Last two shifts I worked, I had the same patients but was precepting (training) different nurses. So two nights in a row, I have a patient with a post-op complication (guts not moving) that the surgeons are taking a conservative approach to (wait and see if the gut starts moving). This treatment plan makes sense for the specifics of this patient, but that means we’re doing a lot of symptom management without directly treating the thing that’s causing the symptoms. In this case, symptoms are pain and nausea so bad that the patient said if they’d known this is how they’d feel after, they’d have skipped the surgery and just rolled the dice with what that colon polyp would do if left alone.
So we’re throwing meds at this patient, we’re walking them so their bowels can get moving, we’re giving ice chips and gum and cold wash clothes, we’re giving IV fluids (which is SUPER rare in the hospital right now because due to one of the recent hurricanes, we are critically low on IV fluids), we’re doing basically all my tricks short of putting another tube in this guy. And it’s working okay. Like we’re keeping pain and nausea just below “intolerable” but not by much.
That first night I have that patient, while I’m talking to the surgeon on the phone, my preceptee is in the room talking to the patient. I don’t get any new orders because most usual meds that would help are contraindicated in this particular circumstance. I’m feeling frustrated about that—I HATE when I can’t get symptoms significantly under control—when my preceptee comes up excitedly and says that the patient says they’re feeling much better after the therapeutic intervention my preceptor did. The intervention was hanging out in the room for 15 mins and talking with the patient about their hometown in Canada.
(Which, hell yeah. Very proud of that new nurse because she said one of the biggest things she wanted to work on was being less nervous talking to patients.)
Next night, I got the same patient, still miserable, and a new preceptee. We’ve got more meds this time, but still only marginal success with managing symptoms. I tell my preceptee, “next time you’re in the room, plan on staying and chatting with the patient for like ten minutes.” Next time we’re in the room, we do just that—we talk sports, hobbies, plans, past surgeries, how much this surgery sucks, just the three of us shooting the shit for a while before we have to go give pain meds to another patient. (It was a surgical floor. That night was mostly handing out ice packs and oxy.)
Anyway, the patient tells us that this chat has been the best they’ve felt all night. My preceptee comes out of the room, and my preceptee is like “wow that really was our best intervention.” And I get to be like “yes witness the power of chit chat as nursing intervention.”
Reflecting back, I’m grateful that the patient was so expressive about what we did that was working. I told the patient at one point, in the midst of their most acute misery, that we were going to give them everything we had available, and if that didn’t work, I had backup plans in mind. Like you might spend the night miserable, but it’s not because we didn’t keep trying stuff. And after I say that, the patient goes, “that was good, I like that you said that, that comforted me.” Which was very nice and convenient because before we’d gone into the room, I’d talked to my preceptee about how to make patients feel supported and cared for, even when none of the care we do is working. When we left after that, my preceptee was like “wow, you’re right, that really worked,” and I was like, “I KNOW, that’s cool right? I mean you always hope it works, but sometimes you just can’t tell if it actually does.”
I love really open patients, they are such fantastic teaching opportunities. For example, I had another patient both night who was also very open, specifically about what a bad job the hospital was doing and how everyone should just stay the hell out of their room. Considerably less pleasant feedback, equally valuable, about essentially the exact same situation that the first patient was in. Talking through that patient with my preceptees was also very useful and very easy, because the patient had been so explicit in their feedback.
It’s always odd training nurses because you don’t want bad things to happen to your patients, but you also need to new nurses to see bad things. And sometimes you get a patient assignment that is so good for teaching, it’s like it came from a textbook. Very convenient for me personally as a preceptor. Feels weird to say that about patients who are having absolutely miserable times, that their misery is useful to me, but (as preceptors normally say about stuff like this) if it’s happening, at least it’s happening where we can learn about it. Anyway, great couple of shifts to practice therapeutic communication.

Could you write something where reader and Lando have been in a relationship and reader has a heart condition and she never told Lando so he didn’t stress about her and to focus on racing, and Lando and her brake up because he stupidly told her he wants to focus on racing this year and after she left he realised his mistake as all the little things reader did for him before a race are all gone and everything just feels wrong and when he tries to contact her he can’t find her until a few weeks later he gets a call from the hospital that reader has fallen unconscious and when he gets there he then learns about her heart condition and that stress is not good for her heart. But happy ending.
heart flutters (ln4)
✦ pairing - lando norris x female!reader
✦ genre - angst, tears, comfort, heart condition
The morning sun slipped through the curtains, casting a soft glow over Lando’s bedroom. Y/N was lying beside him, her hand resting on his chest, her breathing soft and steady. Lando felt a smile tug at the corner of his mouth as he looked down at her, brushing a strand of hair away from her face.
He couldn’t quite remember when his mornings had become this perfect, but he knew Y/N had something to do with it.
She shifted, blinking awake, and her sleepy smile met his gaze. “Good morning, love,” she murmured, voice still thick with sleep.
"Morning," he replied, kissing her forehead. "Did you sleep okay?"
“Always do when I’m with you,” she replied, snuggling closer. “Although I could do without you hogging the blanket,” she teased, giving him a playful poke.
Lando laughed, pulling her closer. “Alright, alright, I’ll work on it.”
These mornings together, the lazy Sundays and cozy, laughter-filled moments, were Y/N’s specialty. She seemed to know exactly what he needed, especially on race days. She’d wake up early with him, helping him calm his nerves and making sure he had everything he needed. And every time, he’d find some new way she was taking care of him, even if it was something small—like hiding a little note in his helmet, wishing him luck.
“Hey,” Y/N said, watching his thoughtful expression. “You okay?”
Lando nodded. “Just thinking about how lucky I am,” he admitted, his voice soft.
Y/N blushed, rolling her eyes a little. “You’re getting sappy on me, Norris.”
“Just telling it like it is,” he replied, smiling as he watched her try to hide her smile.
They went about their morning, with Y/N humming along to the soft music playing in the kitchen as she made breakfast. She slid a plate across to Lando, along with a steaming cup of his favorite coffee. He took a sip, sighing in contentment. She’d even managed to get his coffee just right.
"Alright, mister," she said with a smirk, sitting down beside him. "What's the game plan today?"
"Game plan?” he teased, raising an eyebrow. “Thought you were the expert at making my plans.”
“Maybe,” she replied, tapping her chin thoughtfully. “But I like to think I’m just the support. You’re the superstar here.”
Lando rolled his eyes, chuckling. “You’re more than support, Y/N. You’re… you’re my everything, you know that?”
Y/N smiled, but there was a flicker of hesitation in her eyes, something he didn’t notice, too wrapped up in the moment. She covered it up with a quick laugh, brushing it off. “And you’re mine. Just… try not to get too cocky on track, alright?”
He laughed, squeezing her hand. “Can’t make any promises.”
Their relationship was filled with moments like these—easy, natural, just them being themselves. Y/N grounded him, kept him steady, especially when the world of racing felt overwhelming. She never burdened him with anything else, always making sure his focus was on the track. And she always brushed off his attempts to give back, saying his happiness was all she needed.
But it was Lando who felt like he needed her more than he’d ever admit.
As they finished breakfast, she reached out, taking his hand. "You'll do amazing, Lando," she said quietly. "You always do."
"I only do so well because of you, you know that?" he replied, squeezing her hand.
Y/N laughed, rolling her eyes again, but there was warmth there, too. “Alright, alright, enough with the sweet talk. Go focus on your race and be the best you can be out there. That’s all I ask.”
Lando leaned in, kissing her softly. “I love you.”
“Love you too, Norris,” she replied, grinning as she kissed him back.
As he left for the track, he felt a familiar sense of calm wash over him. Y/N had this way of making everything feel right, grounding him no matter what lay ahead. He knew, deep down, that he’d never be able to thank her enough for everything she did for him.
And for Y/N, watching him walk out the door with that smile, she knew that was exactly how she wanted it to be.
--
It was late, and the rain was tapping against the window of Lando’s apartment as he paced back and forth, hands tangled in his hair. The 2024 season had been brutal, every race pushing him to his limit, the pressure of a potential world championship win weighing on him like a mountain. He could practically taste the victory, but the stress of it all had made him someone he barely recognized.
Y/N was sitting on the couch, arms crossed as she watched him pace. She’d noticed it for weeks now, the way he was shutting her out, snapping at her for even the smallest things, as if she were just another distraction.
Finally, she broke the silence, her voice sharp. “Lando, can you stop pacing for two seconds and talk to me?”
He stopped, sighing heavily as he turned to face her. “What do you want me to say, Y/N?” he muttered. “That I’m exhausted? That I can’t focus with all of this going on?”
“All of this?” she echoed, hurt flashing across her face. “What’s ‘all of this,’ exactly? Because I thought we were a team, Lando. I thought I was helping you!”
“Helping me?” he scoffed, running a hand through his hair. “Y/N, I have to focus. Every race, every lap, every second counts right now. I can’t… I don’t have time to be dealing with you—”
“Dealing with me?” Her voice was sharp, a bitter laugh escaping her. “Lando, I’ve done nothing but support you. Every single time you’re struggling, I’m here. And now you’re telling me I’m… I’m a distraction?”
He clenched his fists, too frustrated to back down. “That’s exactly what I’m saying! Every time I’m around you, I feel like I’m being pulled in a million directions. I need to focus on racing, Y/N. I need this championship.”
“And what about us, Lando?” she demanded, standing up, her own anger now matching his. “Do I mean anything to you anymore, or am I just some inconvenience? Because that’s exactly how you’re making me feel.”
He looked away, the words slipping out before he could stop them. “Maybe it’s just not working anymore.”
Her eyes widened, the pain in them unmistakable. She took a shaky breath, her voice barely a whisper. “So that’s it? Just like that? You’re giving up on us?”
“Maybe I am,” he snapped, though even as he said it, something twisted painfully in his chest. “Maybe I need to focus on my career. I can’t have anyone holding me back right now.”
She let out a bitter laugh, shaking her head in disbelief. “Holding you back? I’m holding you back, Lando? After everything I’ve done? The sacrifices I’ve made, the nights I stayed up worrying for you, the races I watched, praying you’d come home safe… that’s ‘holding you back’?”
“You just don’t understand,” he muttered, his voice softer now but still laced with frustration. “You don’t get the pressure I’m under, Y/N. I have a chance to win this championship, and I can’t be thinking about anything else.”
“Oh, I understand perfectly,” she replied, her tone cold. “You’ve let this championship turn you into someone I barely recognize. The Lando I knew would have never pushed me away like this.”
“Maybe you don’t know me as well as you think,” he said, the words hitting her like a slap.
She swallowed hard, the hurt on her face plain to see. But she wasn’t about to let him get away with this. “You’re right,” she replied, her voice trembling with anger. “Maybe I don’t know you anymore. Because the man I fell in love with would have never treated me like this. He wouldn’t have thrown away everything we have because he’s too blinded by his own ambition.”
“Fine,” he spat, his anger still raging. “Maybe you should just leave, then.”
Silence fell between them, the weight of his words settling like a stone in the room. Y/N stared at him, her eyes filling with tears, but she refused to let them fall.
“Don’t worry, Lando,” she said, her voice breaking slightly as she grabbed her coat from the back of the chair. “I wouldn’t want to keep you from your precious championship.”
She turned toward the door, but stopped just before leaving, looking back at him one last time. “I hope it’s worth it, Lando. I really do.”
And with that, she was gone, the sound of the door slamming shut echoing in the silence of the apartment.
Lando stood there, the anger that had been burning inside him now replaced by a hollow ache. He’d gotten what he’d wanted—he was free to focus on his racing. But as he looked around the empty room, he realized just how empty his life felt without her.
--
Lando sat alone in his dimly lit apartment, the silence pressing in on him like a weight he couldn’t shake off. It had been two weeks since Y/N had walked out. At first, he told himself he’d done the right thing, that he needed to focus on racing, that he couldn’t afford any distractions. But now, all he could feel was the aching void she’d left behind.
Race weekend had come, and the pre-race routines—the moments that had once been so seamless, so comforting—now felt cold and empty. His helmet was sitting on the counter, untouched. There were no little notes tucked into his bag, no reminders to stay safe, no lucky charm slipped into his hand just before he left for the track. Y/N had always known what to do, how to make him feel like he could conquer the world. Now, everything just felt wrong.
He leaned against the counter, clutching the edge, his heart pounding as he stared down at his helmet. The knot in his chest tightened with each passing second, a harsh reminder of how badly he’d messed up.
“Lando?” Max entered the room, noticing his tense expression. “You alright, mate? You don’t look yourself.”
Lando managed a hollow smile, waving him off. “I’m fine.”
But Max wasn’t convinced. He took a seat across from him, eyeing him carefully. “You’ve been off these past few weeks. Are you sure nothing’s wrong?”
“Yeah, just… racing stress, you know?” Lando muttered, though he knew it was a lie. It wasn’t racing stress—it was Y/N. She’d been his anchor, the one person who made him feel like he was more than just a driver. Without her, he felt like he was falling apart.
Max raised an eyebrow, skeptical but respectful enough not to push further. “Alright, well… if you need anything, let me know. You know I’m here for you.”
“Thanks,” Lando replied, trying to keep his voice steady. But as Max left, the emptiness clawed at him even more fiercely. He glanced back down at his helmet, the silence in the room growing louder, deafening.
He couldn’t hold it in any longer. He slumped down onto the floor, burying his face in his hands as memories flooded him. He remembered the way Y/N would look at him with those warm eyes, her voice filled with gentle reassurance.
The more Lando went through his days, the more he noticed just how much Y/N had been woven into every corner of his life. Each time he stumbled over a small moment they used to share, it was like a painful reminder of how deeply he had messed up.
Race Day Routine
When he sat down for breakfast the morning of his next race, he instinctively reached for the small bag she’d usually leave out for him—one filled with his favorite snacks, electrolyte packets, and a note in her neat handwriting that usually said, “For that extra boost, love. You’ve got this.” Every race day morning, she’d make sure his essentials were perfectly packed, knowing how easily he’d forget them in the rush.
But the counter was empty, and so were his hands. There was no note, no bag, no encouraging message. He’d scoffed at how overprotective she’d been, thinking he could handle it himself. Now, as he fumbled to prepare for his race on his own, the empty counter felt like a gaping hole in his chest.
Before the Race
In the paddock, he felt it again, the silence louder than ever. Y/N would always make sure to slip away with him for just a moment before he stepped into the garage, giving him a quiet pep talk when he needed it most. Her words, so full of calm and warmth, used to steady him, keeping the pressure from crushing him. She’d take his face in her hands, look him straight in the eyes, and remind him, “It’s just you and the track. Nothing else matters. Drive like only you can.”
He’d rolled his eyes at her sometimes, told her he didn’t need the cheesy encouragement—but she’d insisted anyway, saying, “Well, too bad, because you’re getting it.” Her words were like armor, a shield she’d wrapped around him before every race.
Now, standing alone by his car, he could feel the pressure creeping in, gnawing at him, and there was nothing to keep it at bay. He glanced around, almost expecting to see her in the crowd, but of course, she wasn’t there.
Late Nights in the Simulator
Back at the team facility, he spent more time than ever practicing, pushing himself harder, trying to keep his mind from drifting back to her. But even here, she’d left her mark. On the long nights, Y/N used to bring him coffee, perfectly made just the way he liked it, and sit beside him, giving him quiet company. She wouldn’t say much, just enough to keep his spirits up, occasionally throwing him an encouraging smile as he took lap after lap in the simulator.
