#macgyver 2016#macgyver#cold opens#matty#mac#jack#riley#bozer#team improv#3x07#3x07 Scavengers + Hard Drive + Dragonfly#s3#video#I was so excited for matty backstory#and then...it turned out to be that#which. if somebody could tell me the point of this whole arc that'd be great. because to me it seemed like it all amounted to nothing#like...it seemed really unnecessary to me. why build all this up and just cause more heartbreak. what even is the point#I personally don't think it helped further develop her character; only made it so she went through more hardship. and for what#she did the right thing even though there was nothing in it for her...but we already knew that about her. she's a genuinely good person#you didnt need to have her MIA husband cheat on her to prove that. how disrepectful#matty deserved so much better than this#maybe I need to rewatch it; I haven't since I saw it the first time so maybe im misremembering. but I don't think I am. whatever#anyways the thing I really like about this opening though was the tender moment between matty and jack#THAT was good. I liked that a lot#the small “please” and jack's like. oh shit...this is SERIOUS serious#that was nice#queue#ALSO HEY! airport security prompt. good timing. I totally did that on purpose. yeah just trust me (lying)
