god sometimes i really truly hate watching gringos (specially white ones) talking about certain aspects of andor bc their analysis are so shallow

like im sorry if you never lived in a country under an imperialist regime set by an outsider militaristic force then you'll never get the feeling seeing the stormtroopers deployed in ferrix evocates on those of us who did/still live under US-backed "democracies"

#like yes you can do a good analysis of the source material and get the allegories but you'll never get the emotional turmoil of seeing #a small mining village thats being exploited and deprived of its natural resources to feed a foreign military complex #who are being constantly under surveillance and impoverished and fearful rise up at a funeral procession of all things #and the terror the troopers bring out showing up at that exact moment like no lie i never took the stormtroopers seriously in sw before tha #star wars #like srsly sometimes i wish some people would just sit back for a moment and try to see media through the eye of non-americans non-westener #this is why i hate reading/listening to anybody's opinion on andor. bc most of them suck no matter how well intentioned they are #same as people talking about star wars visions season 2 (specially the episodes from the chilean and south african studios)#like silencio gringo for ONCE #anyways my monthly star wars rant is over now
