So..., I was educated in the Rural Schools of America. I was taught to keep and protect an Independent mind in all things. To turn every issue over and over again until the full context and truth are revealed. Where possible. I still do that. Even this morning as I sat down with my first coffee, still a bit groggy. The Housemate must have been watching ABC last night. Because as I turned on the BoobTube. I found myself seeing the Women of 'The View'. I thought, because I think...., that I would give them a chance to reach me on any Common Sense level if they could. That was my mistake. But as I watched and listened, I quickly realized it wasn't about trying to reach me as an Independent but to reinforce what must be brainwashing already accomplished. Just making sure that they still had weaker minds fully under their control. I heard nothing but Ignorance of the realities, Self-Inflicted Blindness, deep Hatred of all things not of their Liberal narratives. But then I also realized I wasn't listening to authentic, original gibberish spouted by these Women. All were obviously getting their cues and Talking/Bitching points from a teleprompter. It wasn't the Women I was hearing but their Puppet Master George Sorros. A Far Left Sociopathic/Marxist Billionaire locked in a Social Political war with another Sociopathic Billionaire, Rupert Murdoch, on the Establishment (The Bush Dynasty), Far Conservative Right. Though I have suspected this was the case for a long time now, I didn't realize the extent these two men would go too. To get us involved in their personal battles. Using us to fight the dirty Social and Political war. So..., you think yourself an "Influencer"? You are nothing compared to these two very wealthy freaks. Who probably have a hefty bet going as to who will win. At the expense of not only us as individuals, but our American Society and Culture, and on a Global scale as well. So... , I watched with morbid curiosity as the Women of 'The View', prattled on clucking and hissing, apparently not sure if they were supposed to be chickens or snakes. I saw and heard both, playing off each other in nearly perfect choreography. What struck me the most was the blatant stupidity. It just has to be an act. Nobody is that stupid, unless there is profit and power to be found in it. But isn't this true of every "Main Stream Media" out there? FOX likes to think itself outside that Main Stream. But, it is not. It is exactly the same method, just on a different side of the fence. Harris Faulkners' "Outnumbered" as an example. It reminds me (both sides), of the Trailer Park Folk who are obsessed with professional wrestling. You can't tell them anything they don't want to hear either. The same mentality. The same utter and complete failure of Common Sense, Logic and Reason. And they too, are of like ilk. Republican and Democrats, who hear nothing that could in any way, cause them to question their own failure to identify the Truth and where it can most be found. Somewhere near the Middle. The utter and complete failure to be anything but sheep, herded by two Sociopathic Lunatics. What I came away with? That anarchy on a National Level, has already begun in America (rising crime), and these two very wealthy lunatics will get a lot of folks hurt and killed before the dust they kick up between you and I settles. Which one will "Win"? That will depend entirely on who has controlling interest through their puppets, in the rise of the American AI. Whatsoever you hand to government to solve for you, the government will take for itself to control you. In turn..., whatsoever you handover to a Machine, so too will it take to serve it's masters. It won't be you who wins. You..., are expendable.

Here's the audio recorder. It's a General Electronics model 3-5105. It says it comes with a remote control microphone but it doesn't. I'm guessing the lady I bought it from lost it or smth. It doesn't matter, I got it for like $5 US dollars.

I don't know if it works and it's really dirty. I plugged it and it started making a TV white noise, but quieter. It starts out loud but immediately turns into a low hum. It almost sounds like someone humming. It doesn't have a cassette tape in it and I can't find any. I don't know if it actually records or plays anything. So I need to find a blank cassette and probably a music cassette. Whatever, next up will be my camera. Tomorrow I'll be going to a vintage shop again. I saw a nice little grain mill. Looked like it was from the 50's. At a different place, I saw a bunch of old boobtubes. The one that caught my eye is probably from the 60's.

The camera will be the last photo I share of my vintage stuff. Some weird things have been going on. Not just with my collection, but with some of the people nearby. Non-locals are in town looking for something? They are very suspicious and say they're with the authorities. Whenever I ask any locals, they don't really know what I'm going on about. Crazy, yeah? Probably just some construction or smth.

Carmelita fox

This is gon’ be good.

Why I like them:She’s strong, sexy, occasionally adorable, hot-headed, morally pure, doesn’t take shit from anyone and is actually an incredibily good policewoman when Sly’s not involved.She’s tough as nails but also has heart, she treats criminals fairly but swiftly.I also have a weakness for both Latina characters and characters with blue hair, so she hits all the right marks.

Why I don’t:*INHALE* I don’t like her in Thieves in Time.Her design I don’t like in general but I’ve talked about that before.TiT wrote her as more of a stereotypical, irrational, moody and generally weaker character to be exploited, both as a damsel character and then as sex appeal with the belly dancing stage.Sly 1-3 Carmelita would have told Sly & Bentley to stuff the plan where the sun doesn’t shine, and then proceed to knock out both guards with her Shock pistol.Her personality is askew too, she whines and complains the whole time about Sly’s fake amnesia, when she was the one who took advantage of someone who had lost their memory in the first place.A better plot would have been Sly being angry at her for taking the advantage and Carmelita arguing with her morality to justify why she did it, not the other way around.Flirting with Sly’s ancestors too to make Sly jealous was kind of stupid too.I could go on for ages about TiT, and it’s not a bad game, but Carmelita is one of the weakest things about it.

Favourite Epsiode/Scene:Probably Sly 3 when Dr. M knocks Sly unconcious, and Carmelita goes “No-one hurts my criminal.” and proceeds to beat Dr. M’s ass.

Favourite Line:(Might be paraphrasing as I haven’t seen the scene in a while.)Sly: “What happened to the sweet girl I used to know?”Carmelita :“She grew up and stopped taking grief from guys like you.”Sly: “….Guys like me? Is there someone else?”Carmelita: “You’re the only guy in my sights, Ringtail!”

Favourite Outfit:Her Sly 2/3 2D cutscene outfit mostly, her outfits in-game are inconsitent but I do love the classic yellow crop jacket, blue boobtube, blue tights, brown boots and tan gloves look to her.

OTP:I had a thought that in their late teens, Carmelita and Neyla could have been romantically involved for a bit but eventually broke it off on a sour note when Neyla’s morally peculiar behavior surfaced, and then Sly 2 would have been the awkard teaming up of them again as Carmelita only had Neyla around as a favour to the Contessa.

BrOTP:Honestly, her and Bentley/Murray.In the games while she always regarded Sly in a sort of angsty frenemy/crush way, she seems legitimately friendly towards Bentley/Murray, even going as far to feed Murray sweets while he was captive in Sly 2 and greeting Bentley/Murray happily in Thieves in Time.I like to think after the end of TiT, she would remaind good friends with the two and help them find Sly.

Head Canon:Carmelita had a father who was commissioner of Paris’ police force, inspiring her to work her way throught the ranks and eventually join Interpol.Later her father would be killed in the line of duty, giving Carmelita her very “black and white” view of criminals and the law and a newfound will in bringing criminals to justice.

Unpopular Opinion:While her 3D Thieves in Time design is lacking in some areas, the 2D cutscene design is very unappealing and at times doesn’t look like Carmelita.The artist constantly makes continuity mistakes too.

A Wish:I’d wish for Carmelita to both have merchandise created of her, and for her to also take a bigger role in future Sly games/stories.She’s got so much potential to just be the cop Sly occasionally runs into.

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: Being reduced to a stereotypical character in the upcoming Sly TV show, or having a very ‘furry’ look to her face.
