#love when my career might be over before it even officially starts :)#having back issues so i went in to get it checked#thought they were gonna tell me i was fine#instead they found a type of herniation in two discs#which is concerning for several reasons#so i have to do physical therapy#and if that's all it is then i'm looking at 2-6 months recovery time#so i'll miss this season for sure#but given the presentation and everything there's a good chance it might not go away#so i'm potentially looking at pain for the rest of my life#and no chance of a career in this field#which is so great :)#might say fuck it and do it anyway#if i can get in a couple years before my back shits the bed it's better than nothing#just gotta decide if 3-5 years is gonna be worth it#it probably will#i'll be at the same level in about a decade anyway if it is a condition#so it makes no difference to me#anyway i'm pissed lmao#not snz
