haven't thought about boruto in a while, but ugh, i'm suddenly thinking about nara shikadai (and the rest of his peers) and how they're crazy underutilized in the manga and how i wish we saw more of the ensemble cast dynamic instead of yet another overpowered uzumaki/uchiha show.

the boruto series should have been a slice of life (or as slice of life as you can be in a show about ninjas) instead of whatever alien and tech bullshit the story has going on :// those first few arcs in the anime?? took me by surprise and i genuinely wish we saw more of it
