need star trek medicine to be real so I can just go get a little psssh of "no more pain, no more coughing" juice and then take a nap for a month to make up for all this lost sleep

#//juri speaks #while getting an arterial blood-gas hurt a lot fucking more in the moment #ive decided that what i have now is worse #bc it Won't Leave and there is No Relief bc i cant actually let the muscles rest #bc i need them to breathe and move #and while i have *fewer* coughing fits i do still have a couple a day #which rip and tear at my body like doomguy going to town on some demons #even ibuprofen has forsaken me at this point
