it’s kinda insane to me how much of fiction is just jim and britt alone. a few stray collaborators but largely just them two and mike. it’s so barebones re: personnel in comparison to every other spoon album which has has at least one other lineup member working w them. i think that’s an important detail and an interesting one at that

#i guess it does show how unstable their lineup was at that time too like josh was half there half not and they still didn’t have a solid #keyboardist until eric turned up #< like i *think* there was 4 if not more people they had as a touring keyboardist before eric #who is techinically eric 2 as they had another guy called eric doing it before lol
