so 20 mins before i finish work for the weekend, my boss comes in and, as if i would be thrilled by the news, explains that the reason he made me comb through the budget spreadsheet for 3 hours the week before christmas was so he could give my coworker (on the same level as me but part-time) a pay rise.

#like. thanks for fucking nothing?#i don't begrudge her the payrise at all - i think bc she's part time it's a relatively small increase #but if she was working the same hours as me she'd earn more #which is pretty galling since my job is to administer the whole fucking department #rhiannon has an actual job #(but will be feverishly looking for a new one asap)
