#they are dating and married in my heart#I made them kittens and they are real. To me#if the wc fandom wasn't toxic and annoying I'm probably like. Still be making content for them in 2023#the harder the author sidelined them for my ultimate NoTP the harder I shipped LionxIce out of pure bitter spite#I think they were the first time I like. Really hard identified with a fictional character and ship#like “oh I'm Icecloud and I like dudes like Lionblaze! I feel represented!”#only for Lionblaze to get obsessed with the worst character in the series who taught me what a mary-sue was#kinda mirrors much of my life actually#the overachieving girls who are perfect at everything get endless attention#and the feisty ADHD disasters who aren't Cool Calm and Collected all the time and don't have any “feminine grace”#are laughed at viewed with scorn or completely ignored#tbh this ship was the first to introduce me to the “ND-coded characters can never win” trope#which wasn't really proved wrong to me until I latched onto Princess Anna later#she's at least allowed a few wins!