And when he’d get frustrated, when he’d curse and slam his fists on the table, she’d place a calming hand on his shoulder, reminding him, “You’re Lando Norris, you can do this. Don’t let the tough laps get to you. Breathe.”
Now, he sat there, tense and alone, his coffee lukewarm and forgotten. No hand to steady him, no quiet reassurance. The simulator felt cold, and so did he.
At Home, Late at Night
Even the nights felt wrong. Y/N had always insisted on turning on the small night light for him, a tiny habit she’d developed when she realized that he hated stumbling around in the dark after a race, too exhausted to find his way. He’d teased her about it, saying he didn’t need it, but she’d laugh, saying, “Well, one of us does.” She’d make sure it was on for him every night she stayed over, like clockwork.
Tonight, he sat in the pitch-black room, the silence pressing in, the absence of the warm glow almost suffocating. He clenched his fists, swallowing against the ache that was rising in his throat. He missed her laugh, her teasing, the tiny acts of love she’d filled his life with.
Flashback
“You’re going to be amazing today, Lando,” she’d whisper, holding his hand just before he stepped onto the track. “Just remember, it’s not about winning or losing to me. I love you just the same, no matter what.”
And he’d feel his nerves melt away. She had a way of making him feel like he could face anything.
Now, without her, the fear crept back in, gnawing at him from the inside.
He pressed his palms into his eyes, a shaky breath escaping him. “God… what have I done?”
Every little thing she used to do, every act of kindness, every word of encouragement—he’d taken it all for granted. He thought he could focus better without her, that his life would be easier. But instead, all he felt was the emptiness of her absence, like a cold shadow in every corner.
His phone buzzed on the counter, and his heart jumped, a surge of desperate hope flooding him as he reached for it. But it was just a message from his manager.
Frustration tore through him, and he tossed his phone down, clenching his fists. He could still hear her voice in his head, her words from their last fight haunting him.
Flashback to Their Argument
“Don’t worry, Lando,” she’d said bitterly, her voice cracking. “I wouldn’t want to keep you from your precious championship.”
He remembered her eyes, red and tear-filled, as she looked at him one last time, filled with a pain he’d caused. He remembered thinking he was doing the right thing, choosing his career, telling himself he couldn’t afford to be vulnerable.
“Stupid, stupid, stupid,” he muttered to himself, feeling a tear slip down his cheek.
Everything felt different without her. The things he used to love—the rush of the track, the thrill of competition—they all felt meaningless now. He was pushing himself harder than ever, but it wasn’t out of passion. It was to numb the ache she’d left behind, to keep himself from falling apart.
But no matter how fast he drove, how hard he pushed, he couldn’t outrun the realization.
Race Day Morning
He stood in front of the mirror, suit half-zipped, his hands gripping the sink as he stared at his own reflection. His face looked drawn, the shadows under his eyes deep. The loneliness, the guilt, the regret—it was all written there, plain as day.
“You look terrible,” he muttered to himself, voice hollow.
He remembered the way she’d stand beside him, fixing his collar, laughing as she reminded him to keep his head cool. And now, all he had was his own reflection staring back at him, mocking him with his own emptiness.
Finally, the weight became too much, and he grabbed his phone, his fingers shaking as he typed her number. He didn’t know what he was going to say, didn’t know if she’d even answer. But he couldn’t keep going like this. He needed to apologize, to tell her how wrong he’d been, how much he missed her.
The phone rang, each ring feeling like an eternity. Just as he was about to give up, her voicemail clicked on.
“Hey, it’s Y/N… leave a message.”
He swallowed hard, the sound of her voice hitting him like a punch to the gut. Taking a shaky breath, he spoke, his voice breaking.
“Y/N… it’s me. I… I don’t know if you’ll ever listen to this, but I just… I’m so sorry.” His voice trembled, each word spilling out like a confession. “I was wrong, okay? I thought I needed to focus, but without you… everything’s falling apart. I miss you. I miss… us. Please… please just… call me back.”
He hung up, feeling the weight of his own words settle over him. But there was nothing else he could do now, except hope—hope that somehow, she might still care, might still give him a chance to fix the mess he’d made.
--
Lando had tried everything. He’d called, texted, even reached out to her friends, hoping someone could tell him where she was. But no one had any information; she’d slipped away completely. Days turned into weeks, and with each one, the realization sank deeper: she might never come back.
One night, Lando sat alone in his apartment, drained and unfocused, his phone resting on the coffee table. His mind was restless, jumping between regret and desperation, reliving their last fight, the look in her eyes as she’d walked out.
Then, the phone rang, startling him out of his thoughts. He grabbed it without thinking, not even checking the caller ID.
“Hello?”
“Is this Lando Norris?” a calm, professional voice asked.
“Uh… yeah, this is him,” Lando replied, his heart pounding.
“This is Dr. Kapoor from St. Thomas Hospital. You’re listed as an emergency contact for Y/N Y/L/N.”
Lando’s stomach dropped, his throat suddenly dry. “Yes, yes, that’s me… is she alright? What happened?”
“She was brought in unconscious a few hours ago,” the doctor explained. “We’ve stabilized her, but we’d like you to come in as soon as possible.”
Lando didn’t need to hear anything else. He muttered a frantic “I’m on my way” before grabbing his keys and running out the door.
The drive to the hospital felt endless, each passing second stretching painfully as he sped down the empty streets. His mind raced with possibilities, the worst scenarios creeping in, twisting his insides. His hands gripped the steering wheel so tightly they were white.
By the time he burst through the hospital doors, he was gasping for breath, his heart pounding as he frantically searched for her room. A nurse pointed him down the hall, and he bolted, not caring how he looked, just needing to see her, to know she was alright.
He found her room and stopped, momentarily frozen by the sight before him. Y/N lay in the hospital bed, pale and fragile, wires and monitors surrounding her. The steady beep of her heart monitor filled the room, grounding him slightly, but the sight of her like this tore at him. Slowly, he stepped forward, his throat tight, struggling to keep his emotions in check.
Just as he was about to speak, the doctor entered.
“Mr. Norris?” Dr. Kapoor’s voice was gentle, sensing his distress.
Lando nodded, barely able to manage a word. “What… what happened to her?”
Dr. Kapoor took a deep breath, her expression softening. “Y/N has a heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It’s a condition that can be exacerbated by stress, which could lead to fainting or, in severe cases, even heart failure.”
Lando’s face fell, his voice barely a whisper. “She… she never told me.”
“She might not have wanted to worry you,” the doctor said. “It’s common for patients with this condition to keep it private, especially if they think it might place a burden on others.”
Lando’s heart twisted, a wave of guilt washing over him as he realized why she’d never mentioned it. She hadn’t wanted him to stress, to worry, especially during the season when he’d been under so much pressure. She’d always put him first, even to the point of hiding something so serious.
He took a shaky breath, blinking back tears. “Can I… can I see her?”
The doctor nodded. “She’s stable now, and she’ll likely wake up soon. But remember, keeping her calm is crucial. She’ll need rest and minimal stress to recover.”
Lando swallowed, nodding quickly, but he couldn’t keep the emotion out of his voice. “I’ll… I’ll take care of her. I swear.”
Dr. Kapoor offered him a small, understanding smile before leaving the room, giving him a moment alone with Y/N.
Lando stepped closer, reaching out to gently take her hand. His thumb traced over her knuckles, and he noticed how cold her hand felt in his.
“Y/N…” he whispered, his voice trembling. “I’m so sorry. I should have been there. I should have known.”
He sat beside her, the weight of everything hitting him all at once. “I was so… so stupid. I thought I needed to focus on racing, but… God, I was wrong. I was so wrong. You’re… you’re everything, Y/N. None of this means anything without you.”
He stayed like that, holding her hand, his head bowed as he let himself cry for the first time in weeks. All the pride, all the anger—it had melted away, leaving only the raw, aching regret of having pushed away the one person who truly loved him.
After a few minutes, he felt her fingers twitch slightly in his hand. His head shot up, hope flooding his chest as he saw her eyes slowly blink open.
“Y/N?” he murmured, his voice thick with emotion.
She blinked up at him, confusion flickering across her face before her gaze settled on him, and he saw a flash of pain in her eyes. “Lando…?”
He took a deep breath, his grip on her hand tightening. “I’m here. I’m right here, love.”
She tried to sit up, wincing as the monitor beeped slightly faster. Lando was quick to place a hand on her shoulder, his touch gentle but firm. “Hey, don’t… don’t push yourself. Just… just rest.”
She looked away, her voice barely a whisper. “Why are you here, Lando? I thought… you wanted to focus on racing.”
The words hit him like a punch to the gut, but he forced himself to face her, to let her see the remorse in his eyes. “I was wrong, Y/N. I was so, so wrong. I thought I needed to do it alone, that I couldn’t let myself get… attached. But all I did was ruin the best thing in my life.”
Her expression softened, and he saw her blinking back tears. “You really hurt me, Lando. I didn’t ask you for much. I just wanted to be there for you, and you… you made me feel like I was a burden.”
“I know,” he whispered, his voice breaking. “And I hate myself for it. You did everything for me, and I didn’t see it until you were gone. I love you, Y/N… I can’t lose you. Not like this.”
A tear slipped down her cheek, and he reached up, brushing it away with a tenderness that spoke of all the things he wished he’d done sooner. “I’m here now,” he continued. “And if you’ll let me, I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you.”
She looked at him for a long moment, searching his face, and finally nodded, her hand squeezing his. “You hurt me, Lando. But… I still love you, too.”
Relief flooded his face, and he leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. “Thank you,” he whispered. “I’ll be better. I promise.”
For the first time in weeks, Lando felt a spark of hope, knowing he had a chance to rebuild what he’d nearly thrown away. And as he sat beside her, holding her close, he vowed never to let her feel alone again.
--
Lando had been the perfect caretaker ever since Y/N was discharged from the hospital. He took her straight back to their apartment, rearranging everything in his life to ensure she was comfortable and safe. Every morning, he’d bring her breakfast in bed with a ridiculous grin, complete with heart-shaped toast and fresh orange juice. He filled her day with little surprises—flowers by her bedside, a new stack of her favorite books, and even a fuzzy blanket he’d bought just for her.
One night, Y/N woke up in the middle of the night, instinctively reaching for him, only to find his side of the bed empty. Confused, she sat up, rubbing her eyes. She hadn’t heard him get up, and her heart skipped slightly as worry bubbled up, wondering if something was wrong.
Quietly, she slipped out of bed, her bare feet padding softly as she went to look for him. She found him in the living room, seated on the couch with his laptop open and a small notebook by his side. His hair was tousled, and he had a focused, almost determined expression on his face as he typed something into the search bar.
“Understanding Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy” appeared on the screen, along with several videos, articles, and patient forums. Lando had a pen in his hand, and as he clicked on a video, she watched as he jotted down notes on a page, his handwriting a messy scrawl but full of sincerity. The video’s audio was soft, and she could hear the narrator explaining symptoms, risk factors, and the importance of a low-stress environment.
Y/N’s eyes filled with tears as she watched him, realizing just how much he was trying to understand, to do anything he could to protect her.
“Alright,” he muttered to himself, tapping the pen on the notebook. “Avoid stress… maybe I can start doing a weekly meditation with her or, like… yoga? Yeah, that might help. And… maybe I should keep her work stuff organized so she doesn’t feel overwhelmed.”
Y/N couldn’t hold back any longer. She quietly stepped forward, and Lando jumped slightly when he felt her curl up on his lap, but he immediately wrapped his arms around her, holding her close.
“Hey,” he whispered, his voice tender as he brushed a hand over her hair. “What are you doing awake?”
“I could ask you the same thing,” she murmured, tilting her head to meet his gaze. Her eyes were soft, full of gratitude and love, and Lando’s heart swelled.
He gave her a sheepish smile, glancing at the open notebook. “I… I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right. I know I’ve messed up before, and I want to be the best I can be for you now. So, I figured… I’d do my homework.”
Y/N let out a quiet laugh, blinking back tears. “You’re really… reading up on my condition?”
“Of course I am,” he said, his voice warm but serious. “I need to know how to keep you safe. How to make sure you’re not stressed out or worried, and…” He swallowed, his voice breaking just a bit. “I just want to make everything perfect for you, love.”
She buried her face in his neck, her heart aching in the best way possible. “Lando… you’re already doing more than enough. Just… being here with me, caring for me… it’s more than I could ever ask for.”
“But it doesn’t feel like enough,” he whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of her head. “I’m never going to let you feel alone or unimportant again. You’re my world, Y/N. I want to make sure you’re as healthy and happy as you can be.”
She pulled back, looking at him with watery eyes, a small smile on her face. “Lando, I don’t need perfection. I just need you.”
His expression softened as he cupped her cheek, his thumb brushing away a stray tear. “Well, you’re stuck with me,” he said, grinning. “Because I’m not going anywhere. And I’m gonna keep studying this and doing everything I can to make sure you feel safe and loved.”
She laughed through her tears, leaning into his hand. “You already make me feel so loved. I don’t think you even realize it, but you do.”
Lando’s smile turned gentle, and he bent down to press a tender kiss to her forehead. “Good. Because I’m crazy about you, Y/N. I just want to be the person you deserve.”
She closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of his kiss settle over her, and wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her head on his shoulder. “You’re already that person, Lando. You always have been.”
He chuckled softly, wrapping his arms around her as he held her close. “Good. Because I’m not stopping until I see that smile on your face every single day.”
As Y/N nestled closer into his lap, her attention shifted to the laptop screen, where a doctor was speaking in a calm, measured tone.
“Managing stress is crucial for patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy,” the voice on the video explained. “Avoid situations that may induce high emotional stress. For instance, hostile conversations, arguments, or other confrontational exchanges can increase strain on the heart.”
Lando stilled, his gaze fixed on the screen as those words sank in. She could feel him tense beneath her, a flicker of regret passing over his face.
“That… makes sense,” he whispered, almost to himself. “I’ve been so selfish. I didn’t realize that my own stress… my own words… could actually make things worse for you.”
Y/N put her hand on his cheek, urging him to look at her. “Lando, it’s okay—”
“No,” he interrupted gently, meeting her gaze with a deep, remorseful look. “It’s not okay. I didn’t just make things stressful; I let you feel like you couldn’t even tell me what was going on with you. I was so wrapped up in myself… I can’t believe I was so blind.”
Y/N’s eyes softened as she watched him, the depth of his regret written all over his face. She leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to his temple. “We’re here now. That’s what matters. You’re here, and I know how much you care.”
He exhaled slowly, wrapping his arms around her a little tighter. “I’ll never let stress come between us again, love. I promise.”
They sat together like that, wrapped up in each other, as the rest of the world faded away. Lando continued to stroke her hair, murmuring sweet promises of the future he envisioned for them. And for the first time in weeks, Y/N felt a calm settle over her, knowing that Lando was there, exactly where he wanted to be, and that he wasn’t going anywhere.

