man i was getting a bit depressed, I was getting my ass kicked by this yugioh game's Tag Duel challenges because the choice of partners is extremely limited, and I didn't want to move away from my main two decks I used throught the game to make a completely new deck that would mash well with my one of the available partners

but i actually managed to find some really good options now >:D and have been able to kinda consistently beat some of the harder combos like yusei+jack and sherry+elsworth, and quite a few of the CPU free matches

i haven't found a good partner for turbo tags yet (considering yusei since he has a pretty good combo of a Tuner centered deck with control options), but regular tags have some really cool options

#so far I found a lot of success with Stephanie's blue eyes white Dragon deck and Graton's lightsworn deck #I'm looking into partners that also have really good control options since my decks doesn't have a lot of backrow and #the npcs Love to use Dimension prison and Torrential Tribute #for turbo I've been using Crow #who despite our decks not having a lot of synergy can flood the field with his blackwings to attack for game and has some really good #backrow removal and counter Traps that help adding some much welcome survivability to my deck #but yeah #i have a lot of beef with how this game gives you partners #giving you two extremely weak partners to chose from for Tag duels and then forcing you to unlock everyone else with these two dorks
