Extremely cursed and possibly artistically-harmful #30dayscomics constraint idea for anyone who would like it:

Instagram lets you use its less-addictive desktop site called "Facebook Business Suite" when you're a "business" on instagram, and it lets you run A/B tests of posts (like, you can try two slightly different versions of the same post and then finalize whichever one "performs" better).

Experimental #30dayscomics idea:

Start with one comic, and post two variations. Over the course of the month, take cues from the better-performing comic and try to use that to inform the next day's comic (OR choose the worse-performing comic and try to incorporate or exaggerate it for the next day).

At the end of the month, you will have the optimal comic.

A collab with Mr. Algorithm, kind of like @madinkbeard and @whitecomics ' early 2010s experiments with semi or fully-automated comics.

(except in this case, it's an experiment in making conscious the ever-present algorithm that artists who use social media are always wrestling with subconsciously anyway.)

I spend the last weeks of 2017 building myself a website. I just posted a bit about my year and the projects I’m working on now - go take a look.

I’ve spent the last six months making a comics anthology about climate change grief by some of my favorite cartoonists, called Warmer: A collection of comics about climate change for the fearful & hopeful.
