really funny being at least mildly parasocial with A Creative who made something you didn't end up liking, like 'well my official opinion of this piece of media is I'm really happy for my very good friend(s) for getting to make it, I know this project means a lot to them, I hope it brings them joy'

#this applies to a lot of things but I thought of it just now because I saw a post on facebook about jason segal #who for me is in the lowest possible tier of parasociality-- to wit: I've heard of him and he Seems Nice #that reboot muppets movie was pretty mid but I'm happy for him that he got to do it I know it was a big dream of his :)#ditto prozd as senshi ditto whatever's going on with the critical role tv show ditto nate stevenson and the nimona movie #ditto Beloved Local Ren Faire Performer writing a whole series of books about their act but they're VERY bad #aw sincerely and truly yay for you! oh no thanks though
