When Lorde made basically the same video for Green Light (dancing in clubs/streets of NYC/on top of a car, before realizing something's missing in the end) it was met with acclaim for being so "real". Which was nothing extra or revolutionary, just a simple, praising post about how objectively smart and competent he is.
