man, it really is so much easier for me for me to follow fandom people who make positive posts i disagree with than negative posts i agree with
#it's the vibes you know#ie there is this jiggy stan i follow on twitter#and ngl i disagree with 98% of their jiggy takes. i love jiggy but that's an ACTUAL apologist#who refuses to see their fav fictional character as someone capable of doing bad things intentionally#that is NOT a jiggy interpretation i like. at all#but i keeo following! bc 1. they rt a lot of jgy and xi/yao fanart which i enjoy seeing#2. their focus is entirely on how much they love jiggy and lxc. they never actually pull stuff out of their butt#to trashtalk other fictional characters in the story (except jgs but being an evil creep is literally his narrative role so it's fine)#there are jiggy stans out there who are much more mild on the apologism but i still don't follow cause they put SO MUCH ENERGY#on being negative about NMJ and calling him out????? like he's a real person???? again. insanity#that's equally why i cannot follow most novel fans on tumblr. jesus christ all they DO is talk about characters they Don't Like#novel-only* fans. though this often applies to those cql-only fans too who looove trashtalking the novel#it's okay here and there but bro it's in Every Single Post. they're not a real person pls i wanna see what you Do like#it's just. unbearable to me. the thing abt fandom opinions and your personal taste on characters and such#is that it Literally Does Not Matter in the real world#unlike. ya kno. political opinions#so when people are so obnoxious about Fictional Media to the point where they enjoy putting other people down? nah#i'd follow 20 people i disagree with but make mostly positive and gushy posts#that 1 person i do agree with but just.
