23. Would they prefer reading books or listening to an audiobook? Besides, would they rather read for someone or have someone read for them? Sunday unironically owns and listens to Nathan Explosion Reads Shakespeare. She was disappointed to hear there was a whole session Pickles forgot to record. She usually has her headphones on and an audiobook playing when she files the week's incident reports at American Voice Showdown. That said, her guilty pleasure 'adult romance' novels? Print only.

If she had to share a book with someone, she'd prefer to be the one reading. In the AU where she has Charlene, her child with Skwisgaar, she goes all out for bedtime stories, character voices and all. It sets a quality standard for the CEO, who expects the same out of any babysitters, be they once-in-a-century financial geniuses or *cough* the pride of Denmark.

39. If they could go back in time, how would they reassure their child-self about the future? Sunday's childhood cycled between 'incredible opportunities' and 'devastating horror', so this answer's simple. She'd tell her child-self that she's not crazy, she really is cursed, but that doesn't make her a bad person. She'd reassure herself that it gets better, that she gets away from her family and does wonderful things that they can't take from her.

Yes, it is okay that she likes girls and boys. She'll meet incredible people in every walk of life if she lets herself. And if the church is wrong about her being bad, then they can be wrong about anything.

3. What is something they really like about themselves and what is something you really like about them? Envy prides herself on being levelheaded. She has no problems de-escalating angry patrons and doesn't find it hard to take control of a room. She likes that she can keep her cool even when things take a turn for the worst.

Something I've liked writing for Envy is her warm and nurturing nature. She may be blunt, and she might feel at home in anarchy, but she's a caretaker at heart. Her garden flourishes under her love (and occasional Dead Kennedys singalongs). She treats her employees with a decency and kindness that's unheard of in the hospitality industry. Even the drunks that pass out in (or near) her bar get water and a safe ride home. She's safety for young queers and a haven for kinksters.

26. What would be their ideal romance? Did they find a perfect match already, is it still a work in progress, or have they experienced something out of their expectations? It's not that Envy's unlucky in love; to the contrary, she's had some long, loving relationships. It's that it's hard to pin her down. She's oblivious to flirting unless a lady's laying it on thick. When she gets into a relationship, she finds it hard to make compromises on how much she works, leaving her girlfriends lonely. She works her ass off to run her businesses and keep Club Hedonism's events running.

Her ideal partner would be someone who's just as busy as she is, or someone who wouldn't mind spending time working together. She calls her romantic life a 'work in progress' and frequently claims she'll settle down once whatever project she's doing is finished, but... it hasn't happened yet.

What’s something that makes your ocs laugh every single time? you can be specific!

Selene: dark humor elicits a snicker out of her, which usually happens at the worst times so she has to actively muffle it and the visual restrain is more obvious than she thinks.

Aiden: the reactions of sudden bomb drops of jokes at inappropriate times give him the best kind of serotonin that he is absolutely unapologetic about despite the glares he receives for being the only one cackling.

Andrew: all the silly little animal behavior quirk videos and inspirational pins delight him to no end and he never tires of them- they genuinely reignite his hope that the world is wholesome and there are good-natured people in it when he's had a bad day.

A sweet little treat for the boys <3

Larik likes waking up early.

Likes watching the first few shy rays of light falling through the curtains and onto Vlassk's sleepy face. They way they tickle and make him grimace and crawl further into the pillows.

He likes watching his tentacles curl and twist idly into the sheets; gripping and unconsciously searching for contact. Likes listening to his slow, steady breaths and sweet little snores.

Likes to see his frills fluttering and his face relaxing when he reaches for him and entangles their tentacles. Likes to hear that little sigh when Vlassk returns the touch and pulls the limb to his chest. Cradles it like something precious.

Loves the way Vlassk's mind so easily and naturally opens to his own; the way it lingers and brushes against his own as if refusing to part with Larik even while asleep.

Smiling, Larik carefully shifts and shuffles closer; lifting an arm to wrap and hug around Vlassk and pull him against his chest.

Vlassk makes a small, grumpy noise and wrinkles his face, but only for a moment. As soon as his sleepy brain realizes he's not being woken up, he happily settles back into the sheets and cuddles against Larik. Vlassk lets out another content sight that makes Larik's heart melt and his mind sparks with joy.

Adorable, he thinks and leans down to nuzzle the top of his head; feeling his frills fluttering once more and making him snicker quietly.

There's a displeased tremble in Vlassk's mind, followed by another grumbling sound and then he moves. Barely a moment later, his mismatched gaze meets Larik's and offers a sweet, sleepy smile.

“G' mornin'”, he mumbles with a little stretch before curling right back into his chest. His own rumbles with a quiet purr and Larik happily joins in.

