Thinking about this again. I hadn't given it any thought at the time but that last post does make this specifically Wrath Carmen because it's a major difference in characterization that tabletop Carmen is, despite everything, not a hypocrite and is too morally pure to tempt (despite her questionable choice of morals). Wrath Carmen is a little more susceptible to the ends justifying the means as long as the right people are doing things (her).

Which is to say: tabletop Carmen would not be writing up other girls on dress code violation while violating it herself. She'd be writing them up while following the code and arguing for code reform.

Every so often I check the last few things in my notes app because I forget what I appended what I'm looking for to and I have rediscovered something from that day of dating sim AU posts going around which states, incorrectly, that Carmen Regis would be "aggressively and painfully normal" in a high school based dating sim. Lies and slander. I'm here to call my own private thoughts out. Carmen Regis would be one of those weirdly totalitarian anime student council members in an unhinged, deranged overpowered authoritarian student council. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
