Went on a road trip last weekend and had the visceral image of an arcane au where Viktor and Jayce were working in a gas station/car repair garage along a highway in the middle of the desert. World is weird 80s grunge post apocalyptic sci-fi with cobbled together tech where the customers that visit this gas station are a mix of rich elites from the walled utopian megalopolises scattered throughout the wasteland, people from smaller clans trying to find a better life, and gang members straight out of the thunderdome. Life is harsh, guns are plentiful, violence is expected, and the desert is deadly outside of the small town the gas station is attached to.

And there's Viktor and Jayce, helping customers and repairing fucked up mad max cars while being underpaid by some government corporate boss who owns the place and trying to invent something that'll get them out of this tiny community and into a better life. While also being fucking weird about each other as is standard for them in every universe.
