ok. so. while ago the longlegs director was asked by some guy “why didnt the fbi director haul ass when he realized he had a little girl who’s birthday is on the 14th?” and the director was like “bc its a movie” and Omg i hate how i understand that answer but it still annoys me

#i feel like bc he is aware of private birthday murder case he should be a little WORRIED. that seems like a plot hole and not just #‘u can write this off it doesnt matter’ when its the whole reason why the dramatic confrontation at the very end happens #well was he just stupid??? he didnt worry abt his daughter being targeted when she meets the specific criteria???????#why cant i like thjs stuoid movie i want to so bad AAAAAHHHHHHHHH
