I'd like you all to accompany me while I envision some sort of badass semi-royal glamorous RPG battle scene with Edgar all dressed up to impress in some Mettaton-esq battle gear, prepared to fight. But not out of malice -- just for the fun of it~

He fucking WOULD too, If I ever made a game and Edgar just so happened to be a fightable and/or interactable character he'd be the type to make it quite the fun & memorable experience. He's all about living life to the fullest, so why not spice things up a notch or two?

He'd throw encouragements out in betwixt the battle as well.. make it all worth the while, having small battle intervals for fun, whimsical little segments (LIKE METTATON) for dance n' such. Posing with you for little pictures/screenshot opportunities, change the scene.. hell, imagine it randomly flips the gameplay and you're up against him in a roller-skating race DANCE BATTLE. That'd be pretty dope, I reckon! Maybe even jam out with you on an instrument for the cool orchestral bits of the battle soundtrack that pops up!

Basically, what I'm saying is he'd make it HELLA funky~ he'd still put up a pretty good fight though... although I think he'd be the type of character to heal you mid-fight because he cares but also feels bad if he deals too much damage. Think Toriel mixed with Mettaton and Mari from Omori.