“Good morning my sweet siren”, he says and kisses his cheek; prompting another one of those adorable little giggles out of him he can never get enough of. “Slept well?”

Vlassk nods. “Of course”, he says and leans up to press a little kiss to his cheek. “With you on my side, always.”

Larik hears and feels the warmth and truth behind those words and is left speechless; tentacles curling and tingling and face turning into a soft, fond smile. “As do I”, he says and cradles Vlassk's face between his hands, and realizes that he never ever wants to miss this again – never wants to miss Vlassk in his life.

“I love you”, he can't help but say and pull him close; tentacles twining and mind mingling. He hears a tiny, surprised yelp and then another sweet giggle. Feels Vlassk's tentacles curl around his own and his arms wrapping around his shoulders to return the embrace.

“Love you too”, he answers just as naturally and easily and presses a kiss to his collarbone, and Larik feels like the happiest man alive.

Hello everyone! So I've set up a little list of prompts for writing/drawing for all these Pirates I've been seeing wandering across my field as of late. But I'm going to make it a little more interesting.

Since Jack is one of your oldest and most beloved OC, how has he changed since he was first created? Personality-wise, design-wise, etc

This previous ask is a good show of how much Jack has changed design-wise:

As for personality - he was definitely less "wholesome".

His personality wasn't totally dislikable and he wasn't meant to be a jerk but past Jack was a pinch more "mean" than his present day self, at least in the very beginning of me working on Beanstalked. He eventually mellowed out some once I started to learn how I wanted to write him.

In the end, he was also very much "bland protagonist without the flavoring" and lacked some real agency in the story.

Past Jack and Present Jack would def not get along. They wouldn't be throwing punches at each other but Present Jack would have some mighty thin patience with himself.

30. What is their love language? She'd have you believe it's physical touch, but she receives love best through quality time and words of affirmation. If someone makes it their priority to date her and get to know her properly, she can't resist them. *gestures at Nathan's messy success in doing that* She gives love through physical (sexual, let's be fr) touch and acts of service. You're safe assuming she cares about you when she goes out of her way to do something to make your life easier.

31. What would make them blush? Going back to my last answer— A genuine compliment, especially if it's about something she doesn't pride herself on. She's been told she's hot and/or musically talented a thousand times by a thousand different people. She likes the attention, but it don't hit the same unless someone who's massively hot and/or talented says it.

Tell her she's good at literally anything else and she'll fluster. Tell her she's smart and she'll blush so hard she might pass out. She's been compared against Charles and found wanting in intellect enough times that complimenting it will never get old.

MEET MY OC CLOVE PART 2

(We will be continuing on where we had previously left off on Clove Lore lmao)

Redemption Arc (The depression arc more like it)

After WOTFI 2023, Clove was just going to lock herself up in her lab and throw herself into her studies but then she realized that SMG3 had the keys to her lab last (dumbass) so since she had nowhere else to go (she literally lived in that lab so she was basically homeless) so what does she do? she decided to go live under the bridge of the SMG4 castle.

She was surprisingly never caught down there but one day Mario did accidentally catch her down there with her pitched tent and fire. The crew wondered why she didn't tell them beforehand if she needed a place to crash, but Clove still felt guilty after years of rivalry with them, after she was seen as a friend, no longer a foe, she decided to live in the castle for a while.

Remember the last post when I told ya'll that Clove felt like she had no purpose after she sent SMG3 to the graveyard? Well, this is where we go into more detail about that.

Living at the castle and feeling like she had real friends who just liked her for who she was, not whatever she made, was pretty wholesome but it also brought Clove to the realization that she didn't really know who she was, without 3 or without her craft. Luckily, she had good friends to try and help her move on past her traumas and her new journey of self-discovery (yippee, healing arc!)

Genesis Arc (oooooh)

Needless to say, Clove had mixed emotions when she found out that Smg3 was still alive but when the corrupted Morchu appeared, this sparked a new interest in her and wanting to do the study of Memes and their entire history!

I want to say Clove was mostly neutral for this arc but this did give her a new hyperfiction (lamo)

Oh yeah, at the end of the arc, Clove gets her keys to her lab back from 3. That was kinda the whole mini-story arc with her, asking Smg3 for her keys back but she couldn't at first because she felt guilty about what she did to him and their friendship technically (they become neutrals after this)

Revelations (Shit is about to go down)

It's no surprise that Clove had enrolled to Omnia Academy along with Melony and Meggy but the reason she enrolled is because of her new dream to re-open her lab and turn it into a school for people just like her (awww happy Clove!) so she joined a science club.

