watching the Netflix dub is like. fucking Evangelion but remembered during a fever dream it’s so cursed. Uncanny valley ass Evangelion version it’s like a weird hazy memory.

#which kinda enhances the experience tbh?#it’s still definitely. uh #a bit stilted.#the vas are great they’re doing wonderful #But the script is like. Just a Bit too literal and it feels off #Compared to the much more naturalistic dialogue of the old ADV dub #which is awkward sometimes yeah but it’s genuinely a really good localisation
