how much longer of the first fic? like i know you write a lot and sometimes things get longer so like answer as best as you can!

at this current stage of my outline we have ONE more chapter in this arc, then we have two chapters of friendsgiving (it's supposed to be one but we know me), and then we have a couple chapters with Ned's POV to update on what's happening back in 1299 which will be it's own arc, then we have one final arc. so,,, PROBABLY we'll end at 25 chapters.... probably... but we know me and my catchphrase which is "LoF just got one chapter longer"

essentially, we end when Mysterio and Ohnn are caught. fic 2 is gonna be fun because i'm bringing in a DC villain that i don't think anyone would think to use + a very iconic spider-man villain

not me thinking about Jadis's reaction upon discovering they had a child with Ania whom was kept safety from their father and siblings. And with Marr as the legal parent through adoption--making everyone believe the child was Marr's. Only way to protect Naomi's real parentage.

though, neither Jadis or Ania really planned this because Jadis only proposed marriage to Ania and left her to consider her decision while they left for a tour.

knowing how much it stings not being around or aware of their daughter's existence, Jadis insist it was probably for the best not to get involved or have Naomi know of them without putting her at risk. They also don't want to tarnish the familial relationship between Naomi and Marr.

me, eating ice cream to soothe my sore throat: life is bliss. i am happy. i am content. everything is good.

also me literally the very same second that i stop eating my ice cream: i only know pain. to breathe is agony. to talk is torture. to swallow is like ingesting flickering flame. i see no end in sight to my suffering. i weaken by the second yet i will strive to stay strong.

the pain killers/cold or allergy medicine that would take away my pain in less than an hour if i just fucking took it: hey so i am actually RIGHT here and—

me, staring longingly out the window: when i was but a child such woes could not stop me. now i lay, boneless and tired, as i attempt to cope with constant discomfort. with endless pain. with existence and the inconveniences it continues to bring. the bravery must come from within. i shall survive this but i have yet to figure out how. the day drags on. i drag my feet. the world was heavy enough without the pain. now i simply collapse if i try to carry it. still i push forward.

Sophie’s strength but greatest weakness is her awareness - her overthinking often stumping her. 

In the same breath that she questions leaving altogether - a chance to be autonomous - the woman falls back to routine at knowing that her role is crucial. Acting in everyday life, and with how accustomed she is to how her life works, she can easily predict outcomes for her and her sisters (i.e., the sisters splitting after Mr. Hatter’s death). 

Fighting yourself without knowing yourself is self-deprecative and self-destructive bondage. Having to question what you do while looking to see who you are - or who you are made to be - is an identity crisis that overlaps with how powerless one truly feels over one’s self. 

In the same way that monotony drove Sophie to knowing, it also drew her to reclusiveness. One may see it as ‘cowardly’ but it can be read as ‘protective.’ Constantly in conflict and questioning yourself can burn out someone rather quickly. 

Hence characters that fulfills roles like herself would usually see a more calmer part of her. It is also why she is much more forward and excited to play a role - if not, occupy a new role - because of the constant habit of filling a place in someone else’s story.

rotating the thought of how. adam died in a way that left absolutely nothing of him behind except a scorch mark in ancient stone. that's not how most people end up dying. but it's how adam went, & he spent months in preternia, in heaven, valhalla, however you wish to call it, his great reward. he was just a soul there, affirmed by grayskull noting that everyone gets to choose their appearance in preternia. teela & the rest entered preternia through the gate in subternia, as solid, living bodies. when they returned to eternia, adam was the only one doing so without a breathing body to bring, in fact without a body to return to at all. he had to come back odd, if not wrong. rotating this thought…
