As I dive deeper into the Chibnall era while I wouldn't say I love it I'm slowly getting more and more bothered about how the 60th anniversary specials dealt with it, particularly 'The Giggle'. Like, the fact The Doctor name dropped a random one off villain from a mostly lost 60s serial while Yaz doesn't get a single mention is actual insanity.

#If Adric can get brought up despite being disliked by the fandom because it's still part of The Doctor's conflict #then I don't see why Yaz can't get a mention #the timeless child and the flux are probably more hated plotlines than The Doctor's relationship with Yaz so why not include it?#Specially when that relationship embodies The Doctor's cold and closed off nature the episode itself criticizes already!#I get there's a bit of a tonal shift compared to the other companions but I don't see reason as to #why Yaz couldn't be included in the companion recap.
