor student-like of him!! And she helped him out in a lot of situations too! He doesn't want to hurt you after all the trouble you go through to help him, and also knowing how horrible your living conditions are. Ace would most likely give in to peer pressure if the student body is overwhelmingly in favour of R, but as of now, he maybe enjoys your company just a bit more than R. Just a bit, promise.

Tweels I feel like is self-explanatory. Those two are perceptive as fuck istg it scares me. Jade especially. I feel like the two would just toy with R for a bit despite her facade and lies before dropping her after she bothers them for attention and favours one too many times.

(Ortho ties in with Idia so I'll explain him in Idia's paragraph)

Kalim is actually very emotionally intelligent. He can come off annoying and stupid, but from all the scenes I see of him, he's actually really good at dealing with people. Have you seen how he deals with the Scarabia residents after Jamil's OB??? The way he phrases his sentences?? He didn't force or even plead with them to forgive Jamil, he simply asks them to wait before making permanent judgements, and I think he's gonna be uncomfy with how condescendingly R talks to Yuu, and even if he's used to people going after him for money, I feel like R mostly eyeing him for money and how she "secretly" sighs in annoyance everytime she goes out of the party for a "bathroom break" will only solidify his dislike/discomfort, even if he doesn't show it.

Vil is also kind of self-explanatory if you read into his character and not just the shell the official English localization makes for him. (I could rant for hours about how the official tl portrays his character istg. He's hardworking and he actually didn't attempt to poison Neige out of pure jealousy, he did it because he felt like all his efforts to be beautiful will never be able to surpass Neige, who, in his eyes, always seemed to be innocent and naturally beautiful. He feels like the villain in Neige's story. He feels like he is reduced to what he often plays as, a snobbish, overconfident villain obsessed with overthrowing the hero. And because of it, it became a twisted self-fulfilling prophecy, pushing him to, in a fit of despair, be that same villain everyone sees him as.) I really don't think he will take well to R's condescension to Yuu, who genuinely wants to befriend R. (I actually have a whole thing in my head where Yuu and Vil occasionally have sleepovers where they do skincare together after the whole VDC thing happened. I feel like this is also a "vent sesh" of sorts for the both of them, just to air out their grievances without much seriousness, and I think Yuu would admit to wanting a fellow girl in the school that she could befriend, since no matter what, being the only girl can be exhausting.) Ik Vil's not a girl but he is such a girls' girl istg.

Idia... this mostly ties into Ortho and The STYX Incident, but like,, I think we can all agree on this one,, Idia is smart and capital V Very pessimistic. Would you rather trust the girl you've known for a while, who saw your memories, who helped you in awkward social situations when she can and is besties with your brother or some random new girl who trash talks said girl behind her back? The former, right? Plus, even if Yuu did only hang out with him and his brother because she likes to secretly laugh at him behind his back, there's mo guarantee R wouldn't do the same, given his experience. And he would rather have someone who actively helps him and his brother out than someone who wouldn't.

I didn't put Malleus in because of how canon him actually treats Yuu. I feel like the fandom kind of put on rose-tinted glasses on with his character, and kind of ignored some things like, idk... him just leaving them to fend for themselves homeless during Octavinelle... maybe he thought Crowley would offer them a place to stay but like... I'm still bothered by how didn't atleast offer a spare room in Diasomnia. He's a housewarden goddamnit. He's not as distant or scary as the rumours say but like. still rubbed me the wrong way.

Anyways I don't think my attention span will let me write it to completion so if anyone likes this and wants to write it feel free. Pls tag me if you do tho. I would love to read it :3

Something I finished months ago in May -- this art of Bastet was meant to be something 'quick' (lol--) to practice the style I used for my Artfight 2024 Attacks. But I also drew it because the kitty goddess had been overdue for more up-to-date artwork to use for her profiles.

I’m currently more active on my Bluesky account, and updating the project site gradually. In fact, I’ve just finished archiving the first 100 askbox responses there, with more on the way for those feeling nostalgic. Hi everyone!! Ok so I figured I'd do an update since it's been forever since I've posted. First things first: All is well, I am alive, my other half and I are doing great. I've had a bunch of things happen over the past several months. I had a death in the family back in September: my beloved 102 year old grandmother, the last living grandparent I had. It was rough, not gonna lie. Me and my brother and 3 cousins served as pallbearers.

In February I made a huge change in my life, I quit my job of 18 years to do a mid-life career change. I am working on my personal fitness trainer certification and I'm so excited. I love working out and during covid when I got really out of shape I had felt so lost and unsure how to even start getting back into shape. I benefited from some amazing trainers who helped me on my own fitness journey and I want to help others in the same way I was helped. I want to encourage others, help them love their bodies, and reach their personal fitness goals.

I have been working hard on my courses. I am almost done with the first course, hoping to take my exam this week (eep!) and then start on the next course. I am registered for 4 courses total right now. I have also been busy applying at gyms and fitness facilities and I've had a couple interviews so far! I intend eventually to take clients independently but I want to start my career working in a gym/fitness center to get established in the industry, network with other fitness professionals, and learn from established trainers.

So that said, I did put my reader tag list (which I hope is as up to date as possible, let me know if any changes are needed please and thanks) under the cut for my major WIP, "Why Can't You See What You're Doin' To Me?" because I wanted to let you know I have every intention of finishing it, I just do not know when that will be. I am not going to abandon that story. It's my pride and joy and the story I am the most proud of, it means so much to me and I know it means so much to many of my readers and that makes me so happy to know it touched so many others. Thank you all soooo much for your patience and sticking with me all this time. Y'all are the best!

And I appreciate that those who have me on their tag lists have continued to tag me in their stuff. Thank you! I have been reading things here and there, I just haven't had a lot of time to do much interacting or re-posting for which I apologize. i actually thought i was alone thinking that sylus had way less cards compared to the other guys in lads, but seeing that you think so too makes me feel better but also sad? why is it like this 🥺😔

NOOOOOO this is a widely discussed topic in the LaDS fandom !!

Loads of fans have done the math and noticed the discrepancies between Sylus and the other LI's. He was only just recently given a 4 star banner with MC depicted in the art, whereas the other guys have upwards of maybe 4 or 5 each ?? Zayne, Xavier, and Rafayel are the OG LI's so I understand why they would have more stuff like that.

BUT when Caleb debuted, he was released with a full range of stellactrum banners. I distinctly remember being annoyed that Sylus' first ever yellow stellactrum card was hidden behind a paywall– you couldn't just pull for it. By now I think the two of them have the same number of banners and anecdotes (don't quote me on that), but the time it took for Caleb to get that amount of content vs. Sylus is crazy.

Sylus came out July of 2024. Caleb came out January of this year. The devs put the pedal to the metal to get Caleb's content sorted, meanwhile Sylus has been out for 9 months and I'm still eating CRUMBS. CRUMBS I SAY !!!

All of that to say: I also wish he had more banners. Everyone that mains him wishes he had more banners. I've seen event speculations/projections on Twitter and Red Note, and it looks like he won't be getting a new myth or anything like that until maybe the end of the year ?? Gnashing my fucking teeth together over that, but it is what it is :'))