medicine | s.j
in which jake is sick and the only thing that will make him feel better is a taste of you.
pairing: jake x fem!reader
includes: face sitting, oral sex, jake being sick, squirting, cumming untouched, cumming in pants, face riding (lmk if i missed anything).
jake was game to eat you out at any time.
you’re exhausted after a long day of work or classes? jake was there already kneeling in front of the bed, awaiting your pussy.
it’s the middle of the night and you’re tucked into bed, fast asleep? jake can’t help the craving he gets and just has to have one lick of your addictive taste before he’s able to fall asleep.
you step foot out of the shower and within less than a minute, jake is laying you down in the tub and devouring your pussy.
the point was, it didn’t matter the occasion. jake just always wanted to eat you out.
that was never anything you felt the need to complain about. you knew people who’s boyfriends refused to go down on them and you couldn’t believe it. you and your boyfriend had just about the opposite of that problem.
but since jake was always game, that meant he wanted it even when he was in not-so-great situations himself.
“no, jake,” you said assertively, shaking your head.
“please,” he begged, looking at you with those pleasing puppy-dog eyes.
at any other given time, you would’ve said yes. just like jake always wanted to eat you out, you always wanted to get eaten out. you two were a match made in heaven.
however, jake had picked up some virus going around campus and had been completely knocked out by it. he’d spent the past two days in bed sleeping, trying to rid his body of the sickness.
you’d been his faithful nurse, staying close by in case he needed anything. you made him soup, brought him medicine every few hours, monitored his temperature, and gave him everything else he could’ve possibly needed. except, that is, the one thing he actually wanted.
“why not?” he practically whimpered. “it’s been days. i deserve it. i’ll feel so much better.”
his desperation almost made you laugh. he wanted you so badly and if he wasn’t as sick as he was, you would’ve given it to him, but he just wasn’t well enough. he was still sniffly, still weak, still running a fever, and just simply was not in the right position to be giving you head.
“you deserve it?” you couldn’t hold back the laugh this time.
“i do!” he whined, not finding the situation funny whatsoever. “i’ve been stuck in this bed for days feeling like shit and all i want is to have my face buried between your legs. just a taste, baby, please.”
you shook your head.
“just a taste is gonna turn into you eating me out for hours,” you said.
“and what’s wrong with that?” he pouted.
“you need to be sleeping and getting better,” you told him.
he leaned forward in your shared bed to get closer to you, who was sitting at the foot of the bed. he placed his hand on your thigh, tilting his head to the side.
“your pussy will make me better,” he said softly.
you placed your hand on top of his, looking into his pleading eyes. he was still so handsome, even as sick as he was. you were tempted, you had to admit.
“i don’t know, jake,” you said.
“please, baby,” he begged you, practically on the verge of tears. “i’ll make you feel so good, i promise.”
his pink cheeks, his swollen lips, his teary eyes, you just couldn’t say no to him.
plus, he said it would help him feel better, so how could you argue with that?
“fine,” you gave in. “lay back.”
jake bit his lip to prevent himself from smiling in victory. his eyes lit up when you agreed and he immediately complied, lying back down on his back.
you crawled up the bed until you made it to his abdomen. you planted your knees on either side of him and hovered over his body, second guessing whether you should actually do this.
“are you sure, jake?” you sighed.
jake’s face flashed with terror at the mere idea of you changing your mind. his eyebrows furrowed together in worry.
“i’m sure,” he insisted. “please, i need it. it’s my medicine.”
for whatever reason, his words turned you on. calling your pussy his medicine was all you needed to hear to shuffle your shorts down your legs, leaving you bare and exposed to him.
he licked his lips and watched you closely as you crawled up the remainder of his body until landing by his face. you hovered above him, sighing at the sight of him underneath you.
“sit,” he urged, beyond eager to get his tongue inside you.
“stop me if you can’t breathe,” you warned, knowing his nose was stuffed and his mouth would be occupied.
he didn’t say anything, just grabbed your hips and pulled you down so you were actually sitting on his face.
a surprised moan escaped your lips as jake immediately started licking your folds, gathering all your wetness on his tongue. he moaned, muffled, but the vibrations from it were extremely pleasurable.
you dug your hand in his mop of messy hair, legs already starting to tremble as he swiped his tongue up and down the length of your pussy.
you looked down and you could just tell he was in his most happy place. his eyes were closed, savoring the sensation of licking your pussy and tasting your sweet arousal. he was almost moaning as much as you were, certainly enjoying it as much as you, if not more.
you turned your head back and weren’t surprised at all by the sight of his hips thrusting up into the air, desperate for any kind of friction. his neglected cock was straining against his pajama pants, but you knew he wasn’t expecting you to touch him. he just wanted to eat you out, and that was enough for him.
“tastes so fucking good,” he said through an exhale, taking a second to catch his breath.
“are you doing okay?” you asked him, raising yourself off his face.
“more than okay,” he assured you. “i could do this all fucking night.”
he grabbed your hips and pulled you back down onto his face, going straight for your clit this time. he wrapped his lips around the bud and sucked on it softly, swallowing your taste.
you yelped, your legs clenching around his face.
“oh fuck, jake,” you cried out, your grip tightening in his hair.
he released his suction on your clit and went back to gliding his tongue up and down your pussy. he stopped at your hole and delved his tongue inside, letting out a broken moan at your tight walls around his tongue.
you found yourself slightly grinding on his face, subconsciously trying to rub your clit against his nose while he thrusted his tongue in and out of your hole. you knew he didn’t care. in fact, he loved it. he loved you humping his face in an attempt to increase the pleasure.
you sat up again, removing your pussy from his face. a string of your arousal mixed with his spit kept your pussy connected to his lips.
he looked up at you in confusion and even a slight hint of frustration as to why you just took away his treat—your pussy.
“why?” he asked urgently.
“your forehead is so warm, jakey,” you said, having brushed against it while you were tugging his hair.
it’d brought you back down to earth, reminding you that you were riding the face of someone who was not entirely up to health.
“i’m fine,” he said, annoyed. “i feel so good, please just come back. let me have it again.”
he was so, so desperate. you knew you should get off and let him get some sleep, but he wanted it so bad. so, you lowered your hips back down to his face and allowed him to lick up your pussy lips.
“fuck, thank you,” he moaned out, relieved to have your warm pussy back on his face. “i feel good, i promise. just need your pussy on me, baby, that’s all.”
you sighed in pleasure, leaning back slightly and starting to grind again. jake closed his eyes again, lapping and slurping at your pussy.
your stomach was warm and the knot would unravel soon, you were sure of it. he was so good at eating you out, you never lasted long.
“harder,” he urged, pulling you down on his face even more. “ride my face harder, baby.”
you whimpered, humping his face harder. your puffy clit hit the tip of his nose every time you fucked your hips forward. jake fucking loved it. he loved inhaling through his nose and smelling your sweet pussy, having it right there in front of him.
he loved you sitting on his face just as much as he loved laying on his stomach and eating you out regularly. he loved when you would just lose all control and ride his face like you were riding his cock. he loved to be used.
“fuck, jake,” you sobbed out. “i’m gonna fucking cum, oh my—don’t stop, please don’t stop. fuck, i’m cumming!”
you squealed as your orgasm washed over you. your legs tightened around his face and his tongue quickened, eating your pussy through your orgasm and lapping at the excess wetness dripping out of you. you fucked his face, letting all your weight sit on him because your brain was in too much of a fog to care.
“fuck,” jake moaned against you. “you’re so fucking hot, angel. wait! don’t get up.”
he gripped your waist, stopping you from climbing off his face.
“why? you should sleep now,” you said, catching your breath from your orgasm.
he shook his head, pulling you back down.
“need more,” he mumbled, lightly circling your clit with the tip of his tongue, going gentle as to not overstimulate you.
“no, jake,” you declined, however made no attempt to stop him.
“shh,” he shushed you, disregarding your words. “please, baby. i just need a little more and then i’ll be all better, promise.”
you whimpered as he rubbed his wet tongue on your drenched folds. he wrapped his arms around your thighs, basically keeping you trapped on his face.
“jake,” you whispered, pushing some stray strands of hair out of his forehead.
“so good,” he mumbled, flattening his tongue. “ride my tongue, baby. c’mon, i know you can do it.”
you started grinding back and forth on his tongue, head falling back at the sensation. his tongue was so warm and wet and felt euphoric as he laid it out for you to use, to rub your spent pussy on.
if jake was paying attention to his own cock, he’d realize how much pain he was in. he was so, so hard, and needed to be touched desperately. but he couldn’t. he just wanted your pussy and nothing else, not even oxygen.
“fuck,” you moaned. “feels so fucking good, jake. i think i’m gonna cum a lot.”
you didn’t know what you were saying. you were so fucked out and jake was too pussy drunk and sick to comprehend your words either.
you knew what you meant, but he didn’t.
you rubbed your pussy all over his face, getting your wetness all over his nose, his cheeks, and his chin. he started licking you again, moaning nonstop.
“i’m gonna—mm, jake! i’m cumming!”
it hit you a lot faster this time, so fast that you couldn’t even give him a proper warning.
you also couldn’t warn him as a stream of wetness shoots out of you. you were squirting all over his face and that was what did it for jake. that was what had him humping his hips up into the air one more time and cumming untouched in his pants.
he moaned, feeling sweaty and lightheaded as he felt your wetness all over his face. briefly, he thought he might pass out. even feeling so weak, he still ate you out through your second orgasm, drinking all the fluid you’d just released and moaning from how delicious it was.
he hummed, babbling nonsense because he was so far gone. you pulled yourself off his face, your pussy twitching from over sensitivity.
“baby,” he mumbled.
“yeah?” you retorted.
“i came,” he told you.
you frowned, looking down at his pants and noticing the stain of cum seeping through the fabric.
“but…” you trailed off. “you weren’t even touching yourself.”
“i know,” he said. “i think i’m just…really sensitive when i’m sick. but guess what?”
“what?” you asked, already starting to pull his pants down to help clean up.
“i was right about your pussy being medicine,” he informed. “i feel completely better.”
you laugh, shaking your head in dismay.
“you’re such a weirdo.”
-
this is FILTH. what i wouldn’t give to sit on jake’s face man.

Weird Grandpa Story #2
I remember asking my mom once, if her dad had gotten ornerier as he'd gotten old. I'd heard about that happening, and it would've made sense for him. He was already the orneriest old cuss I'd ever met. Couldn't even imagine him being grumpier than he was.
Instead of answering the question directly, she told me about what it was like going to church with him as a kid. Their church was a small Mormon ward out in the sticks of Colorado, and he served as their Bishop - mostly by virtue of being the only one willing to do that much unpaid work. He was also the ward pianist. He actually liked playing piano, and he liked having an audience, so it was more or less understood that he was willing to be the bishop in exchange for being the pianist.
Which could've been a good trade, but there were a few problems.
The first problem was that Grandpa Dale played every song at about triple speed. He was a deeply impatient person, and that extended to how he played music. The second problem was that he had a bad habit of cursing under his breath. That would've been a scandalous enough habit for a Mormon bishop, but was made much worse (and also much funnier) by him being pretty damn deaf. So what he thought of as "quiet" cursing under his breath was more of just a verse hoarse way of yelling. I only visited him for a week or two every summer, and I still learned most of my bad words from him.
So every Sunday would start with a quiet prayer, and then Bishop Grandpa Dale would go to the piano, sit down, and play the nightcore version of Praise to the Man. He would occasionally play other hymns, but he really, really liked that one. This would continue until he hit a wrong note, which was basically inevitable because his music philosophy was that if he could play a song flawlessly, it was time to play it faster. So he'd play until he hit that wrong note, at which point he would scream-whisper SHIIIIIT and, because he did not actually read music so much as memorize it, the only way he'd be able to get his rhythm back was by going back to the start.
If it was a good Sunday, he could get it in two tries. Some Sundays took as many as five.
I learned two things about Grandpa Dale from this story. The first was that he could play piano. I'd never actually seen him do that before. Still haven't, come to think of it. Second was that the man that I visited once a year, who always seemed on the verge of exploding, who scared the absolute dickens out of me, was actually the chilled out version of the man my mom grew up with.
And it helped knowing that, actually. I'm actually a pretty anxious person, and my mom is, also, a pretty anxious person, and as a teenager we'd sometimes get in these doom loops where we'd wind each other up until our springs cracked. She'd be worried about me growing up to be happy, and I'd be worried about letting her down, and my worrying would make me unhappy, and my unhappiness would make her unhappy, and we'd just kind of dissolve into these anxieties like cotton candy in the sea and become totally unbearable to be around for a bit. Then my dad would sit us both down and very politely tell us that we were being crazy. He had this quote how being sad that someone else is sad that you're sad is the emotional equivalent of being a Klein flask and that at some point you have to just say I am allowed one (1) single layer of emotional recursion, at most, and ideally zero.
And it was always kind of embarrassing and silly, but when I was tempted to be more upset with my mom about it, I could remember the piano story and go: Sheesh. She has more of a right to be anxious that I do. For me it's really just genetics, but she grew up with the Cactus-Killing Gopher-Smasher. A whole 18 years of that. I spent two weeks every summer with that guy, and I love him, but I always came home feeling like I'd survived something. She's a trooper.
#babylon-lore#I have no idea how to end these stories cleanly#my stories about my mom's dad are just like#him being kind of crazy and then#over time#getting less crazy#while also still remaining crazy enough to commit war crimes against gophers#like his improved form is still difficult to be around#it be like that

— FLESH DIVINE.
♱ TRIGGER WARNINGS: Johann purposely weakens reader's body on this one, manipulation, Johann and the reader have an established friendship, reader has a crush on Johann?, suggestive kiss at the end ig. word count: almost 2k.
Johann was always meticulous, almost maniacally so. Maybe that was why he never got along with other people—he always had a way of pushing people away with his complicated nature. Always controlling, observing, and criticizing, a guy like him was hard to deal with, and you knew that very well.
Even though you managed to get through almost five years of friendship —a very rocky one at that— it still amazed you how someone who could seem so utterly unapproachable stuck by your side. Have you needed a shoulder to cry? Johann was there. Need a hand with your work? Johann is an expert on this, somehow. Need someone to remind you when to take your meds? Oh, he had the days marked down in his calendar already. No way he could forget such important details, he was a meticulous man after all, remember?
Not that you weren’t reliable either, during his first breakup you were there. The memory was still fresh in your mind as you recall how utterly bored he looked as he told you about that girl you thought was his soulmate. Couldn’t help but wonder if he truly cared about any of the relationships he had before, or even if he cared about the ones he has now, but you held back from asking at the time. Johann really cares about you, if he didn’t then he wouldn’t go and take such measures to ensure you’re doing alright, or checking up on you, right?—the little bug gnawing at the back of your mind didn’t think the same.
He cares about you, he really does, right? Even when you’re this weak and unable to do anything for yourself, he doesn’t think you’re an annoyance.
“You’re spacing out again.” Johann’s deep voice pushed those thoughts away in a split second, the man stared at you, leaning in to tap with one finger against your forehead in a playful gesture that was a little strange taking into account he looked as expressionless as always. “You’re thinkin’ too much, gonna fry your brain into jelly if you keep doin’ that.” A small smile rose on the corners of his lips, black eyes staring at you with a little glint on them you couldn’t quite decipher. “I like you better when you don’t think.” The words made you shiver a little, ‘I like you— ’ and the rest was a blur inside your head. A part of you wished he genuinely meant that in another way, he liked you truly, entirely, not just a small part of you. “What’s that even supposed to mean?” You laughed a little, forcing a smile.”Last time you told me you ‘liked me better when I was sick’ should I be worried?”