Her shit with God box is also important because she had also read up on that when she was studying the YouTube remote ("The World's Cursed and Definitely Powerful Objects that would destroy the World if laid on the wrong hands" remember that book?) so she was definitely a G in this arc too.

But with Clove prioritizing her friends and saving the literal world, she gets kicked out of the science club (it's hella strict) Clove is heartbroken but then decided that she can just open a school by herself claiming that she technically has all the knowledge she needs now.

(Also bonus small arc, Clove and Smg3 gain a new understanding of who they are now and what they used to be, this revelation has made them somewhat mutual now)

The End? (is it the end of Clove Lore?)

I don't think Clove's story will really end but here are some small bonuses and fun facts!

Fun fact 1: Clove does eventually open her new lab/ school right on the showgrounds! (had to bribe Smg4)

Fun fact 2: Clove and Smg3 do become friends again and they're in a partnership with Clove in charge of making Smg3's bombs for him (They still love creating trouble together)

Fun fact 3: After IGBP, Clove grabbed a sample of the Eldrich goo and studied it (Results came back unknown...)

Fun fact 4: Clove still catches up with her Grandfather

Fun fact 5: Clove found out she had a brother when she reconciled with her family...she's not very happy about that fact....but she loves him to death (His name is Eden "Olive" Gadd) (Btw, he's like 5)

Fun Fact 6: Most of all the science junk she has in her lab comes from the dark web or Bob

Fun fact 7: She actually designed and made the Spy Rizz watches in WOTFI 2023

Fun Fact 8: This is what her WS and WOTFI 2023 designs look like!

Fun fact 9: When Clove first met Mr. Puzzles, the very first thing she wanted to do was experiment on him ("HOW THE FUCK WAS HE ABLE TO "Cut off his face and put a T.V in his place"!? I NEED TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF MINCHERNIARY HE USED!"

Fun Fact 10: Clove x Smg3 real (or as I call it caffeinated chemistry...)

I wanna say Clove developed this crush on Smg3 way before the YouTube arc (so it made it extra dramatic for her to send him to the graveyard oooohh) It was mostly one-sided love and Clove had mostly kept it to herself (some days she was flirty and other days she was a wreak)

In the present time, Clove is fine with being Smg3's friend now but she never really forgot how 3 used to make her feel.

What kind of friendship dynamics do you enjoy between your ocs?

There are so many answers to this question because when it comes to OCs and rp it's like.. you can do so many different things. So I guess my answer boils down to "as long as it's fun and interesting I'll enjoy it".

But to get more specific:

Taylor and Tiffany's sibling-like relationship. @shikariix and I never fully explored what their friendship was like before the Marchetti's adopted Taylor, but Taylor easily slipping into the annoyed little sister role while Tiff plays the patronizing older one is one of the funniest things TO ME. Taylor "I'd sell you to satan for a corn chip" Marchetti holding hands with Taylor "I'll kill anyone who tries to lay a finger on you" Marchetti (and she was gonna try in canon).

But then you have the "not friends not enemies but a secret third thing" that @peanutdream's Cooper and Cecille got going on where they always inevitably run into each other and they throw insults and punches but at the same time they help each other out of a tree or they invite the other to their birthday party. I pictured Clementine and Cole in very much the same way,,

And then you have the very soft best friends; "you can't talk about them so do you want to sing about your feelings instead?"; "I walk into my room and you're sobbing uncontrollably on my bed and I have no idea why but I'm fighting for my life to find my open pack of tissues in my bag for you and now I'm curling up to you until you've calmed down"; "no warning no context but if you need me to pretend that I'm your boyfriend so some dick will finally leave you alone, I will". @wooksbazooks' Terry and Beca (Team Berry) are everything to me

BUT THEN the ultimate tier of that ladder is Sandy and Oliver. Doomed queerplatonic relationship; "I am very much gay but you're my exception"; "would you raise a child together if I asked?"; they die a thousand deaths over and over but it will always be them, the other, the actual love of their life. Not to toot my own horn but I am still not over them and I never will

But wait! There is more! Are they friends? Enemies? Lovers? Worse? All of the above!! @shikariix ' Lillian and my Linnéa are the very definition of "I'd find you in every lifetime (to strangle you/to hold and help you/etc.) They've been through so much that they can't picture their lives without the other.... they, too, are toxic yuri

I'm also very much enjoying Chrysanthi's journey. The fun in roleplaying is that you get surprised by dynamics all the time; and for my dear 38yo chef this includes a wholesome friendship with an 18yo. I picture Chrys learning the latest slang & memes from this character, sometimes using it right and sometimes deliberately misusing it. They're the funniest duo on the rp currently to me

The name’s Phoenix (He/him). I am a gay trans-man and also have some craaazy AuDHD chat.
