This time, however, I found a living Estonian. Pvt. Lepp might be dead, but Assistant Tamm, for now, lives.
#makes me realise just how common estonian surnames with regards to nature really are#lepp is alder#tamm is oak#and my own surname is not plant-based but it literally does mean 'mountain'#which is comedy because estonia has a notoriously flat terrain and my entire family for generations is short and slim as shit