Johann’s eyes scanned your face for a second before he went back to pay attention to the stove; he was boiling some water to make you tea, Johann always made you some when he came home, you didn’t know why, he wasn’t even a fan of tea, but the gesture was sweet enough to make you forget how utterly weird it was the fact he only made one cup.
“Worried ‘bout what? I just said I like you when you’re sick because you’re more obedient. That’s it.” He turned to grab some cups from the cupboard as he spoke. “You’re less prone to pull out some bullshit and get hurt.”
Your face twisted a little into disappointment, oh, so he meant that. With a deep sigh, you tapped your fingers against the table, head resting against the heel of your hand. His words really weren’t laced with any malice, he spoke with his usual soft and calm tone, so you knew he wasn’t jabbing at you or even really blaming you for anything, but it still hurt a little. Noticing your expression Johann quickly approached, leaning over the counter to pat your head, his hand lingering on top as he scratched a little, like you would do with a dog. “Hey, sorry, was I too harsh? Y’know I don’t mean it for real.” “I know, I do. But it just feels bad… I’m always depending on you and I— I’m starting to feel that I’m just a burden, you know.” Johann lifted his hand, the sudden movement making you stare back at him. Eyes widen a little as you notice how his hand is still hovering on top of your head, it was like his brain stopped midway, his black eyes pierced through you. “You’re not a burden. Not for me.” Your head fell downwards as you managed to speak again, fingers fidgeting against the edges of your clothes, Johann’s stare was like a nail digging onto your skin, it felt so fucking unyielding you just wanted to pull back, to get away from his eyes. Why is he even staring at you so intensely? You didn’t say anything that bad.
“Yet I’m still calling you each time I can’t get out of bed in the morning. I really don’t fucking know why my body is like this, I-I’ve been healthy all my life, and then all of the sudden—”
His hand shooted to grab at the sides of your face and tilt it upwards to stare back at him, his fingers weren’t harsh on your skin but you could still feel the lingering threat of his nails about to dig, veins around his forearms bulging with barely restrained rage, yet his face remained so calm. “You’re thinkin’ too much again.” He continued. “Will you just let me take of you? I don’t care if I need to get up the bad at fucking three in the morning to help you go to the bathroom, I will.”
Your hand reached to grab his, trying to peel it away from your face, but Johann’s doesn’t even budge. “You’re not my family to have me as your responsibility, I’m really thankful, trust me, I am. But you’re my friend, and it’s not your job to take care of me when you’re always busy with college and—.” “I’ll quit college for you then.” What the fuck. Your eyes widen at his words, but he doesn’t look any less cold than a few seconds ago. “W-What…?” “You’re worried I’m wasting my time? I might be. I’m wasting my time by being away when I could be here with you.”
You should be happy, really, he’s telling you something so sickly sweet yet the way his eyes never waver away from yours, the way he holds your face like he’s about to break you and yet still remains so gentle, the way he’s speaking so carefree about something that important— yes, you really can’t be happy. “What are you talking about? I don’t want you to do that. Hell, you worked so hard for this career!” “I worked hard for this, for us. My career? It’s just a fucking side hobby at this point when I want to distract my head for a little while.”
You didn’t even notice when he walked around the kitchen counter, now he stood there before you, crouched down to meet your eyes. His thumbs caressed your cheeks with a tenderness you never imagined a guy like Johann could have, the feeling helping your already confused and dizzy head become even dizzier. “You know. For the only thing my studies have helped me is to know where to start.”
“Start—what?”
A dark chuckle escaped his lips, it was rare to hear him laugh and it was even weirder to see him with such a delighted smile, if you squinted you could even see a small blush forming on his cheeks. His fingers kept caressing your face as he kept your head still, unable to make any movements, forcing you to stare. “Oh, don’t play coy. You said it yourself, your body was never like this, right?” “Feeling sick all of the sudden, being unable to walk sometimes due to your debilitating state, damn, sometimes when I look at you I wonder if you can even breathe for yourself. I would love to help if that isn’t the case.”
Cold sweat began to form on the palms of the hands you clutched so tightly against his wrists, nails digging past the bandages and reaching to his skin, Johann didn’t even react to the stinging sensation, too lost on the heady feeling of excitement coursing through his veins. Leaning forward he pressed his body against yours, caging you against the chair. “That was me. All me. I even made sure you didn’t do any kind of physical activity to be extra sure you wouldn’t be able to handle it by yourself.” Bile rose inside your throat, what kind of fucked up person could say such things with that gleeful glint in their eyes? Was this the same Johann you knew all your life? Something felt so wrong, something with him was off this time, the hints were there but you were too blind to see.“And eventually like a flower, you bloomed into something beautiful and mine. Scheiße.”Your hands fell helplessly by your sides, you couldn’t even speak anymore, words long gone together with all the thoughts inside your head, the confusion and fear took a toll on you, and your weakened state made you unable to struggle, even if you wished to do so, your brain screaming to fucking kick him and run away. “You look pale, baby. Is your blood sugar running low? Here, let me help you.” Peeling his body away from just a second but not giving you enough room to even stand up Johann reached for something on the counter, you could some kind of paper being ripped, probably with his teeth or the free hand he didn’t hold against your shoulder, and then he went back to look at you again. “Here, say ‘aah’.”
As you didn’t even make the attempt to move Johann frowned slightly. “Y’know I don’t want to be forceful with you, sometimes I’m afraid you might break if I do too much. But you don’t leave any other options, do you?”
Next thing you know, Johann’s lips are against yours, tongue sliding with ease against yours, you could even feel his tongue piercing scraping against the roof of your mouth, he lets out a low amused sound like he was approving the taste of your lips. Being suddenly snapped out of your daze your hands reach to clutch against his shirt, clinging onto dear life as he devours you with eagerness. The kiss is unusually sweet, and you notice the small wrapper of the sugar you use for the tea empty on top of the counter. You close your eyes, embarrassed at how utterly disgusted you felt, not because of the sensations or the fact he was kissing you, but at how much you enjoyed it.
Once the two of you separated, you let out a breathy sigh of relief, and Johann wipes away your lips with his thumb, then his with the back of his hand. “There, much better now, right?”
You were right, Johann was truly a meticulous person.

Obsession
(after a quick brainstorm with @helen-with-an-a on me way to the Barca vs. Eibar game)
Lucy should have seen it coming. She really should have but yet it was a surprise – not really but it always takes her by surprise. Fans were joking that Alexia and Keira had a weird synchronization but that was nothing to your “Keiraness”. Lucy was currently standing on the sideline – training just ended about 10 minutes ago – watching you and Keira kicking the ball around for fun with Mapí, Ingrid and Marta.
“She really is a pequeña you...” Alexia said smiling slightly as she watched the five of you kicking around laughing “... and seeing her having fun is good – she's healing”
“Mini me... yeah” your sister snorted earning a questionable look from her capitana “... we may share a name, blood relation, eye color and facial features but she's all Keira in her behavior... except for... competitiveness maybe... that she has from me too...”
“Oh please Lucia...” now it was the blonde spaniard snorted “... we all see the similarities between the two of you”
“Yeah... then watch them” Lucy smirked “Watch them closely Capi”
And that's what Alexia did – suddenly she saw what Lucy meant. You and Keira were in perfect sync. Your movement was one-to-one the same. Every time Keira stopped the ball with her right foot her shoulder would go with the move just as her hand turned outwards. Even without the ball at your feet you moved the except same way. Keira went on shifting her weight onto the left foot – you moving with her. Even when Mapí slightly pushed you to get to the ball you still kept the shadowlike movement of Keira. It was like you and Keira were connected with strings and whatever the blonde did you did as well.
“What...” Alexia looked shocked shaking her head lightly when the small game of kick around stopped and immediately you and Keira fell into the same position one hand on your hip the other one pulling the trainings shirt up revealing both of your abs as you wiped the sweat of your faces.
“Told you....” your sister grinned victoriously
“I never saw that” the blonde catalan still shook her head in disbelieve
“Hm... you never saw them on the pitch together” Lucy grinned as you shrieked as Mapí sprayed you with her water bottle after you squeezed said bottle hard while the Zaragoza woman took a sip resulting in the water just hitting the back of Mapís throat making her cough hard
“It started when Bubs was three and Kei and I just started dating...” your sister now had a soft smile on her lips watching as you ran circles around Marta and Ingrid trying to get rid of Mapí who was hot on your heels “... she became completely obsessed with Kei”
“What do you mean?” Alexia asked confused
“Sit down Capi...” Lucy grinned “... that's a longer story... and they'll be occupied for a little longer”
“Ehrm... I'm very sorry I'm late...” a young Lucy stuttered standing next to a table where Keira was seated looking sheepishly “... I tried to leave without her noticing but she... wouldn't let me.... and then I had to grab her stuff to... and parking around here is a nightmare and then she wanted to walk – she's good with walking but she sometimes forget that she only has two legs so she falls a lot and I didn't want her to look like a homeless kid so I made her walk slow... so yeah... I'm sorry”
“Phones do exist you know” Keira looked at Lucy with a raised eyebrow “... you could've called.. or texted”
“I... don't know where I put me phone” your sister said shyly knowing it sounds like a cheap excuse
“Hm...” the blonde opposite to her hummed as you – for the first time – lurked around Lucys legs taking a sheepish look at the girl
“I... would understand if you don't want to do that anymore” Lucy said a little uncomfortable gesturing around a little bit
“And pass on the chance to meet that little Miss? Absolutely not...” Keira now smiled waving her fingers at you making you hide behind your sisters legs again
“I see...” your sister cleared her throat “... you wanted to meet her from the start... I'm just your way in”
“Good to know we're on the same page” the blonde grinned at your sister and suddenly Lucy knew she was forgiven – this time
“So... you going to introduce us?” Keira asked smirking slightly
“Bubs...” Lucy said softly as she crouched down to be at your height holding your little hand in her big one “... this is Keira... can you say hi to her?”
You took a quick glance at Keira before you quickly shook your head hiding your face in your sisters neck who just chuckled
“I tried...” your sister smirked at her date standing back up taking you with her easily “... obviously she's not interested...”
“Hm... what a shame....” the blonde sighed dramatically “... looks like you get a shot in the end after all...”
“I'll make sure to thank her later...” Lucy kept smirking as she pulled out her chair sitting down you perched on her lap still hiding your face “... but I honestly don't know what's going on – normally she isn't shy at all...”
“She doesn't know me...” Keira smiled noticing the small shy glances you threw at her “... of course she's going to be shy”
“Yeah no... that's not her at all... she yelled yesterday at a pal who cycled past to fast – to fast for her liking... called him a twat” your sister snorted obviously proud
“I hope you told her that's a bad word” the blonde raised her eyebrows
“Hey... she didn't called him a wanker or a cunt....” Lucy lifted one hand in defense while she held you tightly to her upper body “... I think that deserved an Ice cream”
“Iwe cweam?” you suddenly perked up
“You had Ice cream yesterday...” your sister pointed out “... no Ice cream today”
“Wucy...” you whined disappointed
“No no.... we agreed on something” Lucy said “... you don't want your tiny teeth falling out do you know? You'll look like grandpa when he forget where he left his teeth”
“Noooooooo...” you said horrified your eyes wide
“See.... so two Ice cream a week... no more” your sister said firmly but Keira could see the playful glint in Lucys eyes “... now that you found your voice again... can you please show I thought you manners and say Hi to me friend Keira”
“Hi” you mumbled quickly immediately hiding your face again
“Bubs come on... you normally aren't like this” Lucy groaned making Keira chuckle
“It's okay Luce....” the blonde waved off “... ready to order?”
“God yes... I haven't had time to eat before coming here” your sister said quickly looking down at you “You hungry Bubs?”
“Mhm” you nodded against Lucys neck
“Okay... what do you want? You know... I'll just order something for you” your sister pressed a soft kiss to your hairline
“Bubs please” Lucy pressed catching your hand once again before you it can connect with the salmon on her plate “That's me food – can you please NOT hit it with your dirty paws?”
“It lookin so foft” you said in awe trying to touch it once again
“Stop” your sister said firmly and you knew you SHOULD stop but the soft looking rose colored fish was just too fascinating for your little brain and your hand moved on it's own accord towards your sisters food again
“Bubs” Lucy now scolded you angrily “Stop it.. NOW”
“It foft” you looked up tears forming in your eyes
“It's still food... we don't play with food” your sister said now holding both your little hands together by your wrist so you couldn't attempt to smash her food “... I happily let you try BUT we do not play nor do we smash food”
“No play... no smash” you wailed out but your sister was immune to your tears knowing it was just because she restricted your movements
“Stop the drama... you're worse than Sophie” Lucy rolled her eyes picking some salmon up with her fork offering it to you “Here... you wanna try?”
“Nooooo....” you wailed even louder
“Suit yourself...” your sister shrugged her shoulders “... you know them tears won't work on me”
“Ehrm... Lucy” Keira now spoke up “... maybe you should let her feel the consistency”
“Oh god...” Lucy snorted “... believe me.. she knows what salmon feels like... she's just hangry... hm...”
“What?” Keira looked alarmed at Lucys sudden smirk
“Hey Bubs... Keira has pasta... you want pasta?” your sister smirked her voice soft “... look... with tomato sauce”
“Excuse me” the blonde looked confused but you were already on the way of climbing over to her and if it wasn't for Keiras quick reflexes you certainly would have hit the ground as you slipped from Lucys leg
“Hi” Keira said bewildered as you got yourself comfortable in her lap
“Omao pafa” you squealed happily your hand already grabbing into the food
“No” the blonde quickly reacted grabbing your hand just like Lucy did minutes before
“But...” your lower lip already trembled dangerously
“That's very hot...” Keira said calmly “... we don't wanna burn our hands now do we?”
“Nu uh” you shook your hands while Keira let go of your hand again
“That's my good girl” the blonde smiled picking up some Pasta with her fork “... now... what do we do when something is hot?”
“Blow is cool” you said seriously
“Smart girl...” Keira held the fork in front of your face so you could cool the pasta down yourself
“You can't be serious” Lucy mumbled as she watched the interaction between the two of you
“I swear Capi... I should've known...” your sister looked smiling at Alexia “... I should've know in that second that whatever bond they were forming in that moment that it would be something special”
“It sound like quite the first meeting” the blonde catalan smiled
“I think Bubs fell in Love with Keira before I did...” Lucy snorted watching as you now sprinted next to Keira your stride basically one “... now thinking about it I'm pretty sure that she was so shy because she immediately fell in Love with Keira... as soon as the name “Keira” fell you could get basically anything from Bubs”
“Bubs...” Lucy yelled down the hallway “... hurry... we promised Keira to pick her up from the station”
“I is coming” you shouted back your voice strained with stress as you quickly finished your present for Keira grabbing the piece of paper quickly running down the corridor towards your sister
“What's in your hair... is that glue??” your sister looked slightly disgusted
“It pwesent fo Keiwa” you said proudly showing Lucy your paper that was covered in glue, paint, glitter and stickers
“Lovely” Lucy mumbled pinching the bridge of her nose before pulling a ManCity hat over your glittery gluey head “Come on.... we don't have time to clean you up... we just stick you in the bath later”
“You no like?” you asked a little hurt
“It's super amazing” your sister said smiling widely even if just wished to get you clean right now “... I bet Keira will be so happy and thankful for your thoughtful gift”
“It you and Keiwa an Is an Tato and Manity and...” you started to explain your masterpiece while Lucy started to gently push you out of the door
“It really is...” Lucy said as she closed the door behind her “... something”
“KEIWA” you yelled happily seeing the blonde exit the train station
“Oy... stop yelling” your sister scolded you grabbing the hood of your jacket before you could start to run off “... she saw us already”
“Keiwa” you said still a little bit louder than inside voice but now quiet yelling trying to run towards her just to be held back by your sister
“Wait” Lucy said calmly “... we don't just run on the road... what do we do?”
