udai just itches at my brain because you hear about him from saeko and you're like oh he's just like hinata! and then you meet him and you're like hmm maybe takeru? but you watch him again and go no, it's asahi and they're all wrong even though the responsibility that weighs on his shoulders is all asahi and the bitter curse of obscurity despite his efforts is takeru and the hunger that once almost ate him alive is so hinata and the part of him that still itches for volleyball but is manageable is reminiscent of noya and i just want to crawl inside his brain a little.
