Gosh darn it i was scared of bdw in the way that its branded to be a campaign with political intrigue. And i sometimes sat down staring at the bdw playlist thinking "godddd what if the political intrigue is shit......" but no its not shit. I like that along with the conflicts that come with the horn legion, personal conflicts and demon shit tm, there IS political intrigue. And im glad that mikey mixes it (especially virgil) with others types of conflicts so although its more in the background (at least now) IT ALWAYS MATTERS. Its so much fun to compare the leaders of countries. This especially goes to virgil and lotus holy fuck theyre so interesting to me. Im really beneath those wings guys.

#virgil and lotus esp cause theyre both facing the horn legion #arc 2 was a fun break from the attacks but i love the difference in preparation #i love the different types of power they long for #for lotus i think its more about the control of a vulnerable mass #and unlike sopholith and arc 2 of icebound she doesnt close the space off but uses it for military advantage #while virgil (im thinking abt eom virgil as well) is more about power over individuals #collecting secrets an all that we all know the drill now #prime example was his conversation with caprice #but hes still veeery power hungry in terms of him being a military man and coravachia #man coravachia is so weird virgil what r u doing bestie honestly. military AND religion WHILE working with top ten worst demons of all time #but i crossed out THE ENTIRETY of stryga out of my avantris vacation spots a long time ago #i should sleep #i really should #beneath dark wings #legends of avantris #virgil zurn #golden lotus