“Lookn lefts and righfts” you said your whole body trembling with excitement
“Well... then do so” your sister told you and you quickly did as she said “.. come on Bubs... do better”
“But Wucy..... Keiwa” you whined
“Then take your time to LOOK and if no car is coming you can go” Lucy rolled her eyes “In fact if you'd stop doing half assed things you'd be already over there”
“Otay” you sighed and took a good look left and right making sure no car was coming “... no caws...”
“See... sometimes invest some time to do it properly so you don't have to do it again” your sister said smiling slightly “... off you go...”
“Keiwa” you started to take off basically throwing yourself at the blonde
“Hey Bitsy...” the blonde caught you easily chuckling “... have you been good for Luce?”
“Mhm” you nodded smiling widely as Keira placed you on her hip picking up her bag again
“Don't believe her... she was a complete maniac” your sister said grinning as she reached the two of you taking the bag from her girlfriend pressing a soft kiss to her lips
“I is no manitac” you complained loudly making Lucy and Keira snort successfully ending the kiss
“Sorry I forgot... you're an angel” Lucy smirked poking your side making you squeal
“Ugh...” you three heard suddenly behind you making you look over Keiras shoulder
“Disgusting” you saw a elderly woman stare at you “You have to infect that innocent child with your diseases?”
“Excuse me?” Lucy asked and Keira as well as you could hear she's starting to get angry
“Your disgusting dykes” the woman spat at your sister who put herself between you two and that woman
“Yous listens old hags” you said making yourself bigger in Keiras arms “... my Wucy lovins Keiwa... Auntie Jill says people likes yous just needs a good fu...”
“Jesus” Keira exclaimed as she covered your mouth with her hand looking at you shocked
“See... see what you've done to that poor kid” the old lady spat
“And we're leaving” your sister said finally as she pushed Keira forward
“Bitsy....” Keira looked at you after Lucy strapped you into your childs seat “... you won't EVER repeat what your Auntie Jill said...”
“But...” you started
“No Bits... I'm serious.. you forget what your Auntie Jill said and I personally will have a word with your Auntie as soon as we're back to training” the blonde said strictly
“I mades pwesent for you” you mumbled teary eyed holding up your present
“Oh Bitsy” Keira smiled softly being touched by your action “... thank you so so much”
“Is Wucy and yous and Is and Tato and Mansity” you mumbled as Keira leaned into your space pressing a kiss to your forehead
“It is really beautiful Bits...” the blonde smiled “... you worked very hard didn't you”
“Mhm... jus the best fo Keiwa” you said quoting your sister
“Really? Just the best for me?” Keira smirks her eyes finding Lucys who sported a slight blush
“Wucy always says to Auntie Jill...” you told the blonde as usual using no filter
“Good to know” the blonde kept smirking you oblivious to it “But now let's get home... I can smell the glue in your hair”
“Bubs... bath time” Lucy declared as you entered home again after dropping Keira off at her home
“No” you pouted
“What you mean no? Yes... obviously yes... you're all sticky...” your sister sat you down on the little bench kneeling in front of you taking your shoes off
“I is no baf” you said nodding seriously
“Oh but I think you do... you're sticky and you smell” Lucy poked your sides slightly making you giggle
“I is no smelly... yous smelly” you shot back
“Excuse me little Miss??” your sister exclaimed shocked playing along with you
“You stinks” you stick your tongue out at her
“Oh you just wait..” Lucy suddenly snatched you from the bench throwing you over her shoulder making you squealing laughing
“Wucy nooooo” you squealed
“Lucy yeeesss” she mimicked you
“Keiwa no baf” you tried to make your sister see reason
“Really? That's your argument? That Keira hasn't taken a bath??” Lucy stopped in the middle of the hallway
“Yes” you said still hanging over your sisters shoulder
“Bubs...” your sister sighed pulling you forward until you were perched on her hip “... Keira is old enough to decide if she wants a bath or not.... you on the other hand fall under my responsibility”
“Keiwa baf here?” you asked hopefully
“No Bubs... Keira has her own flat with her own bath... she doesn't need to bath here” Lucy said calmly
“No Keiwa...” you started pouting your little arms crossed in front of your chest “... no Bubs”
“No Keira no Bubs?” Alexia bursted out laughing “She seemed to always be a strong minded character”
“This became such a catch phrase....” your sister groaned watching as you practiced one touches with Mapí
“What's a catch phrase?” Ona asked coming down the sideline freshly showered an changed
“Wait... it still works” Lucy grinned yelling over the field “NO BUBS...”
“.... NO KEIWA!!!” Keira and you yelled back simultaneously laughing loudly
“That's the catch phrase” your sister turned to her girlfriend pulling her down onto her lap “It was Bubs thing to try and get out of things when Keira wasn't involved...”
“Ah...” Ona said confused while Alexia just chuckled
“Apparently our Cariño found quite the liking as a young One in Keira” Alexia chuckled
“Bebita would do everything for Keira...” the freckled catalan rolled her eyes playfully “... no one can ever reach Keira... not even Lucy”
“Oy... not true...” your sister exclaimed pinching her girlfriends side
“Who did you call when she refused to go to the dentist when her cheek was all swollen up?” Ona looked down at her girlfriend expectantly
“Keira” Lucy mumbled
“And how long did it take Keira to get her to go to the dentist while we where trying to get her to go for how long.... days?” the small catalan questioned further
“Two minutes” your sister mumbled embarrassed
“So yes... Bebita does everything for Keira” Ona grinned knowing she won that little argument
“Yeah yeah” Lucy grumbled giving up
“Bubs... you gotta get up” Lucy said coming out of the Bathroom where she already finished
“No...” you grumbled cuddling further into the warmth of Keiras embrace “Keiwa still in bed”
“It's our off day...” your sister said a little annoyed “... you've got nursery day”
“No Keiwa” you started to argue tiredly “no nuwsy”
“Hun it's okay...” Keira now interrupted knowing this discussion would go on forever if she didn't put a stop on it “... I'll take her.. it's fine... I can grab some breakfast on the way back”
“No for God sakes...” Lucy grumbled pulling away the blanket partly so your small frame got uncovered “... you stay here... she's gotta learn...”
“Lucy” the blonde tried again knowing it got to Lucy that you were so fixated on her
“No... Kei seriously... I understand she likes you but she gotta learn that she can't use you like that” your sister said pulling you towards the end of the bed by your ankles
“No Keiwa...” you said strained holding onto Keiras Pjs pants (that the blonde quickly threw on last night as she heard you trying to get to the door handle of the bedroom successfully interrupting “adult time”) “... no Bubs”
“Did you get her to Nursery?” Ona snorted at the image that was forming in her head
“Kinda....” Lucy grumbled
“Keira had to go with you?” Alexia smirked knowingly
“As soon as I had her in the car it was... fine” your sister defended herself still remembering the absolute breakdown you had the second you realized Keira wasn't coming to nursery with you
“Fine...” Ona repeated trying to hold in her laughter
“She stopped crying after four hours...” Lucy mumbled “.... when Kei picked her up.... after they called us... to please get her”
That was it – Alexia and Ona bursted out laughing
“She also started to behave more like Kei...” your sister said “.... copying her moves and stands”
“Okay Bubs...” Lucy smiled at you “... it's just us for the weekend... no games.... no nursery... Kei went to her parents place...”
“Mhm...” you said deep in thoughts “I is don't fink so...”
“What...” your sister looked down at you as you turned on your heels marching into your room “Bubs?”
Lucy followed you confused to see you throwing your little dinosaur backpack on the bad grabbing random things squishing them into it
“What are you doing?” Lucy asked bewildered watching you squeezing a second teddy into the bag
“I is packing” you said as you grabbed your backpack dragging it behind you past your sister towards the front door
“Packing for what?” your sister came after you just as you started to put on your shoes – wrong way around but it's the thought that counted right?
“We goes Keiwa” you declared seriously
“Bubs...” Lucy spoke gently as she kneeled down so she could speak to you correctly “... Kei is in Rochdale... we're in Alnwick...”
“Ands?” you asked tilting your head a little your hands finding your waist – Lucy had to do a double take because for the first time your really looked like a mini Keira who you were standing there “... yous has caw... we cans dwive”
“No Bubs...” your sister kept her voice soft “... Keira is spending time with her Mum and Dad...”
“So we's spends time with Keiwa...” you said confident “... everyone wins – wins”
“That's not...” Lucy shook her head slightly at your logic “... how it works”
“Yous fink a little more” you said patting your sisters head starting to drag your backpack outside “... I is waiting outside”
“She... left you standing there after she told you you can play taxi so she could go see YOUR girlfriend?” now Frido asked confused who sat down behind the trio mid story
“Basically yeah” Lucy shrugged her shoulders
“And she packed her own bag?” the swede clarified
“Wait... what did she pack?” your sister mumbled to herself wrecking her brain “... AH... yeah... two teddies, a bag of crisps – don't ask me why she had a bag of crisps in her room, her draw doodle thingy and a single sock”
“And Henry” Keira pointed out as she helped picking up the rest of the trainigsgear that got left behind by the trainers so you could have some fun
“Yeah... and Henry” Lucy nodded her head “... her rock.. we found him on a market... it was a rock with a face painted on it and googly eyes... she loved that rock... until it disappeared somehow”
“A... rock?” Alexia asked confused thinking she misheard
“Yeah... a rock” your sister confirmed
“She is certainly... a character” the blonde catalan phrased carefully
“Oh she's an absolute nutcase...” Lucy shrugged her shoulders again “.... but she's a Bronze”
“Wucyyyyyy...” you complained loudly as your sister carried you over the pitch with fast stride
“No...” Lucy sneered and you whimpered in process
“You stay here and if I see you on the pitch again before training is over Y/n it will have consequences” your sister put your down at the sideline rather roughly
“Wucy” you whimpered but your sister was already on the way back to training which cause an absolute meltdown from your side making you cry loudly big tears rolling over your cheeks “WUCYY!!!”
“Luce...” Keira mumbled hating to see you so distressed and sobbing
“Keira no...” Lucy snapped “... if Maz wouldn't have reacted so quickly and pushed her out of the way that ball would've hit her straight in the head and she probably would've hit the post... she literally could've died if it wasn't for Maz”
“I understand that” the blonde said calmly “... but she doesn't.. she understands that she got pushed and then you got angry with her... talk to her... explain it to her”
“I will... I promise... but I can't at the moment” your sister said looking Keira straight in the eye
“I know you got scared Luce... I know you ARE scared...” Keira said softly her voice low your loud sobs still echoing over the pitch “... but so is she... I think it's best if you take Maz over with you so you can explain that Maz didn't want to harm her”
“Keira I could've lost her” Lucy said her voice breaking “... a half a second later and she would've been gone”
“But she isn't” the blonde pulled her girlfriend into a hug pressing her nose into Lucys neck “... she's still here and she needs her big sister now...”
“Okay...” your sister took a deep breath “... okay... yeah you're right...”
“I know I am....” Keira smirked “... we both know I'm always right except for when we're both wrong... than it's just you who's wrong”
“Yeah I know” Lucy grumbled lightly “Happy wife... happy life”
“I see you are able to learn...” the blonde teased before pushing her girlfriend towards you “... go”
“Hey Bubs” Lucy approached you cautiously
“Wucy” you sobbed heartbreakingly
“Come here Bubs” your sister sank to her knees opening her arms but you didn't move an inch
“Yous mad” you hick upped scared to put a foot on the pitch seeing that training was still going
“I'm not mad Bubs...” Lucy said gently “... I was scared... come here Bubsy”
“Nu uh... twaining no ous” you swallowed hard
“It's okay... you can come to me” your sister encouraged you smiling softly and she exhaled deeply when you came running into her arms holding onto her tightly
“You have to listen to me Bubs okay” Lucy mumbled against your hair “... you can't just go on the pitch when no one is looking... if Mary hadn't been so quick you could've gotten very badly hurt Bubs...”
“I is no wants ouchie” you sobbed into your sisters neck
“I know that Bubs...” your sister said calmly still hugging you tightly to her chest “... that's why I said you can't just come onto the pitch... you can come on the field after we done training and when Keira and I can have an eye on you”
“I is sowwy Wucy” you sniffed
“I know....” Lucy mumbled into your hair “... I'm sorry too Bubs... I shouldn't have just let you stand on the sideline I should've talked to you... I was just so scared”
“I is fowgive you Wucy” you said seriously
“Thank you Bubs... that's really nice of you” your sister chuckled through her own tears
After that incident you never stepped a foot on the pitch without Lucy or Keira calling out for you firstly. Their teammate quickly got sucked into the circle of your defenders many of them still to this day even tho you were a grown up by now – at least on paper you were. The Lionesses quickly became aware of the bond you shared with Keira always getting a jab in against Lucy joking her own baby sister is stealing her girlfriend. Lucy took it with humor knowing at the end of the day Keira would scream her name not yours.
“Eat your dinner Bubs” your sister pushed the plate in front of you for you to push it away again
“No” you pouted
“Yes...” Lucy rolled her eyes pushing the plate back to you
“I is no wanna” you crossed your arms again over your chest
“Bubs...” your sister groaned knowing exactly why you refused to eat
“No...” you said turning away now the attention from half the team on your little argument
“Don't say it” Lucy basically dared you
“No Keiwa...” you started making your sister groan
“NO BUBS” the team answered for you bursting out laughter as your sister let herself fall backwards against her chair in defeat
“What did you do now?” said blonde chuckled behind you just coming out of a short meeting with the head coach
“Wucy no nice” you explained a little upset
“I just tried to get some food into you – excuse me for caring” Lucy threw her arms up
“Lucy you know how it works... No Keiwa” Keira smirked smitten
“.. no Bubs... yeah yeah... I understood it the first 5000 times... no need to repeat it over and over and over again” your sister rolled her eyes just giving up
“So... Cariño always was so obsessed with Keira?” Alexia asked taking in your stride as you ran up to the ball just outside the box the sunset letting your skin shine golden
“Yeah...” Lucy watched as your shot hit the crossbar for you to just get under it absolutely belting it into the net doing a bicycle kick “... and honestly I couldn't have done it without Keiras help...”
“Eeh... you sap” Keira now emerged from the tunnel her hair still slightly damp from the shower your kit bag in her hand “... she needed you just as much”
“No seriously Kei... I think I never thanked you for putting up with us” your sister looked at her ex with a slight smile “Thank you”
“Nothing to thank me for Luce...” the blonde smiled back “... I've done it happily... but now I'm just as happy I only have to look after her... so... thank you Ona”
“Ehrm... 3 years aren't over... I could still give her back... guarantee and everything” the freckled spaniard grinned
“Ehrm no... guarantee just if some of her parts break and she's not usable anymore” Keira pointed out “Also... I told you you get her as you see her... later reclamations will not be considered or are a reason for refund”
“Maleït” Ona snapped her fingers grinning widely
“Oy... are you really talking about me like I'm some old car?” Lucy looked hurt
“I mean...” Keira snorted making an overall hand gesture
“Fuck you Walsh...” your sister grumbled “I take me Thank you back...”
