i hate tht in the beginning of my souls adventure i was scared to use sorcery n shit bc id never rlly utilised magic in games before, n then i finally did a sorcery build n realised id been depriving myself of easy mode

#sorcery is a very good option for a first playthru i think #it helped me gain confidence to explore #cause i could target lock and clear out enemies before going into certain places #altho i will make the argument tht choosing sorcery can make ur late game harder #like yeah if ur spells hit they will decimate enemies and bosses alike #but better spells cost more fp and later enemies n bosses start dodging ur shit like mad #which is one reason why night comet is the first spell i hav equipped on my sorcery build #but i do think it helps u get better at the game n learning movesets too in a strange way #cause u hav to sacrifice a good amount of healing flasks for fp flasks #it helps to learn not to rely on ur healing too much #n it’s easy to get a lil cocky when u hav 12 fully upgraded heals #that’s not a problem with ds1 tho. 20 flasks no fp needed just stand back and profit #magic in that game is so op. i personally prefer it to pyro cause sorceries cast faster overall #ik pyromancy is king in ds1 but it’s sorcery all the way for me #my go to sorcery build in that game is usually logan’s staff + moonlight greatsword #which isn’t surprising cause i adore the moonlight gs #that turned into a rant. anyway #plum.txt