“Oh really?” the blonde smirked
“Yes...” Lucy huffed
“Okay...” Keira chuckled as she whistled for you to finish up your bag already over her shoulder as she started to walk toward the carpark “... she has to get vaccinated on Friday... it's your weekend”
“WHAT??” your sister shrieked making everyone laugh “Kei wait... I didn't mean it... you know how thankful I am for your help... always was and always will be... please”

My dad was able to explain fear and how to work through it so well that I apparently rationalized and created my own coping mechanisms for my OCD and didn't realize I actually had the disorder until I was 30.
No one can touch my room. I sound like a teenager saying this and in college I didn't actually care, but in my teenage years and when living in certain unsafe homes, I would have a goddamn break down if this was not listened to.
My life was high stress at one point, like HIGH STRESS. My brain redirected this to having utter and complete control of my room. One day, while I was at camp, my mom moved a stack of games from one shelf to another because she thought it would look nice. I came back, saw the change, and broke down sobbing, curled in a ball on my floor for twenty minutes. I had to move it back. I then moved it again to the same location later because she was right. It looked better that way. The problem was that I had to be the one to do it.
I knew it would change when I left home and I was right. I didn't care as much. The stress and the danger was gone from my life for the most part so the coping went away too. Fast forward to when I'm 30 and I move back into a high stress environment. My mom borrowed my sewing kit BY ACCIDENT. I was helping her with a craft project and apparently put it in the bag for her to take to work with her. She got back, unloaded it, and I found the kit. Out of order. It was a pretty raggedy thing in a ten-year-old plastic Ziploc with safety scissors and scraps of cloth. I had duct tape on the bag to cover the holes in it. But: The needles were out of order. The scissors were in the needle and stray-thread tin. There was a stray, white thread just floating around.
I stared. I hadn't had a breakdown in ten years. I told myself it was fine. I tapped my fingers on the table. Made a weird noise. Finally muffled a scream. Slammed my fist on the table to get the feeling of STRESS out. It didn't work. My brother asked what was wrong and I told him nothing because I KNEW it wasn't serious. I ended up in a ball on the floor trying not to sob as I told myself it didn't matter.
My mom apologized to me when she found me and I told her she didn't need to and that it wasn't her fault because I knew it wasn't. I was likely the one that had put it in there. I was still crying. It took me FIFTEEN minutes to be able to even look at it and fix it. I tried around ten minutes and I had to look away and stamp my feet to get the horrible feeling out and not cry. I was antsy for the next hour even after I fixed it. It doesn't even bother me to think about it now, four days later, but at the time I wanted to dig my nails into my own skin and make myself bleed just to distract myself from the feeling.
It was just a slightly messy sewing kit.
I never show signs otherwise. I check for my wallet, phone, and keys when I'm out several times but that's not all that odd. I've lost things before and am an expert at finding them. I guess I wash my hands a lot but I have dogs and I don't like getting sick. That's it.
My dad taught me that the repeating voice in my head that tells me everyone finds me annoying isn't real and that if you don't try that you'll never even know otherwise. He taught me how to identify what the fear looked like and what it was and how to call it a liar. Once I knew what to call it and what it was, I knew it was never who *I* was. It was normal to be scared and if other people could fight it then so could I.
[He taught me a lot actually. He taught me how to recognize social queues and what they meant. I got shouted at a lot as a child for not being able to react to them properly even if I saw them. Pretty sure the man is ND in some way and just found a super positive way to cope, which he passed down to me.]
I am still not normal, likely never will be, but I've been told so many times that no one would ever guess that I suppose I slot right in here. I didn't know it was actually called OCD until I was 30 and talking to another friend that had been diagnosed and thought 'that... sounds familiar.'
fuck it. shout out to "high functioning" neurodivergents
the ones who can mask easily, the ones who can get social cues, the ones who have managed to go most of their life not even knowing they were ND because they didn't present as the stereotypical ND person.
the ones who can pay attention in class, understand social etiquette, who understand societial expectations
the ones who don't feel neurodivergent enough bc they don't struggle in the same ways/areas a lot of NDs do, or they can't relate to other NDs' experiences because they always understood these things easily
the ones with high empathy, the ones who DO get the joke, the ones who are constantly told that they can't possibly be neurodivergent because they don't act like what you'd expect a neurodivergent person to act like.
you are neurodivergent enough. you are valid, and so are your experiences. not struggling as much as others do in some places doesn't mean you dont struggle at all. your condition and diagnosis is valid. your symptoms are valid. YOU ARE VALID. not checking all the supposed boxes doesn't mean you aren't neurodivergent. you are enough. you are valid. you are loved. you are valued. you matter. you belong in neurodivergent spaces, you deserve to use whatever resources are available to you, you are allowed to take up space in these communities. and i am so, so proud of you.
feel free to, and actually, i encourage you to reblog this with your experiences. we belong in this community as much as anyone else. please also tag this w/ any neurodivergent conditions i may have forgotten 💙
since this is getting lots of notes I'd like to add, even if you're undiagnosed or maybe self diagnosed, for whatever reason, (i.e. can't get access to a diagnosis, not being taken seriously, or just not wanting an official diagnosis, etc.) this still applies to you. actually especially to you folks. don't think for a second you're not valid just bc you don't have the paperwork or whatever to say it
#OCD#I taught all my ND friends how to deal with fear and anxiety because I thought it was normal#and that literally everyone dealt with the weird horrible thoughts that I did#I could defrentiate between 'wow that's a horrible weird thing to think' and 'this is not reality so it doesn't matter'#like fear matters#but not if it stops you from anything else#being sacred of being bit by a rattlesnake while hiking in AL is normal#assuming you're going to randomly murder children is not#I've had both thoughts

i’d like this quinn. what do you think, alli?.. who you picking?
— ✶ —
apologies i have a slight sabrina carpenter obsession. and, this has been in my head floating around for 3 days so i thought i’d share. ₊˚⊹
oh i’m 100% picking quinn are you kidding me? he’s such a munch it’s not even funny
anytime, anywhere, for any reason. and you know what…this has given me a thot
because he wouldn’t be able to wait, ever. once he’s got the craving, he’s dragging you to the nearest empty room, secluded corner, bathroom, literally anywhere he can just to get his fix. it doesn’t matter who’s around or what’s going on. once he thinks about it, he’s insatiable.
like when he has everyone over at the lake house for a backyard barbecue, and he sees you sitting all pretty and talking to his brothers while he tends to the grill. you’re still wearing your bathing suit from earlier, top half covered in one of his swim shirts. the sight is enough to bring him to his knees. the tight material clinging to your body, causing your colorful top to peek through the light material.
he forces himself to look away and focus on the task at hand, knowing it’ll just be a couple more hours before he has you all to himself. when he hears you squeal, however, his attention snaps back to where you were just sitting. instead of seeing you perched on the arm of one of the white adirondacks, he sees you slung over jack’s shoulder. and suddenly a couple of hours is entirely too long to wait when he sees your ass in the air on full display, his shirt doing nothing to cover your modesty.
“jack! put her down! food’s almost done!” he yells out, trying to keep his voice even as he watches jack place you gently on the ground. “y/n, baby, come help me grab some dishes for all this,” he calls out next, turning the grill on the lowest setting he can, watching you steady yourself before jogging towards him.
he holds the sliding glass door open for you, slipping in right behind you and subtly flipping the lever to lock it.
“how many plates do you need?” you ask him, back turned as you open the cabinet to grab what he asked for, oblivious to his hungry stare.
he walks up and grabs your waist, spinning you around to face him so fast you’re almost dizzy.
“oh, i didn’t need you to grab plates,” he tells you, staring down at you with dark eyes. “just wanted to get you alone for a minute. driving me crazy out there in this, you know that?” he toys with the hem of his shirt on your body.
“quinn, everyone’s out there waiting on dinner,” you whisper as you feel his hand trail lower, toying with the bow tied on your thin bikini bottoms.
“guess i gotta be quick then, don’t i? need my appetizer first,” he whispers back to you, bringing his face dangerously close to yours, but never making contact.
you gasp when he brings both hands behind your warm thighs, picking you up while your hands fly to his shoulders and legs wrap around his torso, ensuring you don’t fall.
he doesn’t say a word as he walks you over to the large living room, stopping right in front of the couch where a large rug is laid out. you’ve always told him how much you love this rug, wanting one just as soft in your own shared apartment back in vancouver.
dropping to his knees, he gently lays you down on the plush surface. you finally unlatch your legs from his body, letting them rest on the floor on either side of his bent knees.
“gotta be quiet, gonna be quick. you ready?” he asks you, trailing a finger over your clothed clit.
“mhmmm” you hum out, squirming to try and increase the friction from his finger.
he takes the small bow he was playing with earlier and pulls the string, the entire knot falling apart in one go. he leaves the other side tied, just folding the material to the side to expose your glistening pussy.
“god, this was too easy. you’re already so soaked. you think about this as much as i do, huh?” he rasps out, flattening out his body into position, taking in your smell.
you aren’t given the chance to respond. as soon as he was level with your core, he’s attacking it like a man starved. you cry out at the sensation.
“shhhh, told you to be quiet, sweetheart,” his words vibrate against you, making you whimper.
he moves his tongue in all the right ways, swirling and sucking at a deadly pace. he’s always known exactly what sends you over the edge. he’s relentless, but never sloppy or rushed.
needing to ground yourself to something, you fist his hair, driving his face further into you.
the sound that comes out of him is animalistic, loving nothing more than to suffocate between your folds. he’s gripping your ass, pulling you as close to him as he can get while still being able to somewhat breathe.
your soft whispers of his name only spur him on, surprising you when he gives your clit a small nip. your entire body jolts at the sensation. you sit up slightly, mouth open but no sound coming out.
“liked that, huh? like it when i take a bite of my favorite snack?” quinn smirks as he looks up at the shocked look on your face. his own is glistening, lips swollen and red, and you nearly cum right then and there.
he dives right back in, adjusting himself slightly lower. you fall back onto the plush rug with a soft thud when you feel his tongue enter you.
he feels you clench around the muscle, devouring every ounce of your arousal. absolutely nothing in this world compares to your taste, he thinks to himself. if he could bottle you up and sprinkle you on every meal he ever eats, he would. actually, forget real food, this is what he wants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
“god, q, don’t stop. so close,” you whine. he can feel you flutter around his tongue, bringing his hand up to pinch at your bundle of nerves.
the feeling causes you to spasm, not even knowing how his fingers went straight to your clit considering his eyes are closed as he focuses on driving his tongue in and out of you.
he can feel the second you hit your release, stilling his tongue inside of you to lap up every drop of satisfaction that oozes out of you.
your legs are shaking uncontrollably, your mouth frozen in a silent ‘o’, wanting nothing more than to scream out, but stunned to silence with how hard your orgasm hit you.
quinn doesn’t stop his slurping and sucking until you’re pulling away at the sensitivity of it. he detaches himself from your spent cunt with a loud smack, bringing his body to hover above yours.
your heavy eyes look up at him, chest heaving while you try to catch your breath. “god, you’re an amazing cook, you know that?” he smirks down at your blissed out expression.
“what?” you sigh out, confused if you heard him right, considering the ringing in your ears.
“you’re a phenomenal cook. always make the best meals for me. know just what i’m craving every time,” he repeats himself, reaching a finger down to run through your sensitive folds, collecting more of your juices. “makes me want seconds every time,” he says, bringing the digit up to his mouth and sucking it clean, groaning like it’s a delicacy.
you whine, shaking your head. you’re entirely too sensitive right now, teetering on the edge of discomfort and pleasure.
“oh, don’t worry sweet girl, not right now. gotta go make sure everyone gets their dinner first,” he chuckles, re-tying the knot he un-tied only minutes prior.
he grabs your hands and gently brings you to a sitting position, then helps you stand.
“can’t wait for my dessert later, though,” he whispers in your ear before giving you a kiss to the temple, making sure you’re steady before walking away with a knowing grin.

The Devil Dances With A Smile
Chapter Two
He can't kill you. He can't bring himself to lay a hand on you. So, he falls for you instead (its a shame his employer really wants you dead)
Hitman!Max x reader
Chapter One
The teachers lounge was rarely a good place to nap. Somebody was always yapping about something. On any day but today, that would have been Max. Yapping at Charles, who would yap back.
Today, though, he was far too tired to yap. He laid his head down on the table, his energy drink forgotten in front of him. The teachers lounge was the only place he could enjoy his much needed energy drinks, especially if he didn't want the kids to see.
"You look like shit," Charles muttered as he joined him, sipping his coffee.
Max looked up only to glare. He quickly laid his head back onto the table and shut his eyes.
"Jim and Sass keep you up again?"
Oh, that was right. Back when he and Charles first started their jobs, Jimmy and Sassy were his excuse for everything. It was better that way, though. If Charles knew what he was really doing, he'd never look at him the same way.
"Just let me sleep, Charlie," Max mumbled through a yawn.
Leaning back, Charles sipped his coffee, but he said nothing more. He kept his eye fixed on Max, just watching him. When the bell went, he woke Max up. Snapped his fingers in front of his face to make him just a little more alert and sent him in the direction of his classroom.
Mac moved through the day like a zombie. He barely got through it, his only aid being the red bull he kept hidden in his thermos.
The thing about Max was that he hated coffee. Last night had been a charade; he hid every grimace behind what he hoped was a charming smile. When you topped him up for a second cup, he guessed that it worked.
Still, he wouldn't be ordering another from you. But he would be going back. Research, he told himself. To find out why somebody would want you killed. Were you really that bad a person? So bad that somebody was willing to pay a lot of money to see you dead at his hands? He just couldn't see it.
The school day came and went as it always did. Max stayed behind and tidied his classrooms. Put the text books back on the shelves and picked up paper left behind by the students.
A drawing. He knew immediately which student had done it. A talented artist who had spent the lesson drawing him and Mr Leclerc from history locking lips.
Chuckling to himself, Max shoved the drawing into his drawer. He grabbed his bag, the Red Bull disguised in his coffee thermos, and headed out.
Max had never dreaded going to his second job before, not since his first day. But tonight? Tonight was different.
For the first time ever, he hadn't completed the job.
He moved slowly as he got himself showered and changed, making dinner for himself and feeding the cats. Jimmy and Sassy fussed around his legs, and Max took his time to give them attention, putting off the inevitable.
Christian was gonna have his ass.
Tying his shoelaces took longer than normal, but that was because he was stopping every few seconds to give his cats kisses. “I love you both,” he assured them, running his hand along Jimmy's back and up his tail. “If daddy doesn't make it home, uncle Charles is gonna take care of you, okay?”
He swallowed the lump in his throat and headed out the door.
Never before had Max wished for traffic. Never before had he wished for his commute to his second job to take longer than the usual twenty minutes.
But it felt all too soon that he pulled into his parking space. He sat there for several minutes, making sure he had everything that he needed. Keys, wallet, phone. All already in his pocket. Convenient.
He forced his brain to think up the worst that Christian could say and do as he walked towards his office. Shoot him dead was the worst he could do, tell him he's fired was the worst he could say.
Max sucked in a breath. He pushed down the handle and opened the door, letting himself into the office. If he was a weaker man, his legs would have been buckling as he approached the desk.
"Your target is still alive."
Max nodded as he sucked in a breath. "I know," he said. "But she's tricky," he finished.
Christian blinked at him. "She's a waitress," he replied. "Can't you shoot her dead when she's behind the counter?"
A sigh left his lips. "Just trust me, Christian, it's not that simple. She's got colleagues and customers, people that care about her. I can't just kill her there; I've got to gain her trust first."
Christian levelled him with a look. Unimpressed, but accepting. "Fine. Just get it done," he said and sent Max on his way.
He couldn't keep putting it off, he thought as he drove towards the café. He immediately spotted you, clearing the tables by the window. He watched you pause and look out across the lamp lit street.
Climbing out of the car, Max started towards the café. His mouth was dry as the bell above the door rang, signalling his arrival.
You looked up as the bell rang, a smile splitting across your face. "Well hey, stranger," you said, your grin widening. Any more and your face would have hurt.
"Nice to see you again," Max said as he slipped into the nearest seat.
You leaned against the table. It wasn't like you were trying to flirt, trying so hard to appeal to him. But it was working. Your pretty eyes, your pretty smile. He could have stayed here all day staring at you.
You took his order, just a coffee. But you threw in a pastry for him, a treat, on the house.
For the first hour, Max sat there. As much as he wanted to talk to you, you were too busy working him to give him the attention that he wanted. But you met his eye, gave him a warm smile as you cleaned the rest of the cafe.
Finally, you leaned against the table once again, your palm flat as you angled your body towards him. "So, what? Are you stalking me or something?"
For a moment, Max panicked. But then you laughed and his entire body relaxed. "It's not every night you meet a pretty girl in a dingy café," he replied and your cheeks heated up. The little 'no offense' he added at the end was so endearing, you couldn't help but slip into the seat.
Max was easy to talk to, but you knew that from the day before. He showed you pictures of his cats, telling you all about them until you got called into the kitchen to run food.
As soon as table 43 had their food, you returned to Max's table. "I still don't get what you're doing here," you said to him, not bothering to sit down this time. You only had five minutes left on the clock. "You're a teacher, a local one. You don't get the train anywhere, so why are you here?"
His face was bright red and he pushed his hair back, swallowing. "The first time, I was just looking for something to drink. I came in today because I wanted to see you," he confessed, scratching at the back of his neck.
You checked your watch. "Let me clock out, and then you can walk me to the bus stop again."
Before you could walk away, before you could get changed and walk back towards him, Max grabbed your arm. Your immediate instincts had you quickly pulling out of his grip and taking two steps back.
Max dropped his hand. He didn’t say anything, didn’t call out your behaviour. Instead, he fished his car keys from his jacket pocket. “Or I could drive you home, if you like.”
He didn’t drive you home that night. But he did walk you to the bus stop again. You stood closer to him than you would to any of your other customers. “I want to take you out at some point,” he said, staring down at you. The bus was pulling up, he only had a few seconds. “On a date.”
You didn’t gasp, you weren’t surprised. But your cheeks still heated up. “Tomorrow,” you said and smoothed down his jacket. “We’ll arrange it tomorrow.”
Max watched as you stepped onto the bus and paid for your ticket. He watched as you sat somewhere near the back.
As soon as the bus pulled away, Max headed back towards the car. His phone vibrated in his pocket and he pulled it out, swiping his thumb across the screen to answer it. “Soon, Christian,” he said, before Christian had the chance to say anything to him. “She’ll be dead soon.” He swallowed the lump in his throat as he climbed into the car.
Christian paused for a moment. An anxiety inducing moment. ‘Lando is gonna take on the job’, that was what he was ready for him to say. “Our employer wants her dead within the next two weeks. Get on with it.”
The call ended and Max dropped his phone onto the centre console. A sigh left his lips and he began to drive, heading in the direction of the bus. There weren’t many occasions that called for Max to tail a bus, and it wasn’t all that easy. Every time the bus stopped at a stop, he parked where he could until the bus moved on.
But then you got off of the bus and began your walk. As you got off of the bus, Max parked his car and climbed out. He followed you, ducking behind bins and bushes. You didn’t turn around, had no idea you were being followed.
You weren’t expecting any sort of danger. Maybe it made you naive. You had no idea of the danger you were in. Max kept following you until you made it to your apartment complex. The sun was rising, the streets no longer dark.
You were in so much danger, so much fucking danger. Max swallowed the lump in his throat. He couldn’t let anything happen to you, he knew that much.
a/n: part two! it actually feels so good to be working on a series again. for those that don't know, i'm currently working on a lestappen werewolf series (that i hope to have posted in the next week) so keep an eye out for that!

JUST THE TWO OF US ⟡ PSH
PRECIS ⦂ it’s halloween night, and the haunted house tour seemed like a fun idea—until the power goes out and you're stuck in a small room with park sunghoon, your longtime friend, who you might have a small crush on.

halloween has the air buzzing with a lively, mischievous thrill. the haunted house seemed like the perfect idea to cap off the night—rumors of ghostly happenings in the abandoned theater had drifted through town for years. finally, someone’s turned it into a labyrinth of horrors, packed with elaborate sets and bloodied actors. it’s dark, really dark, with thick fog from smoke machines swirling around the floor, and you’re already feeling the chill run up your spine.
but somehow, after a series of wrong turns and quick, scattered footsteps, you find yourself in a narrow, shadowed room—alone with park sunghoon.
“looks like we lost the others,” he says, glancing around as if they might somehow appear through the walls. the dim light catches the faint splatters of fake blood painted across his white shirt, casting a sharper edge to his already sharp features.
“yeah,” you breathe, trying to sound calm, though your heart is thudding fast, quicker than any scare from the haunted house could’ve caused.
you’ve known sunghoon for years, growing up with the casual touches and friendly teasing that come with a close friendship. yet tonight, as he looks at you with a slight curve to his lips, there’s something unfamiliar in his eyes—something darker, something almost daring.
“i thought you weren’t scared,” he taunts, his voice lower than usual, a teasing edge to it as he leans a fraction closer, his face inches from yours.
you scoff, tilting your chin up. “i’m not,” you counter, though it sounds weak, and he notices—of course, he notices, his smirk widening.
“right,” he murmurs, and there’s a flicker in his gaze that tightens something low in your stomach.
the power flickers, and suddenly, the single light cuts out completely, leaving you in total darkness. you gasp involuntarily, and he laughs softly, the sound rolling through the silence.
there’s a heartbeat, then another, and you can feel his breath so close, a warmth mingling with the chill of the room. he’s just there, barely inches away, and it feels like all the tension between you has sharpened, something taut and humming in the dark.
“so,” he says, voice a low murmur, each syllable seeming to echo in the tight space, “what if i told you i kind of like this—just the two of us in here?”
you swallow, your own breath trembling in response. “oh? and why’s that?”
you hear the faint shift of his shoes against the floor as he steps closer, the fabric of his shirt brushing your arm, his presence overwhelming in the pitch-black room.
“what if i wanted to do something about it?” his voice is softer now, almost hesitant, and you can feel the brush of his lips against your ear.
it’s barely a whisper, but it sends a shiver down your spine. you hold your breath, frozen in place, as if any movement might break this spell, as if the darkness is a cocoon, binding the two of you in this stolen moment.
then, his lips graze yours, softly at first, like a question. your breath catches, and his hand slides up, cupping your face gently, his thumb brushing over your cheek as his mouth presses against yours, tentative but growing bolder. the kiss is soft, hesitant, until he feels you leaning into him, your fingers clinging to his shirt. that’s all the encouragement he needs.
sunghoon’s kiss deepens, his lips parting yours with a slow, tender hunger that sends warmth spreading through every part of you. you melt into him, the weight of all the unspoken feelings you’ve hidden for so long pouring out in each touch, each breathless gasp as he pulls you tighter against him.
his hands slide down, tracing the line of your back, pressing you into the solid warmth of his body. your own hands are exploring now, mapping the lines of his shoulders, the strong muscles of his arms. you feel the shift as he steps back, gently guiding you until your back hits the wall, his body pressed against yours.
the kiss becomes more desperate, a clash of lips and teeth and heat as his fingers trace under the hem of your shirt, grazing over bare skin, igniting a spark that builds, hotter and more demanding. his lips leave yours, trailing along your jaw, down your neck, where he presses open-mouthed kisses that send shivers through you.
you tilt your head back, breathing hard, as he leaves a trail of soft, heated kisses down your throat, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin, making you gasp. you can feel his heartbeat, rapid and unsteady, as he presses closer, his hand sliding down to your thigh, fingers digging in as he lifts your leg, wrapping it around his waist.
the world narrows down to the feel of his hands on you, his lips, the press of his body, and the thick, dark air around you both. you want more, need more, and your hands tug at his shirt, pulling it over his head and tossing it aside. you can’t help the way your hands roam his bare chest, feeling the way his muscles tense beneath your touch. his skin is warm, almost searing, and he shudders as your fingertips trace the lines of his body, memorizing each dip and curve.
his fingers slide under the waistband of your jeans, his touch electric against your skin. you gasp, closing your eyes as his hand moves lower, delving between your legs. the sensation is overwhelming, a mix of pleasure and anticipation that has you trembling in his grasp.
"sunghoon," you whisper, your voice barely audible over the pounding of your heart.
he tightens his grip on you, his thumb brushing against the sensitive nub hidden beneath your underwear. "tell me what you want," he murmurs, his voice a deliciously dirty rasp in your ear.
you bite your lip, torn between wanting to tease him and needing to give in to the desire pooling deep inside you. "i want..." your voice trails off, unsure how to articulate the wildfire building between your thighs.
"what do you want?" he repeats, his fingers moving more confidently now, pressing and circling with a slow, deliberate rhythm that has you arching into his touch.
"your mouth," you manage to say, eyes fluttering open to meet his gaze. "i want your mouth."
a dark, satisfied smile curves his lips, and he doesn't waste any time dropping to his knees in front of you. his hands move to your hips, fingers digging into the denim as he pulls your jeans and underwear down to your thighs. the cool air against your heated skin makes you shiver, but it's quickly replaced by the warmth of his breath as he leans in, his mouth hovering just above your aching core.
"fuck," he mutters, looking up at you with an intensity that almost takes your breath away. "you're so beautiful like this."
before you can respond, his tongue darts out, flicking across your clit in one swift, teasing motion. you cry out, grabbing handfuls of his hair as his mouth descends on you, warm and wet and utterly consuming. he alternates between gentle, teasing licks and firm, passionate sucking, all while his fingers continue their work below, stroking and rubbing until you think you might burst from the sheer pleasure of it all.
"sunghoon, please," you beg, your body trembling with need. "don't stop."
he chuckles darkly against your skin, the vibrations sending shivers down your spine. "never," he whispers, his voice muffled by your arousal. "i could never stop."
with that, he sinks two fingers into you, curling them expertly as he continues to lavish attention on your clit with his mouth. the dual sensations are too much—too good—and you can feel the beginnings of your orgasm building, waves of pleasure crashing over you until you're no longer sure where you end and he begins.
"faster," you pant, your hips bucking against his hand. "please, faster."
he obliges, picking up the pace of both his fingers and his mouth, the sounds of his sucking and slurping filling the small, shadowy room. your nails dig into his scalp, your back arching as the pressure builds to an almost unbearable point. and then, suddenly, it releases—a tidal wave of ecstasy that has you crying out his name as you come undone around his fingers.
he doesn't stop, not even when your body is shaking and gasping for breath. instead, he rides out your orgasm, milking every last drop of pleasure from you until you're left limp and quivering, your vision swimming with stars.
when he finally pulls away, his lips glistening with your arousal, you can only stare at him in stunned silence. "jesus, park sunghoon," you manage to say, your voice breathless and shaky. "that was... incredible."
he grins, standing up and pulling you into a tight, sweat-slicked embrace. "ready for round two?" he asks, his voice low and teasing.
you nod, unable to form words as your body hums with residual pleasure. "always," you whisper, pulling him down for a kiss that’s both tender and hungry.
his hands slide around your waist, lifting you effortlessly as he positions you against the wall. your legs automatically wrap around his hips, and you can feel his hard length pressing against your core. the friction sends a jolt of desire straight to your core, making your breath hitch.
"fuck, you feel so good," he groans, his voice rough with need. "i've been wanting this for so long."
you don't have time to respond before he thrusts forward, his cock sliding into you with a slick, delicious ease. the sensation is overwhelming, a perfect blend of fullness and pressure that has you moaning into his mouth. he sets a steady rhythm, each thrust driving you higher, deeper into the haze of pleasure.
"sunghoon," you gasp, your fingers digging into his shoulders as he pounds into you, each movement more urgent than the last. "yes, yes, just like that."
he growls in response, his hands gripping your thighs tightly as he angles his hips for maximum penetration. the sound of your bodies colliding echoes in the small room, mixing with your moans and his soft curses. every nerve in your body is alight with sensation, every touch, every brush of his skin against yours fueling the fire building inside you.
"fuck, i'm close," he murmurs, his forehead resting against yours as he speeds up, his movements becoming more erratic. "so fucking close."
"me too," you admit, your voice trembling with barely contained pleasure. "come with me, sunghoon."
that's all the encouragement he needs. with a harsh groan, he surges forward, and you can feel him tightening inside you, his release coming in hot, shuddering waves. the sensation pushes you over the edge, and you cry out his name as you come again, your body convulsing around him.
for a moment, everything else fades away—the darkness, the haunted house, the world outside. it’s just the two of you, lost in the moment, tangled together in a messy, beautiful tangle of limbs and emotions.
when the aftershocks finally begin to fade, sunghoon leans back, staring at you with an expression that’s a mix of awe and something raw and vulnerable. “god, i love you,” he whispers, his voice hoarse and filled with emotion.
you blink up at him, your heart swelling with a rush of feelings that mirror his own. “i love you too,” you breathe, reaching up to cup his face.
he presses a soft kiss to your palm, his eyes never leaving yours. “we should find the others,” he murmurs, though there’s a reluctance in his voice that suggests he’d rather stay right here, wrapped up in each other forever.

"Interesting, really." The red headed man put his hand up to his chin, thoughtful. His looks are quite well kept, as expected from a scholar. A little peach fuzz donned his face on the chin and sides, proper shoes and pants held up by a belt with an orderly ruffle shirt in ivory and vest in chestnut. As he could never without his ruffles, as impractical in the lab as they were. But he could simply tie them up, for his new experimental form of alchemistry.
"Yes, I know. Although; due to recent discoveries a few researchers and scientists, me included, are now speculating about the possibility that this predatory adaptation also resulted from our interference with humans- may I elaborate?" The merman flicked his shimmering tail in excitement, his scales have often been compared to labradorite, as been his eyes. His light, wavey hair, tied up in a messy bun with some strands hanging in his face, as the merman fixed his glasses as best they'd hold up, eagerly holding on to the boards of the dock. Grinning star-eyed up at the human, almost like a sea-puppy.
"Sure, darling. I am intrigued, do tell." He smiled softly at his lover as he began a tangent about his latest theories, based on his newest bioarcheological findings.
It's been a few years since Darryl moved to this little island, originally to indulge in his experiments and get away from his pressuring parents, who set up marriage proposals left and right. Luckily he got out of it by claiming to already be married to his work.
Never in a hundred years, would he have thought to encounter someone this engaged in scienc- just as engaged as he was! But there he was, at shore one night. Observing and noting constellations. He originally didn't want to scare off the stranger, but the sudden leap in his chest left no room for air, for his mind to think. But instead of scaring him off, the mysterious stranger seemingly found enjoyment in the conversation. His name was Whylt and he'd been around for quite sometime, apparently he'd heard of Darryl and was eager to meet him.
The two soon became friends. Close friends. And soon after that, even close to the point that one felt confident enough to steal a kiss in the secure darkness of the night, near the water and their now shared home. It felt like a dream come true, to Darryl. Even more so as Whylt opend up, told there was more to him and for the first time in their lives, they felt the sweet embrace of love in the soft sea breeze warm from the summer air, under the bright full moon. At first the redhead was worried. Worried he might just wake up in a shared bed with a poor lass, that he knew could never be loved by him as she deserved. Back with his parents, who know nothing but of a "good friend and colleague" of his. Worried that one day he might just wake up without this beautifully kind and smart being next to him, that the merman would flee and take his heart with him. But after one night as Whylt confessed similar thoughts and worries, they'd promised to vow to stay, until death do them part. And it's been quite a few years, a bit more than half a decade, since then.
"And have you made the effort to start writing yet? The papers for your theories?" The redhead grined smug, knowing full well his partner rather enjoys the practical part much more. As he earned a drawn out, dramatically bored sigh from the merman, his grin grew wider.
"Not yet, of course! I... Must find more evidence to prove or counter it. After all, I must consider all sides!" He breathed a laugh, trying his best to get around the mountain of paperwork waiting for him at his desk. Darryl let out a hearty laugh, bellowing into dusk and after a short moment, Whylt joined in. The merman lifts himself up onto the dock, temporarily exchanging his fins for legs.
"The food's ready too, if you'd like." The now two men help eachother stand up, the human getting kiss from his love, as they do.
"Thank you, dear. I love you, my little squirrel." He said laying is lips on the other's again, gaining the same form of affection back.
"I love you too, my little otter." He grabs the pale hand of the merfolk, to hold it up gently and adore it with another kiss. "Let's go, then." They smile at eachother smitten and content. In this moment and for many, many years to come.
“So mermaids and sirens are two different species?” “Just so. My people, what you call mermaids or merfolk, share a common ancestor to you humans, making us distant cousins. What you call sirens, however, are fish that evolved to look and sound like humans to attract their favorite prey.”

What about Wade and Logan watching Vanessa and Reader pole dancing together and the boys getting all hot and bothered by watching?
note: overload — that’s all you guys need to know.
———
“Aren’t you excited!? Your long-time, short-time crush is going to dance in front of us tonight with my long-time and short-term fiancé,”
As soon as the two entered the bar, Wade couldn’t stop teasing Logan about the fact that this young lady he’s been crushing on for a while, will be dancing tonight.
“She just started yesterday, why would she already be on stage?” Logan sighed as he leaned back in his chair. “Maybe because she’s the hottest worker, right after my fiancé!?”
Logan glared at Wade, making him put his hands up in a surrendering passion.
“Look, don’t be grumpy all night. I wanna enjoy my butter pecan up there, alright? Good boy,” Wade patted Logan’s head before shouting out Vanessa's name to support her before she came up.
“That’s my girly pop!” Wade yelled out, making Vanessa chuckle as she danced on stage with y/n. Their session was almost done, and Logan felt drained. Watching y/n like this was going to be unforgettable tonight.
At first, he hated the idea of y/n being like this in front of so many men. That’s the reason why he came last second. Now he’s wishing he never did, with how hard and leaky he was from watching.
He couldn’t possibly go up to y/n without her knowing. She’d see the patch instantly. He cursed himself for being a perv.
“Hey, I’ll be right back,” Logan got up and quickly walked away before Wade could speak or anyone could see him cover himself up.
“Logan!? Wade sent me back here to come and get you! He said you’ve been all here for almost an hour,” y/n said as she made her way down the small hallway to the bathrooms.
After the show, it got dead, since people were only there to see the strippers of the night.
“Logan?” Y/n asked again, but he still didn’t hear her. He was too busy trying to focus on his release. “Logan, are you even here?” Y/n opened the men’s bathroom slowly, not really caring if she saw anyone else. She wanted to make sure Logan was alright if he was still here.
“Goddamnit,” y/n heard Logan grunt. She wanted to turn back around and leave, thinking he was having trouble using the bathroom until she saw one hand over the bathroom stall.
She squinted her eyes to take a better look, seeing how tight he was gripping the metal. The stall was bending in from how hard he gripped down.
“F-Fuck, just- Fuck, c’mon,” Logan groaned in annoyance, angry that he’s been going at this for what felt like days. He’s a mutant, so he should be able to last however long he pleased, but he wanted to release now. He’s never been this hard in his life.
“Logan?” Y/n said low, but surprisingly, he heard her this time. “Fuck-“ the man cut himself off and stopped instantly. “Y/n!?” The man panicked as he fixed himself up, but that was going to be hard.
He’s been leaking for who knows how long, and everything had made its way all over his hand. When he went to wipe his hand in his jeans, all it did was make him look worse.
“Yeah, I was just- I was just checking on. Wade told me to,” y/n said as she rubbed her fingers together, a bit embarrassed that she probably witnessed Logan, and an older adult jerking off in a bar bathroom.
“That motherfucker,” Logan mumbled as he began to buckle his pants. “I can, uh, leave if you’d like. I’m technically doing something illegal anyways,” y/n spoke about her being in the men’s bathroom. “No, no!- Just wait a second,”
Y/n stayed silent as she heard Logan groan in frustration and probably break a few things in the stall before he finally came out.
“Hey, Bub, uh, wassup?” Logan asked as he quickly walked over to the sink, not trying to make anything seem too obvious. “Just checking’ on ya,” y/n smiled as she scanned the man.
“Are you sure you’re okay, Logan?” Y/n felt the need to walk over to Logan, but slowly. “Yeah, Bub, just needed to take a leak, that’s all,” Logan lied as he turned around after drying his hands.
“Are you sure? You’re breathing a bit heavy, and-“ Y/n went on until she looked down at his lower body, seeing what his jeans looked like. They were basically drenched in one particular area.
Logan took a deep breath with his eyes closed, knowing he was caught and couldn’t lie his way out. He prayed she’d think he was just some man who needed to rub one out, but she kept asking him the right questions.
“First time watching the new modern women strip?” Y/n chuckled shyly as if wondering if this was even a joking situation. “You’re a funny one,” Logan chuckled as he fixed his shirt he noticed was sitting wrong.
“It’s nothing to be embarrassed. Most men don’t know how to act when they see a pair of tits,” y/n joked, but that slightly bruised Logan’s ego.
“Seen enough tits in my life, Bub,” Logan said, right before he took a look down at her chest. “Oh, you have? Seems like a fun life,” y/n got a bit defensive at his response. She couldn’t believe it at first, but her response was out of jealousy.
“Ain’t too bad — As long as they come with a pretty face,” Logan said as he looked into her eyes with a head tilt. “Yeah,” was all y/n could say as she broke eye contact.
“You know you’re pretty, right?” Logan asked as he moved towards y/n, softly letting his hand rest on her waist. “Really?” Y/n asked, confidence suddenly being thrown out of the window.
“Oh, yeah — So damn pretty,” Logan placed his free hand on her cheek, slightly rubbing it as her eyes widened. “T-Thank you,” y/n stuttered, and all Logan could do was chuckle at how she got around him.
“Got me all worked up out there, hun. Didn’t know you could move like that,” Logan admitted. “That’s why they had me dance on my first day,” Y/n said, reminding Logan about that. “That doesn’t sit right with me, Bub. Don’t want you back here workin’ for a creep,”
“But Vanessa? She works here,” y/n said, but he some care. “That ain’t my girl, so what she does, doesn’t concern me,” Logan said, not wanting to sound rude, but he truly did not care about anyone else, but y/n.
“You, though? You’re my girl, and you didn’t tell me about this job — Wade had to,” Logan said as the hand on her waist tightened. “And, that doesn’t sit right with me,”
Y/n felt the need to apologize, thinking she did something terribly wrong, even though she didn’t. Only in Logan’s eyes, she did do something that would need some consequences.
“Gonna say anything before I do what I’ve been needing for the past two hours?” Y/n wanted to speak, but she couldn’t. She was curious about how far Logan would take this.
“C’mere,” Logan said as he pulled y/n into a bigger bathroom stall than the one he was in. Once he locked the door, he pushed y/n to her knees, making sure to keep eye contact with her soft eyes.
“Gonna need you to look at me just like that until I’m done, okay? Been stuck for the past hour with this shit,” Logan said as he reached into his jeans to pull himself out. He didn’t think about it, but y/n sure did once she saw his length.
He was long, harder than she’d ever seen anyone before, thick, veiny, and leaking more than an average human should be.
“Open up, Bub,” was all Logan said as he pushed at her lips with his tip. Y/n hesitated but soon opened up and took him in. She had stopped after a few inches, but he continued thrusting his hips until she was in as much as he thought she could take.
“Fuck, baby — This is exactly what I needed,” Logan rolled his eyes as he felt instant release. He knew he was close, but he wanted to last. “Stop gaggin, baby — Wanna last a bit longer,” Logan told y/n, but she couldn’t. He was too huge.
“Bub, I said- Oh my god,” Logan grew angry, but soon whined as her throat collapsed around his shaft. “Fuck, I can’t hold it, Bub. So damn wet and warm- Fuck,” was all Logan said before his cock twitched.
Y/n couldn't help but look up at Logan to watch him lose himself in her mouth. The main she let out as he spilled into her mouth, made him groan louder, and tighten his grip on her hair.
“Goddamnit, I’m gonna cum again-“ Logan struggled to say as his legs shook, and a second orgasm ripped from him. Y/n’s eyes widen as more cum filled her mouth, so much that his seed leaked out of her mouth. There was too much to take.
“Nah uh, swollen it all, or I make you walk out with it on your face,”

Fluid, Dynamics
“So, uh…” Anakin said, looking around him. “This is weird.”
“Is there something wrong, Master Jedi?” the Kaminoan asked, concerned. “I was going to welcome you to Tipoca City.”
“Oh, I’m actually not a Master,” Anakin replied. “My Master’s busy, I’m just…”
He shook his head. “Sorry about that, it’s very unprofessional of me. I know I’m supposed to be professional, but being around this much water is very odd for me.”
“Being around water is odd for you?” the Kaminoan repeated. “...is there an alternative? I know Kamino is an unusually wet planet, but I did not think the difference was that stark.”
“I’m from a world where there just… isn’t water,” Anakin explained. “The only way we got water to drink was to pull it out of the air, and there wasn’t enough to go around.”
Then he frowned slightly. “Actually, uh… come to think of it, it isn’t all that far from here to my homeworld… do you think I could ship some water over there?”
“That is an… odd request,” the Kaminoan admitted. “But I must admit, we do have more water than we know what to do with. Perhaps we could discuss something like that after our main business is completed.”
“Sure,” Anakin agreed. “So, where do we get started?”
“I will take you to Lama Su,” the Kaminoan decided. “He will show you the current state of progress.”
Anakin nodded, absently, mostly thinking about showing up at Tatooine with a freighter full of water.
“How often does Anakin go on missions without you?” Padme asked, curious.
“It happens, sometimes,” Obi-Wan replied. “Increasingly often these days, actually. Anakin is approaching the point where he will have the chance to become a Jedi Knight, and… I worry about him a little.”
“Is that something a Jedi does?” Padme said.
“All the time,” Obi-Wan replied. “But right now, Senator, your safety is the highest priority.”
He frowned. “Though I must admit, I was expecting there to have been some kind of assassination attempt by this point.”
“You almost sound disappointed,” Padme suggested.
“No, no, it’s pattern recognition,” Obi-Wan replied, firmly. “You see, my missions with Anakin so rarely go smoothly. And if this mission is going smoothly, where the biggest danger we’ve had to deal with is mosquitos, then I dread to think about what is going on with Anakin.”
There was a beep.
“...like that, for example,” Obi-Wan added, taking his comlink out of his pocket. “What is it, Anakin?”
“So, first I want to say, I didn’t set out to do this, Master,” Anakin said.
“...oh dear,” Obi-Wan sighed. “That’s never a good sign. So, what is it that you didn’t set out to do?”
“So it turns out that Kamino was building an army for the Jedi,” Anakin said. “Also, it’s a really wet, flooded planet, they actually have too much water, I didn’t know that was possible! But I said that Tatooine had too little water, and since they had all those giant ships anyway I thought some of them could be used for transporting lots of water…”
“Sorry, Anakin, Kamino was building an army for the Jedi?” Obi-Wan repeated, a little incredulously. “That seems like the most important part of the situation.”
“No, no, the most important part is that some guy called Darth Tyrannus hired this bounty hunter called Jango Fett to be the clone template,” Anakin said. “And get this, he’s the one who killed that bounty hunter we chased, and things got a bit complicated… anyway, I went over the technical details and the clones have this weird chip in them and I think Chancellor Valorum might have been trying to assassinate the Jedi because the chip would have let the Chancellor tell the clones to kill the Jedi… obviously I told the Kaminoans to take that bit out because we didn’t need it and it’s way too much like slavery if you ask me. Anyway, uh, I’ve got the clones shipping water from Kamino to Tatooine for now, the Kaminoans are actually totally okay with it because they’ve got too much water, and I rescued my mother, too! I told you she was in danger!”
Obi-Wan took several seconds to process that particular bit of Skywalkerness.
Then he processed it a second time.
“…you have the clones… shipping water to Tatooine,” he repeated.
“Yeah, it’s going to break the Hutt control over water production and transportation for anything above the subsistence level,” Anakin said. “And it’s going to make Tatooine a way better place-”
“I have to interrupt you there, Anakin,” Obi-Wan said. “You said you rescued your mother? That’s very impressive, but you didn’t tell me she was in danger.”
“I did!” Anakin objected.
“You said you were dreaming about her,” Obi-Wan pointed out. “That does not mean you were dreaming about her being in danger. That’s quite different, Anakin, you must remember to use the right words if you want me to know something.”
“...oh,” Anakin said, and Obi-Wan could hear the shrug. “Well, anyway, I think there might be some kind of Sith plot involved too because of the whole Darth thing. Do you think Chancellor Valorum was a Sith?”
“I see what you mean,” Padme admitted.

#like seriously Little reminds me more of Ruby than Ruby herself right now#I relate to Ruby so much in just needing to be ok for everyone all the time for things to be stable#when WBY is talking about how they bring her up by saying ‘we count on you’ and ‘you can do it’ and that’s basically what I heard growin up#my therapist once told me that you have to be the friend and caretaker for that little girl who always had to be ok#that she is still inside of my heart and that I’m the only one who can be there for her now#and something about… making sure my inner child feels safe reminds me so much of Ruby’s relationship with Little#also Little’s mannerisms are just … so v.1 Ruby it’s just uncanny#’I want to help even though I may not know how’#that’s blind Ruby optimism if I’ve ever seen it#rwby#rwby spoilers#rwby9#rwby volume 9#rwby ruby rose#rwby v9#rwby volume 9 spoilers#rwby theory#ruby rose
